And the kynge went strayght towarde the deserte. 5 And the hoste of the Caldeyes folowed after him, and toke hym in the deserte of Iericho, all his armye beynge scatered awaye from him. 6 And when they had taken him, they brought him to Nabuchodonozor the kynge of Babilon to Reblah, where they reasoned wyth him. 7 And they slue the sonnes of Zedekiah before hys eyes, and put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and fettered him, and caried him to Babylon.

2 Kings 25:18-21

18 And the chefe Marshall toke Saraiah the chefe preste, and Zophoniah, the hiest preste saue one, & thre kepers of the dore. 19 And out of the citie he toke a certayne chambrelayne that had the ouersyght of the men of warre, and fiue men that were euer in the kynges presence, whiche were founde in the cytye, and Sopher the captayne of the Hoste that taught the people of the lande to make warre and threskore men of the people of the lande that were founde in the citie also. 20 And Nabusaradan the chefe Marshall toke them and brought them to the Kynge of Babilon to Reblah. 21 And the kynge of Babilon smote them and slue them at Reblah in the lande of Hemath. And so Iuda was caried awaye out of their lande.

Isaiah 3:1-8

1 Euen so shall the Lorde of Hostes take awaye from Ierusalem & Iuda, all possessyons and power, al meate and drincke, 2 the captayne & the soudyar, the iudge & the Prophete the wyse and the aged man, 3 the worshipful of fyftye yeare olde, and the honorable: the Senatours, and men of vnderstandyng: the maisters of craftes and oratours. 4 And I shal geue you chyldren to be youre prynces (sayeth the Lord) & babes shall haue the rule of you. 5 One shall euer be doynge vyolence & wronge to another. The boye shall presume agaynste the elder, and the vyle persone agaynst the honorable. 6 Ye one shal take a frend of his owne kynred by the bosome and saye: thou haste clothynge, thou shalt be oure heade, for thou mayest kepe vs from thys fall and parell. 7 Then shall he sweare and saye: I can not helpe you. Moreouer, there is neyther meate nor clothynge in my house, make me no ruler of the people. 8 For Ierusalem and Iuda muste decaye, because that bothe theyr wordes and councels are agaynste the Lorde, they prouoke the presence of his magesty vnto anger.

Jeremiah 39:4-7

4 And when Zedekiah the king of Iuda wt his soudiars saw them, they fled, and departed out of the citie by night thorow the kinges garden, & thorow the porte that is betwene the two walles, and so they went towarde the wildernesse. 5 But the Caldees Hoste folowed faste after them, and toke Zedekiah in the felde of Iericho, and brought him presoner to Nabuchodonozor the kinge of Babilon vnto Reblath, that lyeth in the lande of Hemath, where he gaue iudgement vpon him. 6 So the king of Babilon caused the children of Zedekiah and all the nobles of Iuda be slayne, before hys face at Reblath. 7 And made Zedekiahs eyes to be put out, and bounde him with chaynes and sent him to Babilon.

Jeremiah 52:24-27

24 The chefe Captayne also toke Sariah the hye preste, & Sophoniah that was chefe next hym, & the thre kepers of the treasury. 25 He toke out the cytie a chamberlayne whyche was a captayne of the souldyers, and seuen men that were the kynges seruauntes, whiche were founde in the cytie: and Sepher a captayne that vsed to muster the men of warre: with .lx. men of the countre that were taken in the cytie. 26 These Nabuzaradan the chefe captayne toke, and caried them to the kyng of Babylon vnto Reblath: 27 and the Kynge of Babylon caused them to be put to death at Reblath in the lande of Hemath. And thus Iuda was ledde awaye captyue, out of hys owne lande.
