¹⁰ O God, how long shall the aduersary do this dishonoure? how longe shall the enemy blaspheme thy name? for euer?

¹ To the chaunter, a Psalme of Dauid. How longe wilt thou forget me O Lorde? for euer? howe longe wilt thou hyde thy face fro me? ² Oh how long shal I seke counsayl in my soule? how longe shall I be so vexed in myne hert? howe longe shall myne enemye triumphe ouer me?

¹⁶ For the voyce of the sclaunderer and blasphemer, for the enemye and auenger.

⁴ We are become an open shame vnto oure enemyes, a verye scorne and derysyon vnto them that are rounde aboute vs. ⁵ Lorde, howe longe wylt thou be angrye? shall thy ielousy burne lyke fyre for euer?

¹² And for the blasphemye wherewyth oure neyghboures haue blasphemed the, rewarde them, O Lorde, seenu folde into theyr bosome.

⁴⁶ Lord, how longe wilt thou hyde thy self? For euer? shall thy wrathe burne lyke fyre?

⁵⁰ Remembre Lord the rebuke that the multitude of the people do vnto thy seruauntes, and how I haue borne it in my bosome. ⁵¹ Wherwith thyne enemyes blaspheme the, and sclaunder the footesteppes of thyne anoynted.

⁶ And one of them sayde vnto him, whiche was clothed in lynen, and stode aboue vpon the waters of the floud: How longe shall it be to the ende of the wonderous worckes?

¹⁰ and they cryed wyth a loude voyce sayinge: Howe longe tariest thou Lord holy and true, to iudge and to auenge oure bloud on them that dwell on the earth?
