¹ Paule by vocacyon an Apostle of Iesus Christe thorow the wyll of God, & brother Sostenes.

¹³ And assone as it was daye, he called his disciples, and of them he chose .xij. whiche also he called Apostles:

¹⁶ Ye haue not chosen me, but I haue chosen you and ordeyned you, that ye go & bringe forth frute, and that your frute remayne, and that whatsoeuer ye shall axe of the father in my name, he shoulde geue it to you.

²¹ Then sayde Iesus to them agayne: peace be with you. As my father sente me euen so sende I you.

² vntyll the day in whyche he was taken vp after that he, through the holy ghost, had geuen commaundementes vnto the Apostles whiche he had chosen:

²⁵ that the one may take the roume of this mynystracion and Apostleshippe, from that which Iudas by transgression fel, that he myght go to his owne place. ²⁶ And they gaue forth theyr lottes, and the lot fell on Mathias, and he was counted with the eleuen Apostles.

¹⁷ Then toke all the grekes Sostenes the chiefe ruler of the Synagoge, & smote hym before the iudges. seate. And Gallio cared for none of those thinges.

²¹ And he sayd vnto me: depart, for I wyl sende the a farre hence vnto the gentyls.

¹ Paule the seruaunte of Iesus Christ called to be an Apostle, put aparte to preache the Gospel of God,

⁵ by whom we haue receyued grace and Apostleshyp, to brynge all maner heathen people vnto the obedience of the fayth that is in his name:

⁹ We are Goddes labourer, ye are Goddes husbandrye ye are Goddes buyldinge.

¹⁶ Do ye not vnderstande, that he whiche coupleth him selfe with an harlot, is become one body? For two (sayth he) shalbe one flesh. ¹⁷ But he that is ioyned vnto the Lorde, is one spyryte.

¹ Am I not an Apostle? am I not free? haue I not sene Iesus Christ our Lorde? ² Are not ye my worke in the Lorde? Yf I be not an Apostle vnto other, yet am I vnto you. For the seale of myne Apostleshyppe are ye in the Lord.

⁹ For I am the leste of al the Apostles, whiche am not worthy to be called an Apostle, because I persecuted the congregation of God.

⁵ I impose that I was not behynde the chief Apostles.

¹² yet the tokens of an Apostle were wroughte amonge you with al pacience: with signes, and wonders and myghty dedes.

¹ Paul an Apostle, not of men, neyther by man, but by Iesus christ and by God the father, which raysed hym from death:

¹⁵ But when it pleased God (whiche separated me from my mothers wombe, and called me by hys grace, ¹⁶ for to declare hys sonne by me) that I shoulde preache hym amonge the heathen immediatly I communed not of the matter with fleshe and bloude,

⁷ But contrary wyse, when they sawe that the Gospel ouer that vncircumcysyon was committed vnto me, as the gospell ouer the circumcisyon was vnto Peter: ⁸ for he that was mighty in Peter in the Apostleshyppe ouer the circumcisyon the same was myghty in me amonge the Gentyls,

¹¹ And the very same made some Apostles, some Prophetes, some Euangelistes, some sheperdes, some teachers,

¹ Paule an Apostle of Iesus Christe, by the commaundemente of God our sauyour, and Lord Iesus christ whiche is oure hope.

⁷ where vnto I am ordeyned a preacher and an Apostle: I tell the trueth in Christe and lye not, beynge the teacher of the gentyles in fayth and verytye.
