²⁷ because you will not abandon my soul in Sheol, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay.

²⁵ But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives. In the end, he will stand upon the earth. ²⁶ After my skin is destroyed, then in my flesh shall I see God, ²⁷ Whom I, even I, shall see on my side. My eyes shall see, and not as a stranger. My heart is consumed within me.

¹⁵ But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol, for he will receive me. Selah.

¹³ For your loving kindness is great toward me. You have delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol.

¹⁹ Then you spoke in a vision to your faithful ones, and said, "I have bestowed strength on the warrior. I have exalted a young man from the people.

³ The cords of death surrounded me, the pains of Sheol got a hold of me. I found trouble and sorrow.

⁶ I went down to the bottoms of the mountains. The earth barred me in forever: yet have you brought up my life from the pit, LORD my God.

²³ And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, you will be brought down to hell. For if the mighty works had been done in Sodom which were done in you, it would have remained until this day.

²⁴ saying, "What do we have to do with you, Jesus, Nazarene? Have you come to destroy us? I know you who you are: the Holy One of God."

³⁵ The angel answered her, "The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore also the holy one who is born will be called the Son of God.

³⁴ saying, "Ah. What have we to do with you, Jesus, Nazarene? Have you come to destroy us? I know you who you are — the Holy One of God."

²³ In hell, he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far off, and Lazarus at his bosom.

³⁹ Jesus said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of the dead man, said to him, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days."

³¹ he foreseeing this spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was he left in Sheol, nor did his flesh see decay.

As it is also written in the second psalm, 'You are my Son. Today I have become your Father.' ³⁴ "Concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he has spoken thus: 'I will give to you the faithful sacred things of David.' ³⁵ Therefore he says also in another psalm, 'You will not allow your Holy One to see decay.' ³⁶ For David, after he had in his own generation served the counsel of God, fell asleep, and was placed with his fathers, and saw decay. ³⁷ But he whom God raised up saw no decay.

⁵² in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.

²⁰ But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know.

¹⁸ and the Living one. I was dead, but look, I am alive forevermore. I have the keys of Death and of hell.
