³ from Nilus in Egypte vnto the borders of Akaron northwarde, whiche lande was counted to pertayne vnto the Cananites, euen to the fyue Lordes of the Phylistynes, the Asathites, the Asdadytes, Ascalonytes, Gethites, Akaronites, with the Euites, from the south.

²⁴ For he ruled in all the regyons on the other syde Euphrates, from Thaphsah to Gaza, and also ouer all the kinges on the other syde the sayd Euphrates. And he had peace with all hys seruauntes on euery syde.

²⁰ & al kinges of the land of Hus, al kinges of the Philistines lande, Ascalon, Azah, Accaron & the remnaunt of Asdod,

⁴ at the same tyme, when he shall be there, to destroye the whole lande of the Philistines. He shall make waste both Cirus, Sidon and all other that are sworne vnto them. For the Lorde wyll destroye all Palestina and the other Iles, that be deuyded from the countre.

⁷ O ye chyldren of Israell, are ye not vnto me, euen as the Moryans, sayeth the Lorde? haue not I brought Israell out of the land of Egypte, the Philystues from Capthor, and the Sirians from Cyr?

⁴ For Gaza shal be destroyed, and Ascalon shall be layed waste. They shal caste oute Asdod at the noone daye, and Accaron shalbe pluckte vp by the rotes.

⁵ This shall Ascalon se, & be afraied. Gaza shalbe very sory, so shal Accaron also, because her hope is come to confusyon. For the Kinge of Gaza shal peryshe, and at Ascalon shal no man dwel.

²⁶ and hath made of one bloude all nacyons of men, for to dwell on al the face of the earth, and hath assygned before howe longe tyme, and also the endes of theyr inhabitacyon,
