²⁴ He that saieth to the vngodly: thou art rightuous, him shal the people curse yea the comenty shal abhorre hym.

⁶ Thou shalt not hinder the right of the poore that are amonge you in their sute. ⁷ Kepe the ferre from a false matter, and the Innocente and righteous se thou sley not, for I wil not iustify the wicked.

²⁶ Who so hoordeth vp hys corne, shalbe cursed amonge the people: but blessing shall light vppon hys head that selleth it.

¹⁵ The Lord hateth as wel hym that iustifyeth the vngodly, as him that condemneth the innocent,

²⁷ He that geueth vnto the poore, shall not wante: but he that turneth awaye hys eyes from suche as be in necessytye, shal suffer greate pouertye hym selfe.

¹⁰ Accuse not a seruaunt vnto hys master, lest he speake euell of the also, and thou be hurt.

²⁰ Wo be vnto them that cal euyll good, and good euyll: which make darckenesse lyghte, & lyghte darckenesse, that make sower swete and swete sower.

²³ These geue sentence wyth the vngodlye for rewardes, but condempne the iust cause of the ryghtuous.

²⁴ And they shall go forth and loke vpon the carions of them, that haue transgressed against me. For their wormes shall not dye, neyther shall their fyre be quenched, and al fleshe shall abhorre them.

¹³ For from the leaste vnto the moost, they hang all vpon couetousnes: & from the Prophet vnto the prieste, they go all aboute wyth falshed and lyes. ¹⁴ And besyde that, they heale the hurte of my people with swete wordes, sayinge: peace peace, when there is no peace at all.

¹⁰ Wherfore I will geue their wyues vnto aleauntes, and their feldes to destroyers. For from the loweste vnto the hyeste, they folowe all fylthy lucre: & from the Prophete vnto the prieste, they deale al with lyes. ¹¹ Neuertheles, they heale the hurte of my people with swete wordes, saying: peace, peace wher there is no peace at all.
