⁹ Blessed are the peace makers: for thei shalbe called the children of God.

¹⁷ And Dauid went out to them and answered and sayde to them: If ye be come peasablye vnto me, to helpe me, myne hert shalbe together with you. But and yf you come to begyle me and to be myne aduersarye, seynge ther is no wyckednes in myne handes, the God of oure fathers loke theron and rebuke yt.

¹² Who so lysteth to lyue, and wolde fayne se good dayes.

⁶ I haue sayde: ye are Goddes, ye all are the chyldren of the moost hyest. ⁷ But ye shall dye lyke men, and fall lyke one of the tyrauntes.

⁶ My soule hath long dwelt amonge them that be enemies vnto peace,

⁶ O praye for the peace of Ierusalem, they shall prospere that loue the. ⁷ Peace be wyth thy walles, and plenteousnes within thy palaces. ⁸ For my brethren and companions sakes, I wyll wysh the prosperite.

⁴⁵ that ye may be the chyldren of youre father that is in heauen: for he maketh his sonne to aryse on the yuyll, and on the good and sendeth his raine on the iust and vniust.

⁴⁸ Ye shall therfore be perfect, euen as your father which is in heauen, is perfect.

³⁵ Wherfore, loue ye your enemyes, do good and lende, lokinge for nothynge againe, and your rewarde shall be greate, and ye shalbe the children of the hyest for he is kinde vnto the vnkinde and to the euyll.

³⁶ nor yet can dye anye more. For they are equal vnto the angels, & are the sonnes of god in as muche as they are the chyldren of the resurreccion.

²⁶ And the nexte daye he shewed hym selfe vnto them as they stroue, and woulde haue set them at one againe saiyng: Syrs, ye are brethren, why hurte ye one another?

¹⁴ For as many as are led by the spirite of God:

¹⁸ If it be possyble, how be it of your part, haue peace with all men.

¹ Hym that is weake in the fayth, receyue vnto you, not in disputynge and troublyng hys conscience. ² One beleued that he maye eate all thynge. Another whiche is weake, eateth herbes. ³ Let not hym that eateth, dispyse hym that eateth not. And let not hym whiche eateth not, iudge him that eateth. For God hath receyued hym, ⁴ What arte thou, that iudgeste another mans seruaunte? Whether he stande or fall that pertayneth vnto hys mayster: yea he shall stande. For God is able to make him stande. ⁵ Thys man putteth difference betwene day and daye. Another man counted all dayes a lyke. Se that no man wauer in hys owne meanynge. ⁶ He that obserueth one daye more then another, doth it for the Lordes pleasure. And he that obserueth not one day more then another, doeth it to please the Lorde also. He that eateth, doeth it to please the Lorde, for he geueth God thankes. ⁷ And he that eateth not, eateth not to please the Lorde with all, & geueth God thankes.

¹⁷ For the kyngedome of God is not meate and drynke, but ryghtuousnes, peace, & ioye in the holye ghoste. ¹⁸ For whosoeuer in these thynges serueth Christe, pleaseth well God, & is commendeth of men. ¹⁹ Let vs folowe those thynges which make for peace, and thynges wherewith one maye edifye another.

⁶ but one brother goeth to lawe with another, and that vnder the vnbeleuers?

²⁰ Nowe then are we messengers in the roume of Christ: euen as thoughe God dyd beseche you thorowe vs: So praye we you in Christes stede, that ye be atone with God,

¹¹ Finally brethren fare ye well, be perfeccte, be of good comforte, be of one mynde, lyue in peace, and the God of loue, and peace, shal be with you.

²² But the frute of the spiryte, is loue, ioye peace, longe sufferynge, gentylnes, goodnes, faithfulnes,

¹ I therfore whiche am in boundes for the Lordes sake, exhorte you, that ye walke worthy of the vocation wherwyth ye are called,

¹ Be ye folowers of God as deare children, ² and walke in loue euen as Christe loued vs, and gaue hym selfe for vs, an offeringe, and a sacrifice of a swete sauoure to God.

¹ If there be amonge you anye consolation in Christ, yf there be anye comfortable loue, yf there be anye feloweshyp of spirite, yf there be any compassion or mercye, ² fulfyll my ioye that ye drawe one waye hauinge one loue, being of one accorde, and of one minde, ³ that nothing be done thorowe stryfe or vaine glorye, but that in mekenes of mynde euerye man esteme other better then him selfe,

¹⁵ that ye maye be fauteles & pure, the sonnes of God wythout rebuke, in the middes of a croked and a peruerse nacyon, amonge whiche se that ye shine as lightes in the worlde, ¹⁶ holding fast the worde of life, vnto my reioysing in the daye of Christe, that I haue not runne in vayne, neyther haue laboured in vaine.

² I praye Euodias, & beseche Sintiches that they be of one accorde in the Lorde.

¹³ forbearing one another, and forgeuing one another, yf anye man haue a quarel to another, euen as Christe forgaue you, euen so do ye.

²² Lustes of youth auoyde, and folow ryghtuousnes, fayth, loue, & peace, with them that call on the Lorde with pure herte. ²³ Folyshe & vnlearned questions put from the, remembring that they do, but gendre stryfe. ²⁴ But the seruaunt of the Lorde must not stryue, but must be peasable to all men, and apte to teache, and one that can suffre

¹⁴ Embrace peace wt all men and holynes, wythout the whiche no man shall se the Lorde.

¹⁹ Wherfore deare brethren, let euerye man be swyfte to heare, slowe to speake, and slow to wrath. ²⁰ For the wrath of man worketh not that whiche is ryghtuous before God.

¹⁶ For where enuiynge and stryfe is there is vnstablenes and all maner of euyll workes. ¹⁷ But the wysedome that is from aboue, is fyrste pure, then peasable, gentle, and easye to be entreated, full of mercye & good frutes, wythoute iudgynge, and wythout simulacyon: ¹⁸ yea, & the frute of ryghtuousnes is sowen in peace, of them that maintayne peace.

¹⁴ as obedyent chyldren not fashyonynge youre selues vnto your old lustes of ignorauncye: ¹⁵ but as he whiche called you is holye, euen so be ye holy in all maner of conuersacyon, ¹⁶ because it is wrytten. Be ye holy, for I am holy.
