⁵¹ These are the enheritaunces whych Eleazar the priest and Iosua the sonne of Nun, and the auncient fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel deuided by lot in Siloh before the Lorde, in the dore of the tabernacle of wytnesse, and so made an ende of deuyding the countreye.

¹⁰ The sceptre shal not departe from Iuda, nor a ruelar from betwene hys legges, vntyll Sylo come, vnto whome the people shal hark

¹⁷ These are the names of the men, which shal deuyde you the land to enheret Eleazar the preast, & Iosua the sonne of Nun. ¹⁸ And ye shall take also a Lorde of euery trybe to deuyde the lande, ¹⁹ whose names are these: In the trybe of Iuda, Caleb the sonne of Iephune. ²⁰ And in the trybe of the chyldren of Simeon, Semuel the sonne of Amiud, ²¹ & in the trybe of BenIamin, Elidad the sonne of Cislon. ²² And in the trybe of the chyldren of Dan, the Lord Bucki the sonne of Iagli. ²³ And among the chyldren of Ioseph: in the trybe of the children of Manasse, the Lord Haniel the sonne of Ephod. ²⁴ And in the trybe of the chyldren of Ephraim, the Lorde Camuell the sonne of Siphtan. ²⁵ And in the trybe of the sonnes of Zabulon, the Lord Elizaphan the sonne of Pharnach. ²⁶ And in the trybe of the children of Isachar, the lord Palthiel the sonne of Asan. ²⁷ And the trybe of the sonnes of Aser, the lord Ahihud the sonne of Salomi. ²⁸ And in the trybe of the children of Nephthali, the Lord Peda El the sonne of Ammihud. ²⁹ These are they which the Lord commaunded to deuyde the enheritaunce vnto the chyldren of Israel, in the land of Canaan.

¹ And these are the countreyes whiche the children enhered in the land of Canaan, vnto which Eleazar the prieste, and Iosua the sonne of Nun, and the auncient heades of the trybes of the chyldren of Israel,

¹ And the whole congregacion of the children of Israell came together at Siloh, and set vp the tabernacle of wytnesse there, and the lande was in subieccyon before them.

¹⁰ And Iosua caste lottes for them in Siloh before the Lorde, and there he deuided the land vnto the chyldren of Israel, to eche their porcion.

¹⁹ Then they sayde: beholde there is a feaste of the Lorde yerlye in Siloh, which is on the northsyde of Bethell, and on the east syde of the way that goeth from Bethel to Sichem, and south from Libanon.

²¹ And when ye se that the doughters of Siloh come oute to daunce in a rowe, then come ye oute of the vyneyardes, and catche you euerye man a wyfe of the doughters of Siloh, & get you vnto the lande of Beniamin.

³ And the sayde man went out of his citie euery festful day, to praye & to offer vnto the Lord of hostes: where the two sonnes of Eli (Hophni and Phinehes) were the Lordes priestes.

³ He shal subdue the people vnder vs, and the Heythen vnder oure fete. ⁴ He choseth vs for an heretage, the beutye of Iacob whome he loued. Selah.

⁶⁰ So that he forsoke the Tabernacle in Silo, euen his habitacyon wherin he dwelte amonge men.

¹² Go to my place in Silah, wherevnto I gaue my name afore tyme, & loke wel what I did to the same place for the wyckednes of my people of Israell. ¹³ And now, thoughe ye haue done all these dedes (sayth the Lorde) & I my selfe rose vp euer by tymes to warne you & to comen wyth you yet wolde ye not heare me: I called, ye wolde not aunswere. ¹⁴ And therfore euen as I haue done vnto Siloh, so wil I do to thys house, that my name is geuen vnto (and that ye put your trust in) ye vnto the place that I haue geuen to you & youre fathers.

²³ They aunswered to hym: that we are. And he sayde vnto them: Ye shall drynke of my cup, & shal be baptised with the baptisme that I shalbe baptised with. But to sit on my right hande and on my lifte hande, is not myne to geue: but to them for whome it is prepared of my father.

³⁴ Then shal the kinge saye to them on his right hand. Come ye blessed chyldren of my father, enheryte ye the kingdome prepared for you from the begynninge of the worlde.

² In my fathers house are manye mansyons. Yf it were not so, I wolde haue told you. I go to prepare a place for you. ³ And yf I go to prepare a place for you, I wyl come agayne, and receyue you euen vnto my self, that wher I am, there may ye be also.

² as thou haste geuen hym power ouer all flesh, that he should geue eternall lyfe to as manye as thou hast geuen hym.

⁸ For yf Iosue had geuen them reste, then woulde he not afterwarde haue spoken of another day. ⁹ There remayneth therfore yet a rest to the people of God.
