¹³ Dyd I euer thinke scorne to do right vnto my seruauntes and maydens, when they had any matter against me. ¹⁴ But seynge that God will syt in iudgement what shall I do? And for so muche as he will nedes vpset me, what answere shall I geue hym?

²⁴ And his fame sprede abrode through out all Siria. And they brought vnto him all sycke people that were taken with diuers diseases & gripinges, and them that were possessed with deuils and those which were lunatike, & those that had the palsie: & he healed them,

² And, lo thei brought to him a man sycke of the palsye, lyinge in his bedde. And when Iesus sawe the faith of them he said to the sick of the palsie sonne be of good chere, thy sinnes be forgeuen the.

³ And there came vnto hym that brought one sicke of the palsie, borne of foure men. ⁴ And because they coulde not come nye to hym for preace, they vncouered the rofe of the house, where he was. And when they had broken it open, they let doune the bed where in the sicke of the palsye laye. ⁵ When Iesus saw their fayth, he sayed to the sicke of the palsie, sonne thy synnes are forgeuen the. ⁶ And there were certayne of the scrybes, sittynge there and reasonynge in theyr hertes: ⁷ how doth thys felowe so blaspheme? Who can forgeue synnes, but God onelye? ⁸ And immediatly when Iesus perceyued in hys spirite, that they so reasoned in them selues, he said vnto them why thinke ye suche thynges in your hertes? ⁹ Whether is it easyer to saye to the sicke of the palsie, thy synnes are forgeuen the: or to saye: aryse, take vp thy bed, and walke? ¹⁰ That ye maye knowe that the sonne of man hath power in earth to forgeue synnes, he spake vnto the sicke of the palsye: ¹¹ I saye vnto the, aryse and take vp thy bedde, and get the hence into thyne owne house. ¹² And by and by he arose, toke vp the bedde, & wente forthe before them all: in so muche that they were all amased, and glorifyed God sayinge: we neuer saw it on thys fasshyon.

⁷ For vncleane spyrites criynge with loude voyce, came out of manye that were possessed of them. And manye taken wyth palsyes, and manye that halted, were healed.

³³ and there he founde a certaine man named Eueas, which had kepte his bed .viij. yere sycke of the palsey.

¹¹ where is neyther Gentile nor Iew, circumcysion nor vncircumcision, Barbarous or Sythian, bond or fre: but Christ is all in al thinges.

¹ Ye maisters do vnto your seruauntes, that which is iuste and equall, sayng: ye know that ye also haue a maister in heauen.

² Se that they whiche haue beleuynge maysters, despyse them not because they are brethren: but so muche the rather do seruyce, for asmuch as they are beleuynge and beloued and partakers of the benefyte.

¹⁶ not nowe as a seruaunte, but aboue a seruaunte I meane a brother beloued, specyally to me: but howe muche more vnto the, bothe in the fleshe and also in the Lorde?
