²⁰ And why? the wycked hath nothyng to hope for, and the candle of the vngodly shal be put oute.

⁵ Shall not the lyght of the vngodly be put oute? yee the flame of hys fyre shall not burne. ⁶ The lyght shalbe darcke in hys dwellynge, and hys candle shalbe put out with hym.

¹⁷ How oft shall the candle of the wicked be put oute? howe oft commeth their destruccyon vpon them? O what sorow shal god geue them for their part in his wrath?

¹⁷ The wicked must be turned vnto hell, & all the Heythen that forget God.

⁶ Vpon the vngodly he shall rayne snares, fyre, brymstone, storme and tempest: thys rewarde shall they haue to drynke.

⁹ The lyght of the rightuous maketh ioyfull, but the candle of the vngodly shalbe put out.

²⁰ Whoso curseth hys father and mother, hys lyght shalbe put outin the myddest of darcknesse.

¹⁸ for the ende is not yet come & thy pacient abydyng shal not be in vaine.

¹¹ But wo be to the vngodlye & vnryghtuous for they shall be rewarded after theyr worckes.

¹² and the children of the kingdome shall be cast out in the vtter darkenes: there shalbe wepinge and gnashynge of teth.

⁸ And the folishe sayed to the wise: gyue vs of your oyle for oure lampes go out.

¹³ They are the ragynge waues of the sea, fomyng out theyr owne shame. They are wandryng starres to whome is reserued the myste of darcknes for euer.
