¹⁴ And Lot went out & spake vnto hys sonnes in lawe which shuld haue maryed his doughters, & sayde: stonde vp & get you out of thys place, for the Lord wyl destroy the cyte. But he semed as though he had mocked, vnto his sonnes in lawe.

¹⁷ When they had brought them out, they sayde: Saue thy lyfe & loke not behynde the nether tary thou in any place of the countre, but saue thy selfe in the mountayn, lest thou perysshe.

²² Haste the, and saue thy selfe there, for I can do nothyng tyl thou be come in thyther. And therfore the name of the cyte is called Zoar.

²¹ and they that regarded not the word of the Lord lefte theyr seruauntes and theyr Beastes in the fyelde.

³¹ And he called vnto Moses and Aaron by nyghte sayinge: Ryse vp, & get you out from amonge my people: both ye & also the children of Israel, & go & serue the Lorde as ye haue sayd.

²¹ seperate your selues from thys congregation, that I may consume them at once.

²⁶ And he spake vnto the congregation saying: depart from the tentes of these wicked men & touche nothynge of theyrs: lest ye peryshe in al theyr synnes.

⁴⁵ Get you from this congregation, that I may consume them quyckely. And they fel vpon theyr faces.

¹⁰ And the postes went from cytie to cytye thorou oute the lande of Ephraim and Manasseh and euen vnto Zabulon. But they laughed them to skorne & moked them.

¹⁶ But they mocked the messengers of God & despised theyr wordes & mysse vsed his prophetes, vntyll the wrath of the Lord so arose agaynst hys people that it was past remeadie.

¹ He that is styfnecked and wyll not be refourmed, shal sodenly be destroied without any helpe

²² And therfore make no mockes at it, that youre captiuite increase not: for I haue hearde the Lorde of Hostes saye, that there shall come a soden destruccyon & plage vpon the whole earthe.

¹² They haue denyed the Lord, & sayde: it is not he. Tush, there shall no mysfortune come vpon vs, we shall se nether swerd nor hunger. ¹³ As for the warnynge of the Prophetes, they take it but for wynde, yea there is none of these, which wyll tell them, that suche thynges shall happen vnto them. ¹⁴ Wherfore thus sayth the Lord thy God of Hostes: because ye speake suche wordes, beholde: The wordes that are in thy mouth wyl I turne to fyre, & make the people to be wood, that it maye consume them.

⁷ O Lorde, thou makest me weake, but thou refreshest me, & makest me stronge agayne. All the daye longe am the despysed, & laughed to scorne of euery man:

⁶ Flye awaye from Babylon, euery man saue hys lyfe. Let no man holde hys tonge to her wyckednes, for the tyme of the Lordes vengeaunce is come, yea he shall rewarde her agayne.

⁴⁹ Then saide I: O Lord they will saye of me: Tush, they are but fables, that he telleth.

¹⁸ The byrth of Iesus Christe was ou thys wise. When hys mother Mary was betrouthed to Ioseph, before they came to dwell together, she was founde with chylde by the holye Ghost.

²⁴ he sayd vnto them: Get you hence, for the mayde is not dead, but slepeth. And they laughed him to scorne.

⁴² As he yet was a commyng, the fende rent hym, and tare hym. And Iesus rebuked the vncleane spirite and healed the chyld, and delyuered hym to hys father.

²⁸ Lykewyse also, as it chaunsed in the dayes of Lot. They ate, they dranke they bought, they solde, they planted, they buylte. ²⁹ And euen the same daye that Lot went out of Zodome, it rayned fyre and brymstone from heauen, and destroyed them. ³⁰ After these ensamples, shal it be in the daye when the sonne of man shall appeare.

¹¹ & their wordes semed vnto them fained thinges, neyther beleued they them.

³² When they hearde of the resurreccion from death, some mocked, and other sayd: we wyll heare the agayne of thys matter,

³ When they shal say peace and no daunger, then commeth on them soden destruccion, as the trauaylynge of a woman wyth chyld, and they shal not escape.

⁴ And I hearde another voice from heauen say: Come awaye from her my people, that ye be not partakers in her sinnes, & that ye receiue not of her plages. ⁵ For his sonnes are gone vp to heauen, & God hath remembred her wickednes. ⁶ Reward her euen as she rewarded you, & geue her double accordinge to her workes. And youre in double to her in the same cuppe, which she fylled vnto you. ⁷ And as muche as she glorified her selfe and lyued wantonly, so muche poure ye in for her of punishment, & sorowe, for she said in her herte: I sytte being a quene and am no wydowe, and shall se no sorowe. ⁸ Therfore shal her plages come at one daye, death, and sorowe, and honger, and she shalbe brente wyth fyre, for stronge is the Lorde God, whiche iudgeth her.
