¹⁴ I thanke God, that I christened none of you, but Crispus & Gaius,

⁴ I thanke my God alwayes on youre behalfe, for the grace of God whiche is geuen you by Iesus Christ,

¹⁴ Thankes be vnto God whiche alwayes geueth vs the victorye in Christ, and openeth the sauour of hys knowledge by vs in euerye place.

²⁰ geuinge thankes alwayes for al thinges vnto God the father, in the name of oure Lorde Iesu Christe,

¹⁵ And the peace of God rule in your hertes, to the which peace ye are called in one bodye. And se that ye be thankfull.

¹⁸ In all thinges geue thankes. For thys is the wyll of God in Christe Iesu towarde you.

¹² And I thanke Christe Iesus oure Lorde which hath made me stronge: for he counted me true, and put me in offyce,

⁴ I thanke my God, makynge mention alwayes of the in my prayers,

¹ The elder vnto the beloued Gaius, whom I loue in the trueth. ² Beloued, I wyshe in all thynges, that thou prosperedst, and faredest well euen as thy soule prospereth. ³ I reioysed greatly, when the brethren came and testifyed of the trueth that is in the, how thou walkest in the trueth. ⁴ I haue no greater ioye, then for to heare howe that my sonnes walke in veritye.
