¹ Praise Jehovah, O my soul.
O Jehovah my God, you are very great. You are clothed with honor and majesty,

¹ O Jehovah my God, I take refuge in you. Save me from all those who pursue me and deliver me,

¹ Give to Jehovah, O you* sons of the mighty, give to Jehovah glory and strength. ² Give to Jehovah the glory due to his name. Worship Jehovah in holy array.
³ The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters. The God of glory thunders, even Jehovah upon many waters.
⁴ The voice of Jehovah is powerful. The voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.

¹ Jehovah reigns! He is clothed with majesty. Jehovah is clothed with strength; he has girded himself with it.
The world also is established that it cannot be shaken.

⁶ Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

¹ Praise Jehovah, O my soul and all that is within me, praise his holy name.
² Praise Jehovah, O my soul and do not forget all his benefits,

²² Praise Jehovah, all you* his works in all places of his dominion.
Praise Jehovah, O my soul.

³⁵ Let sinners be consumed out of the earth and let the wicked be no more.
Praise Jehovah, O my soul. Praise Jehovah.

³ Great is Jehovah and greatly to be praised and his greatness is unsearchable.

¹⁷ And he put on righteousness as a breastplate and a helmet of salvation upon his head. And he put on garments of vengeance for clothing and was clad with zeal as a mantle.

²⁴ Can any man hide himself in secret places so that I will not see him? says Jehovah. Do I not fill heaven and earth? says Jehovah.

¹⁷ Ah lord Jehovah! Behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you, ¹⁸ who show loving kindness to thousands and recompense the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their sons after them, the great, the mighty God. Jehovah of hosts is his name, ¹⁹ great in counsel and mighty in work, whose eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men, to give everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his practices,

⁹ I beheld till thrones were placed and one who was ancient of days sat. His garments was white as snow and the hair of his head like pure wool. His throne was fiery flames and the wheels of it burning fire.

⁴ And I prayed to Jehovah my God and made confession and said, Oh, Lord, the great and fearful God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with those who love him and keep his commandments,

¹² Are not you from long-ago, O Jehovah my God, my Holy One? We will not die. O Jehovah, you have placed him for judgment and you, O Rock, have established him for correction.
¹³ And one similar to a son of man was in the middle of the seven lamp-stands. He has clothed himself with a long-robe and the breasts are girded around with a golden belt. ¹⁴ Now his head and his hair were white like white wool, like snow, and his eyes were like a flame of fire; ¹⁵ and his feet similar to polished brass, like what has been refined in a furnace, and his voice like the voice of many waters. ¹⁶ And he has in his right hand seven stars and a sharp two edged long-sword traveled out from his mouth and his appearance was as the sun appears in its power. ¹⁷ And when I saw him, I fell like one dead at his feet. And he placed his right hand upon me, saying, Do not fear; I am the first and the last, ¹⁸ and the Living One, and I became dead and behold, I am living forevermore and I have the keys of death and of Hades. Amen. ¹⁹ Therefore write the things which you saw, and the things which are, and the things which are about to happen after these things. ²⁰ The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand and the seven golden lamp-stands is this : the seven stars are the messengers of the seven congregations and the seven lamp-stands are seven congregations.
