¹² And the Lord smote the blacke Mores before Asa & Iuda, that they fled.

²⁵ & smote of their charett wheles and cast them doune to the grounde. Than sayde the Egypcians: Let vs fle from Israel, for the Lord fyghteth for them agaynst vs.

⁷ The Lord shal smyte thyne enemyes that ryse agaynst the before thy face. They shall come out agaynst the one way, & flee before the .vij. wayes.

³⁹ Se nowe howe that I, I am he, and that there is no God but I. I can kyll and make a lyue, and what I haue smytten that I can heale: neyther is there that can deliuer anye man out of my hande.

¹⁰ And the Lorde turmoyled them before Israell, and slewe of them a greate slaughter at Gabaon, and chased them a longe the waye, that goeth vp to Bethoron, & slewe them tyll they came to Esaka and Makeda.

¹⁵ & the men of Iuda gaue a shoute. And as the men of Iuda shouted, God smote Ieroboam & all Israel before Abiah and Iuda.

²² And what tyme they beganne to laude & praise, then the Lord set laiers awaite agaynste the children of Ammon and Moab and mounte Seir, to destroye them vtterly & to wype them out.

¹² Thorow God we shal do great actes, for it is he that shall treade downe oure enemies

¹⁷ Whiche smote greate Kynges, for hys mercy endureth for euer. ¹⁸ Yea, and slue myghtye Kynges, for hys mercy endureth for euer.

²⁶ I therfore so runne, not as an uncertaine thinge. So fight I not as one that beateth the ayer:

⁵⁷ But thankes be vnto God, which hath geuen vs victory, thorowe our Lorde Iesus Christ.
