1 When the seventh month had come, and the children of Israel were in their cities, the people gathered themselves together as one man to Jerusalem.

35 On the first day shall be a holy convocation: you shall do no regular work.
36 Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day shall be a holy convocation to you; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. It is a solemn assembly; you shall do no regular work.
37 "'These are the appointed feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire to the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meal offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, each on its own day;
38 besides the Sabbaths of the LORD, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings, which you give to the LORD.
39 "'So on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruits of the land, you shall keep the feast of the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest.
40 You shall take on the first day the fruit of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.
41 You shall keep it a feast to the LORD seven days in the year: it is a statute forever throughout your generations; you shall keep it in the seventh month.
42 You shall dwell in booths seven days. All who are native-born in Israel shall dwell in booths,

44 Moses declared to the children of Israel the appointed feasts of the LORD.
Numbers 29:1-40
1 "'In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing of trumpets to you.
2 You shall offer a burnt offering for a pleasant aroma to the LORD: one young bull, one ram, seven male lambs a year old without blemish;
3 and their meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil, three tenth parts for the bull, two tenth parts for the ram,
4 and one tenth part for every lamb of the seven lambs;
5 and one male goat for a sin offering, to make atonement for you;
6 besides the burnt offering of the new moon, and the meal offering of it, and the continual burnt offering and the meal offering of it, and their drink offerings, according to their ordinance, for a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to the LORD.
7 "'On the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy convocation; and you shall afflict your souls: you shall do no kind of work;
8 but you shall offer a burnt offering to the LORD for a pleasant aroma: one young bull, one ram, seven male lambs a year old; they shall be to you without blemish;
9 and their meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil, three tenth parts for the bull, two tenth parts for the one ram,
10 a tenth part for every lamb of the seven lambs:
11 one male goat for a sin offering; besides the sin offering of atonement, and the continual burnt offering, and the meal offering of it, and their drink offerings.

13 and you shall offer a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to the LORD; thirteen young bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old; they shall be without blemish;
14 and their meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil, three tenth parts for every bull of the thirteen bulls, two tenth parts for each ram of the two rams,
15 and a tenth part for every lamb of the fourteen lambs;

17 "'On the second day you shall offer twelve young bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without blemish;

40 Moses told the children of Israel according to all that the LORD commanded Moses.
