⁹ We se oure tokens no more, there is not one Prophet more, no not one that vnderstandeth any more.

¹³ And the bloud shall be vnto you a token vpon the houses wherin ye are, for when I se the bloude, I wyl passe ouer you, and the plage shal not be vpon you to destroye you, when I smyte the land of Egypte.

⁹ Therfore it shall be a sygne vnto the vpon thyne hande a remembraunce betwene thyne eyes, that the Lordes lawe maye be in thy mouth. For with a stronge hande the Lord brought the out of Egypt, ¹⁰ se thou kepe therfore this ordynaunce in his season from yere to yere.

¹⁷ And he answered him, yf I haue found grace in thy syght, then shew me a sygne, that thou art the Lorde that talketh with me.

¹ And the child Samuel ministred vnto the Lord Eli: & the word of the Lorde was precious in those dayes, for there was none open vision.

⁹ Teth. Her portes are casten downe to the grounde, her barres are broken and smytten in sonder: her kynge & prynces are caried awaye to the Gentyles. They haue nether lawe ner Prophetes, ner yet eny visyon from the Lorde.

²⁶ One myschefe & sorowe shall folowe another, and one rumoure shall come after another: Then shall they seke visions in vayne at theyr Prophetes. The lawe shalbe gone from the Priestes, and wysdom from the elders.

¹² I gaue them also my holy dayes, to be a token betwixte me and them, and therby know, that I am the Lorde, whiche haloweth them.

¹¹ Beholde, the tyme commeth (sayeth the Lord God) that I shal sende an hunger in to the earth: not the hunger of bread, ner the thyrst of water: but an hunger to heare the worde of the Lorde:

⁶ Therfore youre vysyon shallbe turned to night, & youre prophecyenge to darckness. The Sunne shall go downe ouer those prophetes, and the daye shalbe darcke vnto them.

⁴ God bearynge wytnesse therto, both wyth signes and wonders also, and with diuers miracles, and giftes of the holy ghoste, according to his own will.
