³⁶ While they were thus talking, Jesus himself appear'd in the midst of them, and said to them, peace be with you.

¹³ if the family be worthy, your benediction shall have its effect; but if it be not worthy, it shall only redound to your own advantage.

²⁶ Eight days after, when his disciples were again in private, and Thomas with them: Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, peace be with you.
