⁷ Lift up your* heads, O you* gates and be lifted up, you* doors everlasting and the King of glory will come in.

³⁵ And it happened, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, O Jehovah and let your enemies be scattered and let those who hate you flee before you. ³⁶ And when it rested, he said, Return, O Jehovah, to the ten thousands of the thousands of Israel.

¹⁷ And they brought in the ark of Jehovah and set it in its place, in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it. And David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before Jehovah.

⁶ And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of Jehovah to its place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubim.

¹¹ so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud, for the glory of Jehovah filled the house of Jehovah.

¹ The king will joy in your strength, O Jehovah. And in your salvation how greatly he will rejoice!

⁵ His glory is great in your salvation. Honor and majesty you lay upon him.

¹⁶ Why do you* look-enviously, you* high mountains, at the mountain which God has desired for his abode? Yes, Jehovah will dwell in it forever.
¹⁷ The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands upon thousands. The Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the sanctuary.
¹⁸ You have ascended on high. You have led captivity captive. You have received gifts among men, yes, among the rebellious also, that Jehovah God might dwell with them.

⁶ The heavens declare his righteousness and all the peoples have seen his glory.

¹⁹ Open to me the gates of righteousness. I will enter into them. I will give thanks to Jehovah. ²⁰ This is the gate of Jehovah. The righteous will enter into it.

⁸ Arise, O Jehovah, into your resting-place, you and the ark of your strength.

² Open the gates, that the righteous nation which keeps faith may enter in.

⁷ And I will shake all nations and the delight of all nations will come and I will fill this house with glory, says Jehovah of hosts.

⁹ The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former, says Jehovah of hosts and in this place I will give peace, says Jehovah of hosts.

¹ Behold, I send my messenger and he will prepare the way before me. And the Lord, whom you* seek, will suddenly come to his temple. And the messenger of the covenant, whom you* desire, behold, he comes, says Jehovah of hosts.

¹⁹ Therefore indeed, the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

⁸ It is this mystery which none of the rulers of this age knew; for if they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;

⁸ Hence he says, ‘When he ascended onto high, he captured captivity and gave presents to men.’ ⁹ Now this saying, He ascended, (what is it saying?) except that he also came down into the downward parts of the earth first? ¹⁰ He who came down is also the same as he who ascended up above all the heavens, in order that he might fill all things.

¹ My brethren, do not have the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, in favoritism.

²² who is at the right hand of God, having traveled into heaven; with messengers and authorities and powers having been made subject to him.

¹⁸ But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Glory is to him, both now and toward the final day of this world. Amen.

¹¹ Worthy are you, our Lord and our God, the holy one, to receive the glory and the honor and the power because you created all things and because they are your will and they were created.
