⁵ that in everything you were enriched in him, in all speech and all knowledge;

⁴ They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak.

¹² Now if their fall is the riches of the world, and their loss the riches of the non-Jews; how much more their fullness?

⁴ For whatever things were written before were written for our instruction, that through patience and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

¹⁴ I myself am also persuaded about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish others.

⁷ For who makes you different? And what do you have that you did not receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it? ⁸ You are already filled. You have already become rich. You have come to reign without us. Yes, and I wish that you did reign, that we also might reign with you. ⁹ For, I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last of all, like men sentenced to death. For we are made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and people. ¹⁰ We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You have honor, but we have dishonor.

¹¹ And through your knowledge, he who is weak perishes, the brother for whom the Christ died.

⁸ For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;

¹⁰ and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits; to another different kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues.

² If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

⁸ Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are tongues, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with.

⁵ Now I desire to have you all speak with other languages, but rather that you would prophesy, and he is greater who prophesies than he who speaks with other languages, unless he interprets, that the church may be built up. ⁶ But now, brothers, if I come to you speaking with other languages, what would I profit you, unless I speak to you either by way of revelation, or of knowledge, or of prophesying, or of teaching?

²⁶ What is it then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has another language, has an interpretation. Let all things be done to build each other up.

⁶ For it is God, who spoke for light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

⁷ But as you abound in everything, in faith, utterance, knowledge, all earnestness, and in the love from us that is in you, see that you also abound in this grace.

¹¹ you being enriched in everything to all liberality, which works through us thanksgiving to God.

¹⁷ that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;

⁷ that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus;

⁸ To me, the very least of all saints, was this grace given, to proclaim to the non-Jews the unsearchable riches of Christ,

¹⁹ on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News,

⁹ This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment;

⁹ For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, do not cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, ¹⁰ that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in every way, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

³ in whom are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden.

¹⁰ and have put on the new self, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator,

³ praying together for us also, that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds; ⁴ that I may reveal it as I ought to speak.

¹³ Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.

¹⁸ But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever.
