⁸ But yet Noe founde grace in the syght of the Lord.

¹⁹ behold, in as moch as thy seruaunt hath founde grace in thy syghte, nowe make thy mercy great, whyche thou shewest vnto me in sauing my lyfe. For I can not saue my selfe in the mountayns, lest some misfortune fall vpon me and I dye.

¹² And Moses sayde vnto the Lorde: se, thou saydest vnto me: leade thys people forth, but thou shewest me not whom thou wylt sende with me. And hast sayde moreouer: I know the by name and thou hast also founde grace in my syghte: ¹³ Now therfore, yf I haue found fauoure in thy sight, then shewe me thy way & let me know the: that I may fynde grace in thy syghte. And loke on thys also, howe that this nacion is thy people. ¹⁴ And he sayde: my presence shal goo wyth the, and I wyll geue the rest. ¹⁵ And he sayde: If thy presence goo not wyth me, carye vs not hence ¹⁶ for how shall it be knowne nowe that both I and thy people haue founde fauoure in thy syghte, but in that thou goest wyth vs: that both I and thy people haue a preemynence before all the people that are vpon the face of the erth. ¹⁷ And the Lord sayd vnto Moses: I wyll do thys also that thou hast sayde, for thou hast founde grace in my syghte, and I knowe the by name.

¹¹ For the Lord God is a light and defence, the Lorde wyll geue grace and worshyppe, and no good thynge shall he wytholde from them that lyue a godly lyfe.

²⁰ The Lord preserueth all theym that loue hym, but scatreth abroade all the vngodly.

⁴ So shalt thou fynde fauour & good vnderstanding in the sight of God & men.

³⁵ For who so findeth me, findeth life and shall obtayne fauour of the Lorde.

² A good man is acceptable vnto the Lord, but the wicked will he condempne.

² Thus saieth the Lorde: The people of Israel which escaped in the wyldernes from the swearde, founde grace to come into their rest.

³⁰ And the aungell sayed vnto her: feare not Mary: for thou haste founde grace wyth God.

⁴⁶ Which found fauour before God, and desired that he myght fynde a tabernacle for the God of Iacob.

⁴ To hym that worketh, is the rewarde not reckened of fauoure: but of dutye.

⁶ Yf it be of grace, then is it not of workes. For then were grace no more grace. Yf it be of workes, then is it no more grace. For then were deseruynge no lenger deseruynge.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am that I am. And his grace which is in me, was not in vaine, but I laboured more aboundantly then they al, not I but the grace of God which is with me.

¹⁵ But when it pleased God (whiche separated me from my mothers wombe, and called me by hys grace,

¹⁸ The Lorde graunte vnto hym that he maye fynde mercye with the Lorde at that daye. And in howe manye thinges he mynystred vnto me at Ephesus thou knowest very well.

¹¹ For the grace of God, that bringeth saluacion vnto al men, hath apered

⁷ that we ones iustifyed by hys grace, shoulde be heyres of eternall lyfe, thorow hope.

¹⁶ Let vs therfore go boldely vnto the seate of grace, that we may receiue mercye, and fynde grace to healpe in time of nede.

⁵ neyther spared the olde worlde, but saued Noe the ryght preacher of rightuousnes, and brought in the floud vpon the worlde of the vngodly,
