²⁷ And the watcheman saide: me thynketh, the runnynge of the formost is lyke the runnynge of Ahimaaz the sonne of Sadock. And the king said: he is a good man, and cometh wyth good tydynges. ²⁸ And Ahimaaz called and sayde to the kynge: good tydynges, and bowed hym selfe to the earthe vpon hys face before the kynge and sayde: blessed be the Lord thy god whyche hath shut vp all the men that lyft vp theyr handes agaynst my Lorde the Kynge.

²⁹ Seyst thou nat, that they whyche be diligent in ther busines stand before kinges and not among the simple people?

¹⁰ Saye not thou: What is the cause that the dayes of the olde tyme were better, then they that be now? for that were no wyse question.

³⁸ Then the man out of whom the deuils were departed, besought him that he myght be with him. But Iesus sent hym awaye saiynge. ³⁹ Go home againe into thine owne house, and shewe what greate thinges God hath done to the. And he wente his waye, and preached thorow out all the cytye what great thinges Iesus hath done vnto him.
