³ Their bloude haue they shed lyke water on euery syde of Ierusalem, and ther was no man to bury them.

¹⁰ Wherfore shall the Heathen say: wher is now their God? O lette the vengeaunce of thy seruauntes bloude that is shed, be openly shewed vpon the Heathen in our syght.

⁷ Oure bones lye scatered before the pyt, lyke as when one graueth and dyggeth vp the grounde.

¹ At the same tyme sayeth the Lord the bones of the kinges of Iuda, the bones of hys prynces, the bones of the priestes & prophetes, yea & the bones of the citesens of Ierusalem, shalbe broughte oute of theyr graues ² & layed against the sunne, the Mone and all the heauenlye hoste, whom they loued, whome they serued whome they rayne after, whome they soughte & worshypped. They shall nether be gathered together nor buryed, but shall lye vpon the earthe, to theyr shame and despysynge.

¹⁶ and the people to whom they haue preached shalbe cast out of Ierusalem, dye of honger, and be slayne wyth the swearde (and there shallbe no man to burye them) buth they and their wyues, their sonnes and their daughters. For thus wyll I poure their wyckednes vpon them.

³ For I will bryng foure plages vpon them sayeth the Lorde. The swearde shall strangle them, the dogges shal deuoure them, the foules of the ayre, and beastes of the earth shall eate them vp, and destroye them.

⁴ They shal dye an horrible deeth, no man shall mourne for them, ner burye them, but they shall lye as donge vpon the earth. They shall perishe thorow the swearde and honger, and their bodyes shall be meate for the foules of the ayre, & beastes of the earth.

³³ And the same daye shall the Lorde hym selfe slaye them, from one ende of the earth to another. There shall no mone be made for any of them, none gathered vp, none buried: but shal lye as donge vpon the grounde.

²⁰ Those men will I geue into the power of their enemies, & into the handes of them that folowe vpon their lyues. And their dead bodies shalbe meate for the foules of the ayre, and beastes of the felde.

³⁵ that vpon you may come all the ryghtuous bloude that was shede vpon the earth, from the bloude of ryghtuous Abel, vnto the bloude of Zacharias the sonne of Barachias, whom ye slewe betwene the tempel and the aulter.

³⁶ As it is wrytten: For thy sake are we killed al day longe, and are counted as shepe appointed to be slayne.

⁹ And they of the people and kynredes, and tonges, and they of the nacyons, shal se theyr bodyes thre dayes and an halfe, and shall not suffer theyr bodies to be put in graues.

⁶ for they shed out the bloud of sainctes, & prophetes, & therfore hast thou geuen them bloud to drinke, for they are worthy.

⁶ And I saw the wyfe drounken with the bloude of Saynctes, and with the bloud of the wytnesses of Iesu. And when I saw her, I wondred wyth great maruayle.

²⁴ & in her was found the bloud of the prophetes, and of the sainctes and of al that were slayne vpon the earth.
