⁹ And when you hear of wars and disturbances, do not be scared; these have to come first, but the end is not at once."

³⁷ For I tell you, this word of scripture must be fulfilled in me: he was classed among criminals. Yes, there is an end to all that refers to me."

Have no fear of their threats, do not let that trouble you, ¹⁵ but reverence Christ as Lord in your own hearts. Always be ready with a reply for anyone who calls you to account for the hope you cherish, but answer gently and with a sense of reverence;
