¹ Give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; make known His deeds among the nations.

²³ For there is no spell against Jacob and no divination against Israel. It will now be said of Jacob and Israel, ‘What great things God has done!’

⁷ On that day David first committed to Asaph and his brothers this song of thanksgiving to the LORD: ⁸ “Give thanks to the LORD; call upon His name; make known His deeds among the nations. ⁹ Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; tell of all His wonders. ¹⁰ Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. ¹¹ Seek out the LORD and His strength; seek His face always. ¹² Remember the wonders He has done, His marvels, and the judgments He has pronounced, ¹³ O offspring of His servant Israel, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones. ¹⁴ He is the LORD our God; His judgments carry throughout the earth. ¹⁵ Remember His covenant forever, the word He ordained for a thousand generations— ¹⁶ the covenant He made with Abraham, and the oath He swore to Isaac. ¹⁷ He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant: ¹⁸ ‘I will give you the land of Canaan as the portion of your inheritance.’ ¹⁹ When they were few in number, few indeed, and strangers in the land, ²⁰ they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another. ²¹ He let no man oppress them; He rebuked kings on their behalf: ²² ‘Do not touch My anointed ones! Do no harm to My prophets!’

³⁴ Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.

³ From the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah—six in all—under the direction of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with the harp, giving thanks and praise to the LORD.

¹³ Now therefore, our God, we give You thanks, and we praise Your glorious name.

²⁰ Then David said to the whole assembly, “Blessed be the LORD your God.” So the whole assembly blessed the LORD, the God of their fathers. They bowed down and paid homage to the LORD and to the king.

⁴ One generation will commend Your works to the next, and will proclaim Your mighty acts— ⁵ the glorious splendor of Your majesty. And I will meditate on Your wondrous works. ⁶ They will proclaim the power of Your awesome deeds, and I will declare Your greatness.

¹¹ They will tell of the glory of Your kingdom and speak of Your might, ¹² to make known to men Your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of Your kingdom.

⁴ and on that day you will say: “Give praise to the LORD; proclaim His name! Make His works known among the peoples; declare that His name is exalted.

¹⁰ Was it not You who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep, who made a road in the depths of the sea for the redeemed to cross over?

²⁹ Therefore I decree that the people of any nation or language who say anything offensive against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego will be cut into pieces and their houses reduced to rubble. For there is no other god who can deliver in this way.”

¹ King Nebuchadnezzar, To the people of every nation and language who dwell in all the earth: May your prosperity be multiplied. ² I am pleased to declare the signs and wonders that the Most High God has performed for me. ³ How great are His signs, how mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; His dominion endures from generation to generation.

²⁶ I hereby decree that in every part of my kingdom, men are to tremble in fear before the God of Daniel: For He is the living God, and He endures forever; His kingdom will never be destroyed, and His dominion will never end. ²⁷ He delivers and rescues; He performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth, for He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.”

³² And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has promised, among the remnant called by the LORD.

¹⁴ And now he is here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on Your name.”
