¹³ The pore and the lender mete together, the Lord lyghteneth both their eies

²⁵ If thou lende money to any of my people that is poore by the, thou shalte not be as an vsurer vnto him, nether shalt oppresse him wt vsurye. ²⁶ If thou take thy neyghboures rayment to pledge, that thou delyuer it vnto him agayne by that the sunne go downe.

³⁵ If thy brother be waxed pore and fallen in decay with the, receiue him as a straunger or a soiourner, & let him lyue by th ³⁶ And thou shalt take none vsurye of hym, nor yet vantage. But shalt feare thy God, that thy brother maye lyue wt the. ³⁷ Thou shalt not lend him thy money vpon vserye, nor lende hym of thy foode to haue aduantage bi it:

⁵ Now are oure brethrens bodyes as oure owne bodyes and their children as oure chyldren: els shoulde we subdue oure sonnes and doughters vnto bondage, & some of oure doughters are subdued already, and no strength is there in oure handes, and other men shall haue oure landes and vyneyardes. ⁶ But when I hearde theyr complaynte and such wordes, it displeased me sore, ⁷ and I aduysed so in my mynde, that I rebuked the councelers, and the rulers, and sayde vnto them: wyll ye requyre vsury one of another? And I brought a greate congregacion against them

³ Considre, & heare me, O Lorde my God: lighten myne eyes, that I sleape not in death.

² Whether ryches or pouerty do mete vs, it commeth al of God.

⁴⁵ that ye may be the chyldren of youre father that is in heauen: for he maketh his sonne to aryse on the yuyll, and on the good and sendeth his raine on the iust and vniust.

⁹ And as Iesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man syt receyuyng of custome named Mathew, and sayd to hym: folow me.

¹⁰ neither theues, neythe couetous, neither dronkardes, neither cursed speakers, neither pyllars, shall inherete the kyngedome of God.

¹ And you hath he quickened also that were deade in treaspas & synne,
