¹ A Psalme of Dauyd. The Lorde sayde vnto my Lord: Syt thou on my ryght hande, vntyll I make thyne enemies thy fotestole.

⁶ Yet haue I sette my kyng vpon my holy hyll of syon. ⁷ As for me, I wyll preache the law, wherof the Lord hath sayde vnto me: Thou arte my sonne, this day haue I begotten the. ⁸ Desyre of me, and I shall geue the Heathen for thyne enherytaunce. Yea the vttermost partes of the worlde for thy possessyon. ⁹ Thou shalt rule them wyth a rodde of yron, and breake them in peces lyke an earthen vessell.

¹ To the chaunter vpon Githith, a Psalme of Dauid. O Lord our gouernour: how wonderfull is thy name in all the worlde? howe excellente is thy glory aboue the heauens?

⁶ Thou haste set him aboue the workes of thy handes: and thou hast put all thynges in subiection vnder his fete.

⁶ Thy seate (O God) endureth for euer: the scepter of thy kyngdome is a right scepter. ⁷ Thou hast loued righteousnesse, & hated iniquitie: wherfore God (which is thy God) hath anoynted the with the oyle of gladnes aboue thy felowes.

⁴² saying: what thynke ye of Christ? Whose sonne is he? They sayed vnto him: the sonne of Dauid. ⁴³ He sayed vnto them: how then doeth Dauid in sprite, call him Lorde, sayenge: ⁴⁴ The Lorde sayed to my Lord sit on my righthande: tyl I make thyne enemyes thy fotestole. ⁴⁵ If Dauid call hym Lorde, how is he than hys sonne? ⁴⁶ And none coulde aunswere hym agayne one worde, neyther durste any from that daye forth axe him any more question.

⁶⁴ Iesus sayd to him thou hast sayed. Neuertheles I say vnto you, hereafter shall ye se the sonne of men sittynge on the ryght hand of power, and come in the cloudes of the skye.

³⁵ And Iesus aunswered & sayde, teachynge in the temple: how say the scribes that Christe is the sonne of Dauid? ³⁶ for Dauid him self inspired with the holy ghost, sayde: The Lorde sayde to my Lorde, sit on my righthand til I make thyne enemyes thy foote stole. ³⁷ Then Dauid him selfe calleth him Lord: & by what meanes is he then his sonne? And much people hearde him gladly.

¹⁹ So then when the Lorde had spoken vnto them: he was receyued into heauen, and is set doune on the ryght hande of God.

⁴² And Dauid hym selfe sayth in the boke of the Psalmes. The Lorde sayde vnto my Lorde, sitte on my ryghte hande, ⁴³ tyll I make thyne enemyes thy fote stole.

⁴¹ And he gate him selfe from them, about a stones cast, & kneled doune, & prayed

³⁴ For Dauid is not ascended into heauen: but he sayd: The Lord said to my Lord, syt on my ryght hande ³⁵ vntyll I make thy fooes thy fote stole.

²⁵ For he muste reigne tyll he haue put all hys enemies vnder his fete.

²⁰ whiche he wrought in Christe, when he raysed hym from the dead, and set hym on hys ryght hande in heauenly thynges, ²¹ aboue all rule, power, and myghte, and domynyon, and aboue all names that are named, not in thys worlde onely, but also in the worlde to come, ²² and hath put all thynges, vnder hys fete, and hath made hym aboue all thynges the heade of the congregacyon,

¹ If ye be then rysen agayn with Christ seke those thinges which are aboue where Christe sitteth on the right hand of God.

³ Whyche sonne beyng the bryghtnes of hys glorye, and verye Image of his substaunce, bearinge vp al thinges wyth the worde of hys power, hath in his owne persone pourged our synnes, and is sitting on the right hand of the maiestie on hygh,

¹³ Vnto which of the Angels sayed he at anye tyme? Sitte on my ryghte hande, tyll I make thyne enemies thy fote stole.

¹ Of the thynges which we haue spoken this is the pythe: that we haue suche an hye prieste that is sytten on the ryght hande of the seate of maiestye in heauen,

¹² But thys man after he had offered one sacryfyce for synnes, satte hym downe for euer on the right hande of God, ¹³ and from henceforth taryeth tyl hys foes be made hys fote stole.

² lokynge vnto Iesus the author and fynysher of our fayth, whiche for the ioye that was set before hym, abode the crosse, and despised the same, and is set doune on the ryght hande of the throne of God.

²² whyche is on the right hande of God, and is gone into heauen, aungelles, power, and mighte, subdued vnto him.
