²³ These are also the sayenges of the wyse. it is not good, to haue respect ofe any person in iudgment.

¹⁵ Ye shall do no vnryghteousnes in iudgement. Thou shalt uot fauoure the poore nor honoure the myghtye, but shalt iudge thy neygebour ryghteously.

¹⁷ Se that ye know no man in Iudgement: but heare the small as well as the greate & be afrayed of no man, for the iudgment is Gods. And the cause that is to harde for you, bryng vnto me and I will heare it.

¹⁹ Wrest not the lawe nor know any person nether take any reward for giftes blind the wise & peruert the wordes of the ryghtuous.

⁷ Wherfore let the feare of the lord be wyth you, and take hede and do it. For there is no vnryghteousnesse in the Lord our God nor regarding of persones, nor taking of rewardes.

² How long will ye geue wrong iudgement, and accept the personnes of the vngodly? Selah. ³ Defende the poore and fatherlesse, se that suche as be in nede & necessitie haue right. ⁴ Deliuer the outcaste & poore, & saue hym from the hande of the vngodly.

⁴³ Who so is wyse, & pondreth these thynges well, shal vnderstande the louyng kyndnesses of the Lorde.

⁶ he shalbe more apte to vnderstande a parable, & the interpretacion therof, the wordes of the wise, & the darke speaches of the same.

⁵ It is not good to a regarde the personne of the vngodly, or to put backe the ryghteous in iudgmente.

¹⁷ My sonne, bow down thine eare, and herken vnto the wordes of wysdome, applye thy mynde vnto my doctryne:

²¹ To haue respecte of persons in iudgment is not good: And why? he wil do wrong, yea euen for a pece of bread.

¹ wher as no man hath wysdome and vnderstandynge, to geue answere thereunto. Wysdome maketh a mans face to shyne, but malyce putteth it oute of fauoure. ² Kepe the kynges commaundemente (I warne the) and the othe that thou haste made vnto god. ³ Be not hasty to go out of hys syght, and se thou contynue in no euell thynge: for whatsoeuer it pleaseth him, that doth he, ⁴ Lyke as when a kynge geueth a charge, hys commaundemente is myghtye: Euen so who maye saye vnto hym what doest thou? ⁵ Who so kepeth the commaundement, shal fele no harme: but a wise mans herte discerneth tyme and maner:

⁹ Who so is wyse, shall vnderstande thys: & he that is ryght instructe, wyll regarde it. For the wayes of the Lorde are ryghteous, suche as be Godlye wil walcke in them: As for the wicked, they wyll stomble therin.

²⁴ Iudge not after the vtter aperaunce: but iudge rightuouse iudgemente.

²⁰ Them that synne, rebuke openly, that other maye feare. ²¹ I testyfye before God & the Lorde Iesus Christ, and the electe aungels, that thou obserue these thynges wythout hasty iudgement and do nothynge parcyally.

⁴ are ye not parcyall in your selues, and haue iudged after euyll thoughtes? ⁵ Harken my deare beloued brethren. Hath not God chosen the pore of thys world, which are ryche in faythe, and heyres of the kyngedome whiche he promysed to them that loue hym? ⁶ But ye haue despysed the pore. Are not the ryche they whiche oppresse you: and they which drawe you before iudges?

¹⁷ But the wysedome that is from aboue, is fyrste pure, then peasable, gentle, and easye to be entreated, full of mercye & good frutes, wythoute iudgynge, and wythout simulacyon:

¹⁷ And yf so be that ye call on the father, whiche wythout respecte of person, iudgeth accordynge to euery mannes workes se that ye passe the tyme of youre pylgrymage in feare.
