¹ And the Pharisees and Sadducees came, testing him, and asked him to show them a sign from heaven. ² But having answered, he said to them, When it becomes evening, you say, It will be fair-weather; for the heaven is red. ³ And in the morning, There will be a storm today; for the heaven is red and dismal. Hypocrites! You indeed know how to discern the face of the heaven, but you are not able to discern the signs of the times. ⁴ An evil and adulterous generation is seeking after a sign, and no sign will be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet. And he left them and went away.
⁵ And his disciples came to the area beyond-that, and forgot to take bread. ⁶ Now Jesus said to them, Behold and take-heed, stay away from the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees!
⁷ Now they were reasoning among themselves, saying, It is because we took no bread.
⁸ Now Jesus having known it, said to them, You of small faith, why are you reasoning among yourselves, because you took no bread? ⁹ Do you not yet perceive, nor remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets you took up? ¹⁰ Nor the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets you took up? ¹¹ How is it that you do not perceive that I did not speak to you concerning bread, but to take-heed, stay away from the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees? ¹² Then they understood that he did not say to take-heed, stay away from the leaven of bread, but stay away from the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.


¹³ Now when Jesus came into the parts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Who do men say the Son of Man is?
¹⁴ Now they said, Some say John the Immerser; others, Elijah, and others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.
¹⁵ He says to them, But who do you say that I am?
¹⁶ Now Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
¹⁷ And Jesus answered and said to him, You are fortunate, Simon, Son of Jonah, because flesh and blood has not revealed it to you, but my Father, the one in the heavens. ¹⁸ But I also say to you, that you are ^{F} Peter and upon this, the rock, I will be building my congregation of believers, and the gates of Hades will not be prevailing against her. ¹⁹ I will be giving to you the keys of the kingdom of the heavens, and whatever you bind upon the earth will have already been bound in the heavens, and whatever you loose upon the earth will have already been loosed in the heavens. ²⁰ Then he ordered the disciples in order that they should speak to no one that he was Jesus, the Christ.

²¹ Jesus began to show to his disciples from then on, that it is essential for him to go to Jerusalem and to suffer many things from the elders and high-priests and scribes, and to be killed, and to arise in the third day. ²² And Peter took him and began to rebuke him, saying, God will be lenient to you, Lord. This will never be happening to you.
²³ But he turned and said to Peter, Go behind me, adversary! You are an offense to me, because you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.
²⁴ Then Jesus said to his disciples, If anyone is willing to come after me, let him deny himself and lift up his cross and follow me. ²⁵ For whoever wishes to save his life, will be losing it, and whoever loses his life because of me will be finding it. ²⁶ For what is a man profited, if he gains the whole world, and should forfeit his soul? Or what shall a man give as an exchange for his soul? ²⁷ For the Son of Man is about to come in the glory of his Father with his messengers, and then he will be giving to each one according to his practice. ²⁸ Assuredly I am saying to you, Some of those who are standing here may never taste of death, until they should see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.

⁷ But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his immersion, he said to them, Offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the future wrath? ⁸ Therefore produce fruit worthy of repentance.

²⁰ For I am saying to you, that if your righteousness is not abounding more-than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you may never enter into the kingdom of the heavens.

¹¹ And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples, Why is your teacher eating with the tax collectors and sinners?

¹⁴ But the Pharisees having gone out, took counsel against him, that they should destroy him.

³⁸ Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered him, saying, Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you.
³⁹ But he answered and said to them, An evil and adulterous generation is seeking after a sign, and a sign will not be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet;

¹ Then the scribes and Pharisees from Jerusalem come to Jesus, saying,

⁶ Now Jesus said to them, Behold and take-heed, stay away from the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees!

¹¹ How is it that you do not perceive that I did not speak to you concerning bread, but to take-heed, stay away from the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees? ¹² Then they understood that he did not say to take-heed, stay away from the leaven of bread, but stay away from the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

³ And the Pharisees came to him, testing him and saying to him, If it is legal to a man to divorce his wife according to every cause.

¹⁵ Then the Pharisees traveled away and took counsel on how they might ensnare him in his speech.

¹⁸ But Jesus, having known their wickedness, said, Why are you testing me, you hypocrites?

²³ In that day, the Sadducees came to him, saying that there is no resurrection, and they asked him,

³⁴ But the Pharisees, having heard that he had hushed the Sadducees, were gathered together on the same ground. ³⁵ And one out of them, a professor of the law, asked a question, testing him and saying,

² saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit upon the seat of Moses.

⁶² Now on the next-day, which is the day after the Preparation, the high-priests and the Pharisees were gathered together to Pilate,

¹¹ And the Pharisees came forth and began to debate together with him, seeking from him a sign from the heaven, testing him. ¹² And having groaned deeply in his spirit, he says, Why is this generation seeking a sign? Assuredly I am saying to you, As if a sign will be given to this generation. ¹³ And he left them, and again stepping onto a ship, went away to the area beyond-that.
¹⁴ And they forgot to take bread, and they did not have any bread, except one loaf in the ship with them. ¹⁵ And he ordered them, saying, Behold and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.
¹⁶ And they were reasoning with one another, saying, It is because we have no bread.
¹⁷ And Jesus knew it and says to them, Why are you reasoning so, because you have no bread? Do you still not perceive, nor understand? Do you still have your heart hardened? ¹⁸ Having eyes, do you not see? Having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember? ¹⁹ When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you lift up?
They say to him, Twelve.
²⁰ Now when the seven to the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you lift up?
Now they said, Seven.
²¹ And he said to them, How do you not yet understand?

² And having come to him, the Pharisees asked him, testing him, Is it legal for a man to divorce his wife?

¹⁵ Should we give or should we not give?
But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, Why are you testing me? Bring me a denarius, in order that I may see it.

¹⁸ And the Sadducees come to him, who say that there is no resurrection, and they asked him, saying,

²⁵ And behold, a certain professor of the law stood up, testing him and saying, Teacher, by having done what, will I be inheriting everlasting life?

¹⁶ But others, testing him, were seeking a sign out of heaven from him.

²⁹ Now when the crowds accumulated, he began to say, This generation is an evil generation. It is seeking after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet. ³⁰ For just-as Jonah the prophet became a sign to the Ninevites, so the Son of Man will also be to this generation.

⁵³ Now while saying these things to them, the scribes and the Pharisees began terribly to hold everything against him, and to quiz him for unrehearsed answers concerning many things; ⁵⁴ plotting against him, seeking to trap him in something out of his mouth, in order that they might accuse him.

⁵⁴ Now he also said to the crowds, Whenever you see the cloud rising from the west, immediately you say, A thunderstorm is coming, and so it happens. ⁵⁵ And whenever you see a south wind blowing, you say, There will be a burning heat, and it happens. ⁵⁶ You hypocrites, you know how to decipher the face of the earth and the heaven, but how do you not decipher this time?

²³ But he perceived their craftiness and said to them, Why are you testing me?

²⁷ Now some of the Sadducees came to him, those who contradict the resurrection–there is no resurrection; and they asked him,

³⁰ Therefore they said to him, Therefore what are you doing for a sign, in order that we may see it and should believe in you? What are you working for us? ³¹ Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it has been written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.

⁶ But they were saying this thing, testing him, in order that they may have something to accuse him.
But Jesus stooped downward and with his finger was writing in the soil and making-like nothing was happening.

¹ Now while speaking to the people, the priests and the magistrate of the temple and the Sadducees stood by them,

¹⁷ But the high-priest stood up and all those who were together with him (which is a sect of the Sadducees) and they were filled up from jealousy,

⁶ But when Paul knew that the one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men, brethren, I am a Pharisee, a son of a Pharisee. I am being judged concerning the hope and resurrection of the dead. ⁷ But when he said this, there became a dissension from the Pharisees and the multitude was split-apart. ⁸ (For the Sadducees indeed say that there is no resurrection, neither messenger nor spirit, but the Pharisees are confessing both.)

²² Since both Jews ask for a sign and Greeks seek wisdom;

³² And of the sons of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times to know what Israel ought to do, the heads of them were two hundred. And all their brothers were at their commandment.

²³ And Jesus was going around the whole of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the good-news of the kingdom and healing every kind of disease and every kind of illness among the people.

⁵ You hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see precisely to cast out the speck from your brother’s eye.

⁵ the blind recover their sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised and the poor have the good-news proclaimed to them.

⁷ You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied well concerning you, saying,

¹³ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you are devouring widows’houses, and praying long prayers for a pretext, because of this, you will be receiving even-more condemnation.

⁴⁴ Woe to you scribes, and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you are like the indistinct tombs, and the men who are walking upon them do not know it.

⁵⁶ You hypocrites, you know how to decipher the face of the earth and the heaven, but how do you not decipher this time?

¹⁵ Therefore the Lord answered him and said, You hypocrites, does not each of you on the Sabbath loose his bull or his donkey from the manger and having led him away, give it a drink?

³ And Jehovah said, My Spirit will not strive in man everlasting, he is flesh in their erring. Yet his days will be a hundred and twenty years.

¹⁷ Ephraim is joined to idols, let him alone.

¹² Though they bring up their sons, yet I will bereave them, so that not a man will be left. Yes, woe also to them when I depart from them!

¹⁷ And Jehovah prepared a great sea creature to swallow up Jonah and Jonah was in the belly of the sea creature three days and three nights.

³⁹ But he answered and said to them, An evil and adulterous generation is seeking after a sign, and a sign will not be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet; ⁴⁰ for just-as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the sea-creature; so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

¹⁴ Leave them! They are blind guides of the blind. Now if the blind guide the blind, both will be falling into a ditch.

¹⁷ And they began to plead with him to go away from their borders.
¹⁸ And when he stepped into the ship, he who had been demon-possessed was pleading with him in order that he might be with him.

¹² And having groaned deeply in his spirit, he says, Why is this generation seeking a sign? Assuredly I am saying to you, As if a sign will be given to this generation.

³⁸ For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this generation, the adulteress and sinner, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him, whenever he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy messengers.

⁴⁰ Now he was thoroughly testifying and encouraging them with many other words, saying, Save yourselves from this crooked generation.

⁶ Now while they were resisting us and blaspheming God, he shook-off his garment and said to them, Your blood is upon your own heads. I am clean. I will be traveling to the Gentiles from hereafter.

³⁹ And he dismissed the crowds, and stepped into the ship, and went into the borders of Magadan.

¹³ And he left them, and again stepping onto a ship, went away to the area beyond-that.
¹⁴ And they forgot to take bread, and they did not have any bread, except one loaf in the ship with them.

¹⁵ Seven days you* will eat unleavened bread, even the first day you* will put away leaven out of your* houses, because whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul will be cut off from Israel.
¹⁶ And in the first day there will be to you* a holy convocation and in the seventh day a holy convocation, no manner of work will be done in them, except what every man must eat, that only may be done by you*.
¹⁷ And you* will observe the feast of unleavened bread, because in this same day I have brought your* armies out of the land of Egypt. Therefore you* will observe this day throughout your* genealogy by an everlasting ordinance.
¹⁸ In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, you* will eat unleavened bread, until the twenty-first day of the month at evening. ¹⁹ Seven days there will be no leaven found in your* houses, because whoever eats what is leavened, that soul will be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he is a traveler, or one who is born in the land.

¹¹ No meal offering, which you* will offer to Jehovah, will be made with leaven, for you* will burn no leaven, nor any honey, as an offering made by fire to Jehovah.

¹² Then they understood that he did not say to take-heed, stay away from the leaven of bread, but stay away from the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

¹⁵ And he ordered them, saying, Behold and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.

¹ At which time, when ten-thousand from the crowd were gathered together, so-that they trampled down one another, he began to say to his disciples first, Take-heed to yourselves, stay away from the leaven of the Pharisees; it is hypocrisy.

¹⁵ Now he said to them, See and guard yourselves from greed, because not to anyone is his life in the abundance of his possessions.

⁶ Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole batch? ⁷ Cleanse out the old leaven, in order that you may be a new batch, just-as you are unleavened. For Christ our Passover has also been sacrificed on our behalf. ⁸ So-then we should celebrate a festival, not in old leaven, nor in the leaven of malice and wickedness, but in the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
⁹ A little leaven leavens the whole batch.

¹⁶ But avoid profane empty-talks; for they will progress on to more ungodliness, ¹⁷ and their word will hold an eating-away like gangrene; of whom are Hymenaeus and Philetus.

¹⁶ Now Jesus said, Are you also without understanding at this point? ¹⁷ Are you not yet perceiving, that whatever travels into the mouth makes room in the belly, and is cast out into the sewer? ¹⁸ But these things which are traveling from the mouth, come out from the heart, and they desecrate the man.

¹⁶ And they were reasoning with one another, saying, It is because we have no bread.
¹⁷ And Jesus knew it and says to them, Why are you reasoning so, because you have no bread? Do you still not perceive, nor understand? Do you still have your heart hardened? ¹⁸ Having eyes, do you not see? Having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember?

¹⁰ And they took-hold of the word for themselves, debating together with themselves, What is the rising up from the dead?

⁴⁶ Now there entered a reasoning among them, whoever of them was the greater.

¹⁴ But Peter said, Not-so, Lord, because I have never eaten anything, common or unclean.

³⁰ But if God so dresses-up the grass of the field, which is here today and the next-day is cast into the oven, will he not much more clothe you? You of small faith!

²⁶ And he says to them, Why are you cowardly? You of small faith! Then he arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there became a great calm.

³¹ Now Jesus immediately stretched out his hand, and grabbed him, and says to him, You of small faith, why were you skeptical?

¹⁴ And later, while reclining at a meal, he was manifested to the eleven themselves and he reproached their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him, that he had been raised.

²⁴ But Jesus himself was not entrusting himself to them, because he knew all men, \ulnone\nosupersub ²⁵ and because he had no need that anyone should testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.

³⁰ Now we know that you know all things and do not have need that anyone should ask you. We believe that you came forth from God with this speech.

¹³ And there is no created thing unapparent in his sight, but all things are naked and have been laid-bare to his eyes to whom is our account.

²³ And I will be killing her children with death, and all the congregations will know that I am he who is searching the kidneys and hearts and I will be giving to you, each one according to your works.

¹⁷ But they say to him, We do not have anything here except five loaves and two fish.
¹⁸ Now he said, Bring them here to me. ¹⁹ And he commanded the crowds to recline upon the grass, and he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he gave-thanks and broke them, and he gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples then gave to the crowds. ²⁰ And they all ate and were fed, and they took up what was leftover of the broken pieces, twelve baskets full. ²¹ Now those eating were approximately five thousand men, plus women and children.

¹⁶ Now Jesus said, Are you also without understanding at this point? ¹⁷ Are you not yet perceiving, that whatever travels into the mouth makes room in the belly, and is cast out into the sewer?

³⁸ Now he says to them, How many loaves do you have? Go and see.
And when they knew, they said, Five and two fish. ³⁹ And he commanded them all to recline by groups; all the groups upon the pale-green grass. ⁴⁰ And they leaned-back in rows of a hundred apiece and rows of fifty apiece. ⁴¹ And he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he gave-thanks and broke the loaves, and he was giving them to his disciples in order that they might place the bread beside them, and he divided the two fish among them all. ⁴² And they all ate and were fed. ⁴³ And they took up twelve baskets of broken pieces, and also pieces of the fish. ⁴⁴ And those who were eating the loaves were approximately five thousand men.

¹⁸ And he says to them, So are you also without understanding? Are you not perceiving, that whatever is outside, travels into the man, is not able to desecrate him;

¹³ But he said to them, You, give them something to eat.
But they said, We have no more than five loaves and two fish; lest we travel and should buy food for all of these people. ¹⁴ For they were approximately five thousand men.
Now he said to his disciples, Have them recline in parties, approximately fifty apiece. ¹⁵ And they did so and they all reclined. ¹⁶ Now he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he gave-thanks and broke them, and was giving them to the disciples to place beside the crowd. ¹⁷ And they ate and all were fed, and twelve baskets of broken pieces were lifted up, what was leftover by them.

²⁵ And he said to them, O you foolish ones and slow in heart to believe upon all that the prophets have spoken! ²⁶ Was it not essential for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter into his glory? ²⁷ And beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he was clarifying for them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.

⁹ There is one child here, who has five barley loaves and two little-fish, but what are these things among so-many?
¹⁰ But Jesus said, Make^*\'b0 the people lean-back. Now much grass was in the place. Therefore the men reclined, approximately five thousand in number. ¹¹ Now Jesus took the loaves, and having given-thanks, he distributed it to the disciples and then to the disciples who had reclined; also likewise from the little-fish as many as they were wishing to eat. ¹² Now as they were getting filled, he says to his disciples, Gather up the broken pieces which was leftover, in order that not anything might perish. ¹³ Therefore they gathered together and filled twelve baskets from the broken pieces from the five barley loaves, which were leftover by those who had been fed.

¹⁹ As many as I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent.

³⁴ And Jesus said to them, How many loaves do you have?
But they said, Seven and a few small-fish.
³⁵ And he commanded the crowd to lean-back upon the soil. ³⁶ And he took the seven loaves and the few fish, and he gave-thanks and broke them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples gave to the crowds. ³⁷ And they all ate and were fed, and they took up what was leftover of the broken pieces, seven baskets full. ³⁸ Now those eating were approximately four thousand men, plus women and children.

⁵ And he asked them, How many loaves do you have?

⁴⁰ And he said to them, Why are you so cowardly? How do you not have faith?

²¹ And he said to them, How do you not yet understand?

⁴³ Why do you not know my speech? Is it because you are not able to hear my word?

⁴ For God commanded, saying, ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ And, ‘He who is speaking evil of their father or mother, let him be ended by the sentence of death.’ ⁵ But you say, Whoever says to his father or his mother, in whatever you might have been profited from me, it is a gift to God, ⁶ and then should never honor his father and mother, and thus you invalidated the commandment of God because of your tradition. ⁷ You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied well concerning you, saying, ⁸ ‘These people are drawing near to me with their mouth, and are honoring me with their lips, but their heart is faraway from me. ⁹ But they are worshiping me in futility, teaching as their teachings–the commandments of men.’

¹³ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you are devouring widows’houses, and praying long prayers for a pretext, because of this, you will be receiving even-more condemnation.
¹⁴ But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you lock the kingdom of the heavens before men; for you are not entering in yourselves, nor are you allowing those who are entering in, to enter either.
¹⁵ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you go all around the sea and the dry land to make one Jewish-convert, and whenever he has become one, you are making him double the son of hell as you^\'b0 are yourselves.
¹⁶ Woe to you, you blind guides, that say, Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing, but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obligated. ¹⁷ You are foolish and blind; for which is greater, the gold, or the temple that makes the gold holy? ¹⁸ And, Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing, but whoever swears by the gift which is upon it, he is obligated. ¹⁹ You^\'b0 are foolish and blind; for which is greater, the gift, or the altar that makes the gift holy? ²⁰ Therefore, he who swears by the altar swears by it, and by all things upon it. ²¹ And he who swears by the temple, swears by it, and in the one who has dwelt in it. ²² And he who has sworn by the heaven, swears by the throne of God, and in the one who is sitting upon it.
²³ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and yet have left behind the weighty things of the law: justice and mercy and faith. You ought to do these, and not to have left behind those other things. ²⁴ You blind guides, who strain out the gnat and swallow the camel! ²⁵ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you cleanse the outside of the cup and the plate, but they are full from swindling and unrighteousness inside. ²⁶ Blind Pharisee! First cleanse the cup from within and the plate, in order that the outside of them might also become clean.
²⁷ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you are similar to whitewashed burial chambers, which on the outside indeed appear beautiful, but inside are full of dead men’s bones, and full of all uncleanness. ²⁸ So on the outside you indeed appear also righteous to men, but inside, you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

⁸ (For the Sadducees indeed say that there is no resurrection, neither messenger nor spirit, but the Pharisees are confessing both.)

¹³ I saw in the night visions, and behold, there came with the clouds of heaven someone like a son of man. And he came even to the ancient of days and they brought him near before him.

²⁰ And Jesus says to him, The foxes have burrows and the birds of the heaven have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere he may bow his head.

⁶ But in order that you may know that the Son of Man has authority upon the earth to forgive sins (then he says to the paralytic), While you are arising, lift up your cot and go away to your house.

⁸ For the Son of Man is lord of the Sabbath.

³² And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, not in the age which is now, nor in the future one.

⁴⁰ for just-as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the sea-creature; so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

³⁷ Now he answered and said to them, He who is sowing the good seed is the Son of Man;

⁴¹ The Son of Man will be sending forth his messengers and they will be collecting out of his kingdom all the offenses and those who are practicing lawlessness,

²¹ And Jesus went out from there, and departed into the parts of Tyre and Sidon.

³¹ But whenever the Son of Man comes in his glory and all the holy messengers with him. Then he will be sitting upon the throne of his glory;

²⁷ And Jesus went forth and his disciples, into the villages of Caesarea Philippi, and on the road he asked his disciples, saying to them, Who do men say that I am?
²⁸ Now they answered, John the Immerser and others, Elijah, but others, One of the prophets.
²⁹ And he asked them, But who do you say that I am?
Now Peter answering, says to him, You are the Christ.

⁴⁵ For the Son of Man also did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a redemption in exchange-for many.

¹⁸ And it happened, while he was praying alone, the disciples were together with him and he asked them, saying, Who do the crowds say that I am?
¹⁹ But they answered and said, John the Immerser, but others say, Elijah, and others, that someone from the ancient prophets has risen.
²⁰ But he said to them, But who do you say that I am?
But Peter answered and said, The Christ of God.

⁵¹ And he says to him, Assuredly, assuredly, I am saying to you, From now on, you will be seeing the heaven has opened, and the messengers of God ascending and coming down upon the Son of Man.

¹⁴ And just-as Moses who exalted the serpent in the wilderness, so it is essential for the Son of Man to also be exalted;

²⁷ and he also gave authority to him to make judgment, because he is a son of man.

³⁴ The crowd answered him, We have heard out of the law that the Christ remains forever and how do you say, It is essential for the Son of Man to be exalted? Who is this Son of Man?

⁵⁶ and said, Behold, I am viewing the heavens that have been opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.

³⁸ Jesus who was from Nazareth; how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went through out the land working good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with him.

¹⁴ Therefore since the children have shared of flesh and blood, in like-manner he partook of the same; in order that through death, he might do-away-with the one who had the dominion of death, this is the devil; ¹⁵ and he might set-free these, as many as were in fear of death, who were liable to bondage throughout all their life. ¹⁶ For surely he does not help messengers, but he is helping the seed of Abraham. ¹⁷ Hence he was obligated to have been similar to his brethren according to all things, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high-priest in the things pertaining to God, that he should make atonement for the sins of the people. ¹⁸ For in what he has suffered, having been tempted, he is able to help with those who are tempted.

⁵ Behold, I will send you* Elijah the prophet before the great and fearful day of Jehovah comes.

² and said to his young-servants, This is John the Immerser; he was raised from the dead, and because of this, these powers are working in him.

¹⁰ And his disciples asked him, saying, Therefore why do the scribes say that it is essential for Elijah to come first?

¹⁵ Others were saying, It is Elijah.
But others were saying, It is a prophet, like one of the prophets of old.

²⁸ Now they answered, John the Immerser and others, Elijah, but others, One of the prophets.

⁸ and by some, that Elijah had appeared, and by others, that one of the ancient prophets had risen.

¹⁸ And it happened, while he was praying alone, the disciples were together with him and he asked them, saying, Who do the crowds say that I am?
¹⁹ But they answered and said, John the Immerser, but others say, Elijah, and others, that someone from the ancient prophets has risen.

²¹ And they asked him, Therefore, what? Are you Elijah?
And he says, I am not.
Are you the prophet?
And he answered, No.

¹² And there was much murmuring among the crowds concerning him. Some were saying, He is a good man; others said, Not so, but he misleads the crowd.

⁴⁰ Therefore many out of the crowd, having heard the word, said, This is truly the prophet.
⁴¹ Others were saying, This is the Christ. Others were saying, The Christ does not come out of Galilee, does he?

¹⁷ They say to the blind man again, What do you say concerning him, in that he opened your eyes?
Now he said, He is a prophet.

¹¹ But he answered and said to them, It has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of the heavens, but it has not given to those men.

²⁹ And he asked them, But who do you say that I am?
Now Peter answering, says to him, You are the Christ.

²⁰ But he said to them, But who do you say that I am?
But Peter answered and said, The Christ of God.

²⁶ For who is there of all flesh, who has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have and lived?

⁷ I will tell of the decree. Jehovah said to me, You are my Son, this day I have fathered you.

² My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?

²⁶ I make a decree, that in all the dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel, for he is the living God and steadfast forever. And his kingdom is what will not be destroyed and his dominion will be even to the end.

³ And the Tempter came and said to him, If you are the Son of God, speak, in order that these stones may become bread.

³³ Now those in the ship came to him and, worshiped him, saying, You are truly the Son of God.

⁶³ But Jesus was silent. And the high-priest answered and said to him, I implore you by the living God, in order that you should tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God?

⁵⁴ Now the centurion and those guarding Jesus with him, having seen the earthquake and the things which happened, were extremely afraid, saying, This one truly was the Son of God.

⁶¹ But he was silent and answered nothing. Again the high-priest asked him and said to him, Are you the Christ, the Son of the Gracious One?

⁴⁹ Nathanael answered and says to him, Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel.

⁶⁹ And we have believed and have known that you are the Christ the Son of the living God.

²⁷ She says to him, Yes, Lord. I have believed that you are the Christ, the Son of God, he who comes into the world.

³¹ but these have been written, in order that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and in order that believing you may have life in his name.

³⁶ Now as they were traveling down the road, they came to a some water, and the eunuch says, Behold, here is water; what is preventing me from being immersed? \super{T}

²⁰ And immediately in the synagogues he was preaching the Christ, that he is the Son of God.

¹⁵ and saying, Men! Why are you doing these things? We are also human, of like-feelings with you and are proclaiming the good-news to you : to turn away from these futile things to the living God, who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and all things in them;

⁴ who has been determined as being the Son of God in power, according to the spirit of holiness, out of the resurrection of the dead), Jesus Christ our Lord.

³ being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, being served by us, not having been inscribed with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets, in fleshly hearts.

¹⁶ And what alliance has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God; just-as God said, ‘I will be dwelling among them and will be walking among them, and I will be their God and they will be a people to me.’

⁹ For they themselves are reporting concerning us, what sort of entrance we had toward you, and how you turned from idols to God, to serve a living and true God,

¹⁵ but if I am slow, these things are in order that you may know how men ought to conduct themselves in the house of God, which is the congregation of the living God, the pillar and base of the truth.

¹⁰ For we are also laboring and are reproached toward this end, because we have hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of the believing ones.

² whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the ages. ³ It is he who, being the brightness of his glory and the exact representation of his essence, and is carrying all things by his declaration of power. Having made a cleansing of our sins through himself, he sat down by the right hand of the Majesty in the high place; ⁴ having become so-much better than the messengers, inasmuch as he has inherited a more excellent name than they.
⁵ For to which of the messengers has he previously said, ‘You are my Son; I have fathered you today.’? And again, ‘I will be a Father to him and he will be for Son to me.’?

³¹ It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

²² But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, to the heavenly Jerusalem, and to tens of thousands of messengers,

¹⁵ Whoever confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him and he in God.

⁵ Who is he who overcomes the world, if not he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

²⁰ Now we know that the Son of God has come and has given us perception, in order that we might know the true one and we are in the true one, that is, in his son, Jesus Christ. He is the true God and the everlasting life.

¹³ And all your sons will be taught of Jehovah and great will be the peace of your sons.

³ The poor in spirit are fortunate, because theirs is the kingdom of the heavens. ⁴ Those who are mourning are fortunate, because they will be comforted. ⁵ The meek are fortunate, because they will inherit the earth. ⁶ Those who hunger and are thirsty for righteousness are fortunate, because they will be fed. ⁷ The merciful are fortunate, because they will be shown-mercy. ⁸ The clean in heart are fortunate, because they will be seeing God. ⁹ The peacemakers are fortunate, because they will be called sons of God. ¹⁰ Those who have been persecuted because of righteousness are fortunate, because theirs is the kingdom of the heavens. ¹¹ You are fortunate whenever they reproach and persecute you and say every evil word against you–lying, because of me.

²⁵ Jesus answered and said at that time, I profess you, O Father, Lord of heaven and the earth, that you hid these things from the wise and intelligent and revealed them to infants. ²⁶ Yes, Father, because thus it became a delight before you. ²⁷ All things have been given to me by my Father and no one fully knows the Son, except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father fully, except the Son and he to whomever the Son wills to reveal him. \ulnone\nosupersub

¹⁶ But your eyes are fortunate, because they are seeing, and your ears, because they are hearing. ¹⁷ For assuredly I am saying to you, that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things you are seeing and did not see them, and to hear the things you are hearing and did not hear them.

²¹ Jesus was glad in the spirit in that same hour, and said, I profess you, O Father, Lord of the heaven and the earth, because you hid these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to infants. Yes Father, because thus it became a delight before you.
²² And having turned to the disciples, he said, All things have been given to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is, except the Father, and who the Father is, except the Son and he to whomever the Son wills to reveal him.
²³ And having turned to the disciples, he said privately, The eyes which see what you see are fortunate. ²⁴ For I say to you, that many prophets and kings wished to see the things which you are seeing and did not see them, and to hear the things which you are hearing and did not hear them.

³² But I besought concerning you, in order that your faith may not fail, and someday having turned back again, establish your brethren.

⁴² And he led him toward Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, You are Simon, the Son of Jonah, you will be called Cephas, which is by translation, a Pebble.

⁴⁵ It has been written in the prophets, ‘And they will all be taught from God.’ Therefore, everyone who hears from the Father and has learned, is coming to me.

⁶ I manifested your name to the men whom you have given me out of the world. They were yours and you have given them to me, and they have kept your word. ⁷ Now they have known that all things, as many things as you have given me, are from you, ⁸ because the words which you have given me I have given to them, and they received them and they have known truly that I came forth from you and they have believed that you sent me.

¹⁵ Therefore when they had a meal, Jesus says to Simon Peter, Simon, Son of Jonah, do you ^{F} love me more-than these things?
He says to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.
He says to him, Feed my lambs.
¹⁶ He says to him again a second-time, Simon, Son of Jonah, do you ^{F} love me?
He says to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.
He says to him, Shepherd my sheep.
¹⁷ He says to him the third-time, Simon, Son of Jonah, Do you ^{F} love me?
Peter was sorrowful because he said to him the third-time, Do you ^{F} love me like a friend? And he said to him, Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you like a friend.
Jesus says to him, Feed my sheep.

⁹ but as it has been written, ‘Things which the eye did not see and the ear did not hear and things which did not come up in the heart of man, which God prepared for those who love him.’
¹⁰ But God revealed them to us through his Spirit; for the Spirit is searching all things, even the depths of God. ¹¹ For who from men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of the man, which is in him? So also, no one knows the things of God, except the Spirit of God. ¹² But we did not receive the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God; in order that we might know the things which were granted to us by God.

⁵⁰ Now brethren, I say this, that flesh and blood is not able to inherit the kingdom of God; neither is corruption inheriting incorruption.

¹¹ For I am making known to you, brethren, the good-news which was proclaimed by me, that it is not according to man. ¹² For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.

¹⁶ to reveal his Son in me, in order that I may proclaim the good-news of him among the nations. Immediately, I did not consult with flesh and blood; ¹⁷ in order that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of him, ¹⁸ the eyes of your heart having been enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance among the holy-ones,

⁸ For you are saved by the grace through the faith, and this thing, the gift of God, is not from you;

⁵ which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations, as it now was revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit.

¹⁸ having been rooted and having been founded in love, in order that you may have strength to grab, together with all the holy-ones, of what is the width and length and depth and height, ¹⁹ and to know the love of the Christ which surpasses knowledge, in order that you may be filled to all the fullness of God.

¹² Because the wrestling in us is not with blood and flesh, but with the principalities, with the authorities, with the world dominions of the darkness of this age, with the spiritual ones of wickedness in the heavenly places. \ulnone\nosupersub

²⁶ the mystery that has been hidden away from the ages and away from the generations, but now it has been manifested to his holy-ones. ²⁷ To whom God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, who is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

¹⁴ Therefore since the children have shared of flesh and blood, in like-manner he partook of the same; in order that through death, he might do-away-with the one who had the dominion of death, this is the devil;

³ The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is gracious, who according to his much mercy has born us again into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, ⁴ into an incorruptible, undefiled and unfading inheritance having been guarded in the heavens for you; ⁵ who are kept through faith in the power of God, into a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

¹ I am encouraging the elders the ones among you, (the fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of the Christ, also the partner of the glory which is about to be revealed).

¹⁷ that in blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is upon the sea _shore and your seed will possess the gate of his enemies

⁴ And the king said to them, What seems best to you* I will do. And the king stood by the gate-side and all the people went out by hundreds and by thousands.

¹⁷ Have the gates of death been revealed to you? Or have you seen the gates of the shadow of death?

¹³ Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah. Behold my affliction from those who hate me, you who lifts me up from the gates of death

¹² Those who sit at the gate talk of me and I am the song of the drunkards.

¹⁸ Their soul abhors all manner of food and they draw near to the gates of death.

¹ Those who trust in Jehovah are as Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken, but abides everlasting. ² As the mountains are all around Jerusalem, so Jehovah is all around his people from this time forth and until forever.

⁵ The man who has his quiver full of them is fortunate. They will not be put to shame because they speak with their enemies in the gate.

⁷ Wisdom is too high for a fool. He opens not his mouth in the gate.

⁶ and a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment and strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.

¹⁶ Therefore thus says the lord Jehovah, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation, a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner- stone, a sure foundation. He who believes in him will never be shamed.

¹⁰ I said, In the noontide of my days I will go into the gates of Sheol. I am deprived of the residue of my years.

¹⁷ No weapon that is formed against you will prosper. And every tongue that will rise against you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Jehovah and their righteousness which is of me, says Jehovah.

¹² And speak to him, saying, Thus speaks Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold, the man whose name is the Branch. And he will grow up out of his place and he will build the temple of Jehovah, ¹³ even he will build the temple of Jehovah. And he will bear the glory and will sit and rule upon his throne. And he will be a priest upon his throne and the counsel of peace will be between them both.

² Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: the first is Simon, who is called Peter and Andrew his brother; James and John his brother, the sons of Zebedee;

²³ And you, Capernaum, who has been exalted to heaven, you will be stepping down to Hades, because if the miracles had happened in Sodom which have happened in you, it would have remained till today.

¹⁷ But if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the congregation, and if he also refuses to hear the congregation, let him be just-like the Gentile and the tax collector to you.

²⁷ My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they are following me, ²⁸ and I give to them everlasting life, and they may never perish and not anyone will be taking them out of my hand. ²⁹ My Father, who has given them to me, he is greater than all, and no one is able to take them out of my Father’s hand. ³⁰ I and the Father are one.

⁴⁷ praising God, and having favor toward the whole people. Now the Lord was adding to the congregation of believers those who are saved every day.

¹ Now Saul was consenting to the assassination of him.
Now there became a great persecution in that day upon the congregation which was in Jerusalem, and they were all dispersed throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.

³³ Who shall accuse anything against God’s chosen? It is God who makes righteous. ³⁴ Who is the one who condemns? Christ is the one who died, but rather, who was also raised up from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also is petitioning on our behalf.
³⁵ Who will be separating us away from the love of Christ? Shall affliction or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword? ³⁶ Just-as it has been written, ‘Because of you we are slain the whole day. We were counted as sheep of the slaughter.’ ³⁷ But we are victorious in all these things through the one who loved us. ³⁸ For I have confidence, that neither death, nor life, nor messengers, nor principalities, nor powers, nor present things, nor future things, ³⁹ nor height, nor depth, nor some other created thing, will be able to separate us away from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁹ For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s cultivation, God’s building.
¹⁰ According to the grace of God which was given to me, I have laid a foundation like a wise expert-builder, and another is building upon it. But let each one beware how he is building upon it. ¹¹ For no one is able to lay another foundation beside what is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

⁵⁵ O death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?

⁹ And having known the grace which was given to me, James and Cephas and John, (those reputed to be pillars), gave to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, that indeed we should go to the Gentiles but they should go to the circumcision,

¹⁹ Therefore consequently, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens of the holy-ones and members of the household of God, ²⁰ having been built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone; ²¹ in whom all the building, fitly framed together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord; ²² in whom you are also built together into a residence of God in the Spirit.

¹⁰ in order that now the multifaceted wisdom of God might be made known to the principalities and the authorities in the heavenly places through the congregation of believers. \ulnone\nosupersub

²⁵ The husbands, love^*\'b0 your own wives, just-as the Christ also loved the congregation and gave himself up on her behalf; ²⁶ in order that he might make her holy, having cleansed her in the full-washing of the water in the word, ²⁷ in order that he might present her to himself, the glorious congregation, not having stain or wrinkle or any such things, but in order that she should be holy and unblemished.

³² This mystery is great, but I am speaking in regard to Christ and in regard to the congregation of believers.

¹⁸ And he is the head of the body, the congregation of believers; who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, in order that he might become foremost in all things.

⁵ (but if anyone does not know how to govern his own house, how will he be caring for the congregation of God?;)

³ For he has been deemed worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as the one who constructed the house has more honor than the house. ⁴ For every house is constructed by someone, but the one who constructed all things is God.

²⁸ Hence, receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us have gratitude, through which we give-divine service in ways well pleasing to God, with reverence and piety;

¹⁵ And the seventh messenger sounded, and there became loud voices in heaven saying, The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ and he will be reigning forevermore.

¹ And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and there is no sea anymore. ² And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from heaven of God, having been prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. ³ And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men and he will be residing with them and they will be his people and God will be with them. ⁴ And he will be wiping-away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no death anymore. There will be no mourning, no crying, no pain anymore because the first things have passed away.

¹⁴ And the wall of the city had twelve foundations and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

²² And I will lay the key of the house of David upon his shoulder and he will open and none will shut and he will shut and none will open.

¹⁸ Assuredly, I am saying to you again, As many things as you may bind upon the earth will have already been bound in heaven, and as many things as you may loose upon earth will have already been loosed in heaven.

²³ If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven to them by God; if you hold-fast anyone’s sins, those sins have been held-fast.

¹⁴ But Peter, standing up together with the eleven, lifted up his voice and spoke out to them, saying, Men, Jews and all you who are dwelling in Jerusalem, let this be known to you and notice my words. ¹⁵ For these men are not drunken, as you take it to be; for it is only the third hour of the day. ¹⁶ But this is what has been spoken through the prophet Joel, ¹⁷ God says, ‘And it will be in the last days, I will pour out from My Spirit upon all flesh and your sons and your daughters will prophesy and your young-men will see visions and your elderly-men will dream dreams. ¹⁸ For-sure, I will pour out of my Spirit upon my male bondservants and upon my female bondservants in those days, and they will prophesy. ¹⁹ And I will be giving you wonders in the heaven above and signs upon the earth below; blood and fire and vapor of smoke. ²⁰ The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and illustrious day of the Lord comes. ²¹ And it will be, that everyone, whoever calls upon the name of the Lord, will be saved.’
²² Men, Israelites! Hear these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man from God, having been shown to you by miracles and wonders and signs which God did through him in your midst, just-as you yourselves also know; ²³ being given up by what had been determined by the plan and foreknowledge of God, you assassinated him, having taken him and fastened him to a cross through lawless hands; ²⁴ whom God raised up, having loosed the travails of death, insomuch as it was not possible for him to be held-fast by it. ²⁵ For David says in regard to him, ‘I am seeing the Lord always before my face, in my sight, because he is at my right hand, in order that I might not be shaken. ²⁶ Because of this, my heart was joyous and my tongue was glad. Now my flesh will also reside in hope; ²⁷ because you will not forsake my soul to Hades, neither will you give your Holy One to see decay. ²⁸ You made known to me the ways of life. You will fill me with joy with your countenance.’ ²⁹ Brethren, it is legal for me to speak publicly to you concerning the patriarch David, that he is both dead and was buried and his tomb is among us to this day. ³⁰ Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that from the fruit of his loins, to raise up the Christ according to the flesh to sit upon his throne. ³¹ Foreseeing this, he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was his soul left to Hades, nor did his flesh see decay. ³² This Jesus, God raised up, of whom we are all witnesses. ³³ Therefore having been exalted by the right hand of God, and having received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, he has poured out this, which you are seeing and hearing now. ³⁴ For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself says, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand, ³⁵ until I should place your enemies as the footstool of your feet.’ ³⁶ Therefore, let all the house of Israel know with certainty, that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.
³⁷ Now when they heard this, they were pierced in their heart and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?
³⁸ Now Peter said to them, Repent and be immersed each one of you in the name of Jesus Christ into the forgiveness of your sins, and you will be receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit. \super{F} ³⁹ For the promise is to you and to your children and to all those at afar off, as many as the Lord our God may call. ⁴⁰ Now he was thoroughly testifying and encouraging them with many other words, saying, Save yourselves from this crooked generation. ⁴¹ Therefore indeed, they, who gladly accepted his word, were immersed, and approximately three thousand souls was added to them in that day. ⁴² Now they were persevering in the apostles’teaching and in fellowship and in the breaking of the bread and in prayers.

³⁴ Now Peter opened his mouth and said, In truth, I comprehend that God is not one who shows-favoritism ³⁵ but in every nation, he who fears him and is working righteousness, is acceptable to him. ³⁶ The word which he sent to the sons of Israel, proclaiming the good-news of peace through Jesus Christ (this one is Lord of all). ³⁷ You know, the word concerning Jesus which happened throughout the whole of Judea, beginning from Galilee, after the immersion that John preached. ³⁸ Jesus who was from Nazareth; how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went through out the land working good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with him. ³⁹ And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the region of the Jews and in Jerusalem–whom they also assassinated, having hung him upon a tree. ⁴⁰ God raised this one up on the third day and gave him to become manifest, ⁴¹ not to all the people, but to witnesses that have been assigned before by God, even to us, who ate and drank together with him after he rose up from the dead. ⁴² And he commanded us to preach to the people and to thoroughly testify that he is the one who has been determined by God to be judge of the living and the dead. ⁴³ To this one, all the prophets are testifying, that through his name everyone who believes in him will be receiving forgiveness of sins.

⁷ Now after much debate had happened, Peter standing up, said to them, Brethren, you know that from the days of old among us, God chose through my mouth, that the Gentiles were to hear the word of the good-news and to believe it.

⁴ in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. When you and my spirit are gathered together, together with the power of our Lord Jesus, ⁵ to give such a one to the Adversary for the utter-destruction of the flesh, in order that the spirit might be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

¹⁰ But to whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For what I have also forgiven, ( him of whom I have forgiven is because of you), I have forgiven in the face of Christ;

⁸ Therefore, the one who is rejecting this is not rejecting man, but God, who also gives his Holy Spirit to you.

¹⁸ and the Living One, and I became dead and behold, I am living forevermore and I have the keys of death and of Hades. Amen.

⁷ And write to the messenger of the congregation in Philadelphia:
He (the holy one, the true one, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will lock, except he who opens and no one will open) says these things:

¹ And the fifth messenger sounded and I saw a star from heaven has fallen to the earth and the key of the pit of the abyss was given to him.

⁶ These have the authority to lock the heaven, in order that no rainfall may rain on the days of their prophecy and they have authority over the waters to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of wound, whenever they will it.

¹ And I saw a messenger coming down from heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. ² And he took-hold of the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil and the Adversary, the one who is misleading the whole inhabited-earth and bound him a thousand years, ³ and cast him into the abyss and locked it and sealed it above him, in order that he may not mislead the nations anymore, till the thousand years might be completed. It is essential for him to be loosed for a little time after these things.

⁴ And Jesus says to him, See that you speak to no one, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.

⁹ And while coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, Tell the vision to no one, until the Son of Man should rise from the dead.

³⁰ And he rebuked them in order that they should speak to no one concerning him.

⁹ Now while coming down from the mountain, he ordered them in order that they should describe to no one what they saw, except whenever the Son of Man rises up from the dead.

²¹ But he rebuked and commanded them to tell this thing to no one,

³⁶ And while the voice happened, Jesus was found alone. And they were silent and reported to no one in those days, any of the things which they had seen.

⁴¹ This one finds first his own brother Simon and says to him, We have found the Messiah (which is, after being translated, The Christ).

⁴⁵ Philip finds Nathanael and says to him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law and the prophets wrote, Jesus from Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

³⁶ Therefore, let all the house of Israel know with certainty, that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.

²² Who is the liar except he who is denying that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who is denying the Father and the Son.

¹ Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born from God and everyone who loves the one who fathered us, also loves the one who has been born from him.

¹ And the divisions of the sons of Aaron were these. The sons of Aaron: Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. ² But Nadab and Abihu died before their father and had no sons. Therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest's office. ³ And David with Zadok of the sons of Eleazar and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, divided them according to their ordering in their service. ⁴ And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar. And thus were they divided: of the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen heads of fathers' houses and of the sons of Ithamar, according to their fathers' houses, eight.
⁵ Thus they were divided by lot, one sort with another. For there were rulers of the sanctuary and rulers for God, both of the sons of Eleazar and of the sons of Ithamar. ⁶ And Shemaiah the son of Nethanel the scribe, who was of the Levites, wrote them in the presence of the king and the princes and Zadok the priest and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar and the heads of the fathers of the priests and of the Levites, one fathers' house being taken for Eleazar and one taken for Ithamar.
⁷ Now the first lot came out to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah, ⁸ the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim, ⁹ the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin, ¹⁰ the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah, ¹¹ the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah, ¹² the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim, ¹³ the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab, ¹⁴ the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer, ¹⁵ the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez, ¹⁶ the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezkel, ¹⁷ the twenty-first to Jachin, the twenty-second to Gamul, ¹⁸ the twenty-third to Delaiah, the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.
¹⁹ This was the ordering of them in their service, to come into the house of Jehovah according to the ordinance given to them by Aaron their father, as Jehovah, the God of Israel, had commanded him.

⁷ Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These were the chiefs of the priests and of their brothers in the days of Jeshua.

²⁸ Assuredly I am saying to you, Some of those who are standing here may never taste of death, until they should see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.

¹² But I am saying to you, that Elijah already came, and they did not recognize him, but did as many things as they wished to him. So the Son of Man is also about to suffer by them.

²² Now while conducting work in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of Man is about to be given up into the hands of men; ²³ and they will be killing him, and he will be arisen in the third day. And they were extremely sorrowful.

¹⁷ And while going up to Jerusalem, Jesus took the twelve disciples privately by the road and he said to them, ¹⁸ Behold, we go into Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be given up to the high-priests and scribes, and they will be condemning him to death, ¹⁹ and they will be giving him to the Gentiles, that they should mock and scourge and crucify him, and in the third day he will rise again.

²⁸ just-like the Son of Man did not come to be served to, but to serve and to give his life as a redemption in exchange-for many.

² You know that after two days the Passover happens and the Son of Man is given up, that he might be crucified.

⁴⁷ And while still speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve, came and with him a large crowd with swords and clubs, from the high-priest and elders of the people.

¹² And while he was accused by the high-priests and the elders, he answered nothing.

⁶³ saying, Lord, we remember what that misleader said, while still living, I will arise after three days.

³¹ And he began to teach them, that it is essential for the Son of Man to suffer many things and to be rejected by the elders and the high-priests and the scribes, and be killed, and to rise up after three days.

³¹ For he was teaching his disciples and was saying to them, The Son of Man is to be given up into the hands of men, and they will be killing him, and having been killed, he will be risen in the third day. ³² But they were not considering the declaration, and were afraid to ask him.

³² Now they were on the road, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was leading them and they were being amazed, and following, were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them the things which are about to befall him, ³³ saying, Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be given up to the high-priests and the scribes, and they will be condemning him to death and will be giving him to the Gentiles, ³⁴ and they will be mocking him and will be scourging him and will be spitting on him and will be killing him, and he will rise up in the third day.

²² saying, It is essential for the Son of Man to suffer many things, and to be rejected by the elders and high-priests and scribes, and to be killed and to rise in the third day.
²³ Now he said to all, If anyone wishes to come after me, let him deny himself, and lift up his cross and follow me. ²⁴ For whoever wishes to save his life will be losing it, but whoever loses his life because of me, this one will be saving it. ²⁵ For what is a man profited, having gained the whole world, but has lost or forfeited himself? ²⁶ For whoever is ashamed of me, and of my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him whenever he comes in his own glory, and the glory of the Father and of the holy messengers. ²⁷ But I tell you truly, There are some of those who are standing here, who may never taste of death, until they should see the kingdom of God.

³¹ who appeared in glory, and were telling of his exodus which he was about to fulfill in Jerusalem.

⁴⁴ Place these words into your ears; for the Son of Man is about to be given up into the hands of men. ⁴⁵ But they were not considering this declaration, and it was hiding from them, in order that they might not comprehend it, and they were afraid to ask him concerning this declaration.

²⁵ But first it is essential for him to suffer many things and to be rejected by this generation.

³¹ Now having taken the twelve with him and said to them, Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things which have been written through the prophets will be completed by the Son of Man. ³² For he will be given up to the Gentiles, and will be mocked and will be insulted and will be spit on; ³³ and having scourged, they will be killing him, and he will be rising up in the third day. ³⁴ And they understood none of these things, and this declaration was being hidden from them, and they did not know the things which were said.

⁶ He is not here, but was raised. Remember how he spoke to you, being still in Galilee, ⁷ saying that it is essential for the Son of Man to be given up into the hands of sinful men and to be crucified and to rise up in the third day?

⁴⁶ And he said to them, Thus it has been written, that it was essential for the Christ to suffer and to rise up from the dead in the third day;

¹⁹ Jesus answered and said to them, Tear-down this temple and I will be lifting it up in three days.
²⁰ Therefore the Jews said, This temple was built in forty-six years and you will be lifting it up in three days? ²¹ But that he spoke concerning the temple of his body.

²³ being given up by what had been determined by the plan and foreknowledge of God, you assassinated him, having taken him and fastened him to a cross through lawless hands; ²⁴ whom God raised up, having loosed the travails of death, insomuch as it was not possible for him to be held-fast by it. ²⁵ For David says in regard to him, ‘I am seeing the Lord always before my face, in my sight, because he is at my right hand, in order that I might not be shaken. ²⁶ Because of this, my heart was joyous and my tongue was glad. Now my flesh will also reside in hope; ²⁷ because you will not forsake my soul to Hades, neither will you give your Holy One to see decay. ²⁸ You made known to me the ways of life. You will fill me with joy with your countenance.’ ²⁹ Brethren, it is legal for me to speak publicly to you concerning the patriarch David, that he is both dead and was buried and his tomb is among us to this day. ³⁰ Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that from the fruit of his loins, to raise up the Christ according to the flesh to sit upon his throne. ³¹ Foreseeing this, he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was his soul left to Hades, nor did his flesh see decay. ³² This Jesus, God raised up, of whom we are all witnesses.

³ For I gave to you first, what I also received: that Christ died on behalf of our sins according to the Scriptures; ⁴ and that he was buried, and that he has been raised up on the third day according to the Scriptures.

¹³ And the messenger who went to call Micaiah spoke to him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good to the king with one mouth. I beseech you, let your word be like the word of one of them and speak good.

¹⁶ Now Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
¹⁷ And Jesus answered and said to him, You are fortunate, Simon, Son of Jonah, because flesh and blood has not revealed it to you, but my Father, the one in the heavens.

⁵¹ And behold, one of those who was with Jesus stretched out his hand and pulled his sword, and struck the bondservant of the high-priest, and took off his ear. ⁵² Then Jesus says to him, Return your sword into its place; for all those who take up the sword will be perishing with the sword. ⁵³ Or do you think that I am not able now to plead with my Father and he will not stand beside me with more than twelve legions of messengers?

³² And he was speaking the word frankly. And Peter took him and began to rebuke him.

⁶ Therefore, he comes to Simon Peter and that man says to him, Lord, why are you washing my feet?
⁷ Jesus answered and said to him, What I do you do not know now, but you will know after these things.
⁸ Peter says to him, Never wash my feet.
Jesus answered him, If I do not wash you, you have no part with me.

¹¹ And he came to us and took Paul’s belt, and having bound his own feet and hands, said, The Holy Spirit says these things, The Jews in Jerusalem will be binding thus the man whose belt this is, and will be giving him up into the hands of the Gentiles. ¹² Now as we heard these things, both we and those locally were pleading with him not to go into Jerusalem.
¹³ But Paul answered, What are you doing, weeping and crushing my heart? For I am not only ready to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem on behalf of the name of the Lord Jesus.

¹ Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said to the woman, Yes, because God has said, You will not eat of any tree of the garden? ² And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden, ³ but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, You will not eat of it, nor will you* touch it, lest you* die.
⁴ And the serpent said to the woman, You will not surely die. ⁵ For God knows that in the day you* eat of it, then your* eyes will be opened and you* will be like God, knowing good and evil.
⁶ And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was a delight to the eyes and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate. And she also gave to her husband with her and he ate.

¹⁷ And to Adam he said, Because you have obeyed the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you, saying, You will not eat of it, cursed is the ground for your sake. You will eat of it in toil all the days of your life.

²² And David said, What have I to do with you*, you* sons of Zeruiah, that you* should this day be adversaries to me? Shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel? For I do not know that I am this day king over Israel?

¹ And Satan stood up against Israel and moved David to number Israel.

¹⁴ And he will be for a sanctuary, but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offense to both the houses of Israel, for a net and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

¹ And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the messenger of Jehovah and Satan standing at his right hand to be his adversary. ² And Jehovah said to Satan, Jehovah rebuke you, O Satan. Yes, Jehovah who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you. Is this not a brand plucked out of the fire?

¹⁰ Then Jesus says to him, Go behind me, Adversary! For it has been written, ‘You will worship the Lord your God and you will give-divine service to him only.’

⁷ Woe to the world from the coming offenses! For it is a necessity for the offenses to come; however, woe to that man through whom the offense comes!

³³ But he turning again, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, saying, Go behind me, adversary, because you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.

⁸ And Jesus answered and said to him, Go behind me, Adversary! It has been written, ‘You will be worshiping the Lord your God and you will be giving-divine service to him only.’

⁷⁰ He answered them, Did I not choose you the twelve and one out of you is a slanderer?

⁵ For those who are according to the flesh are mindful of the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit are mindful of the things of the Spirit. ⁶ For the mindset of the flesh is death, but the mindset of the Spirit is life and peace; ⁷ because the mindset of the flesh is hostility toward God; for it is not subject to the law of God, for neither is it able to be; ⁸ and those who are in the flesh are not able to please God.

¹³ Therefore we should no longer judge one another, but rather judge this: you are not to place a stumbling block, or offense, in the way of the brother.

²¹ It is good not to eat meats, nor to drink wine, nor anything in which your brother stumbles or is offended or is weak.

¹⁴ Now the physical man is not accepting the things from the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to know them, because they are spiritually examined. ¹⁵ But the spiritual one is indeed examining all things, but he himself is examined by no one.

¹⁴ And it is not a marvelous thing; for even the Adversary fashions himself into a messenger of light. ¹⁵ Therefore, it is no great thing if his servants are also fashioned like servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

¹⁹ whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly and whose glory is in their shame, who are mindful of earthly things.

² Be mindful of the things which are above, not the things which are upon the earth.

³⁸ Now he who is not taking up his cross and following after me, is not worthy of me.

³² Now while going out, they found a man from Cyrene, Simon by name. They compelled this one to go with them, in order that he might lift up his cross.

³⁴ And having called the crowd together with his disciples to him, he said to them, Whoever wishes to follow after me, let him deny himself, and lift up his cross and follow me.

²¹ Now Jesus looking at him, loved him, and said to him, You are lacking in one thing. Go, sell as many things as you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. And come-here, follow me, having lifted up your cross.

²¹ And they compel a certain one passing by, Simon from Cyrene, coming from the rural-area, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to go with them, in order that he might lift up his cross.

²⁷ And whoever does not bear his own cross, and comes after me, is not able to be my disciple.

²⁶ And as they led him away, they grabbed someone named Simon from Cyrene, coming from the rural-area, and they laid the cross on him to carry it behind Jesus.

¹⁷ And he went out, bearing his cross, to the place called, The Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha,

²² further strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to remain in the faith, and that it is essential for us through many afflictions to enter into the kingdom of God.

²⁴ Now I am rejoicing in my sufferings on your behalf and I am filling up in my flesh, the things lacking of the afflictions of the Christ on behalf of his body, which is the congregation of believers;

³ that no one be shook up in these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we are destined for this thing.

¹² But even all who wish to live devoutly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

²⁴ In faith, Moses, having become great, denied to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; ²⁵ having selected for himself to be mistreated together with the people of God rather than to have temporary enjoyment of sin, ²⁶ having deemed the reproach of the Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he was looking toward the reward.

¹ Therefore, Christ having suffered on our behalf who are in the flesh, (you also weaponize yourselves with the same mind), because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin; ² that you should no longer have your life, (the rest of your time in the flesh), in the lusts of men, but in the will of God.

¹⁴ For if you altogether keep quiet at this time, then relief and deliverance will arise to the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

¹⁶ Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan and fast you* for me and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day. I also and my maidens will fast in like manner. And so I will go in to the king, which is not according to the law. And if I perish, I perish.

³⁹ He who has found his life will be losing it, and he who has lost his life because of me will be finding it.

³⁵ For whoever wishes to save his life will be losing it, and whoever loses his life because of me and because of the good-news, this one will be saving it.

³³ Whoever seeks to save his life will be losing it, but whoever loses it will be preserving it.

²⁵ He who loves his life will be losing it, and he who hates his life in this world will be keeping it to everlasting life.

²³ except that the Holy Spirit is thoroughly testifying to me in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions are remaining for me. ²⁴ But I make account of nothing, nor am I holding my life as precious to myself, as I desire to complete my course with joy, and the service which I received from the Lord Jesus, to thoroughly testify the good-news of the favor of God.

¹¹ And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even to death.

⁴ And Satan answered Jehovah and said, Skin for skin, yes, all that a man has he will give for his life.

⁸ For what is the hope of the profane, though he gets him gain, when God takes away his soul?

⁷ none can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him ⁸ (for the redemption of their life is costly and it fails everlasting),

⁸ Again, the devil takes him to an exceedingly high mountain, and shows him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; ⁹ and I will be giving you all these things, if you fall down and worship me.

²⁹ Now if your right eye is offending you, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is advantageous for you, that one of your members should perish and not that your whole body should be cast into hell.

³⁶ For what will it profit a man, if he has gained the whole world and should forfeit his soul? ³⁷ Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

²⁵ For what is a man profited, having gained the whole world, but has lost or forfeited himself?

²⁰ But God said to him, Fool, your soul is asked back from you in this night, and the things which you prepared, whose will they be?

²⁵ But Abraham said, Child, remember that you received your good things in your life and Lazarus likewise evil things, but now he is comforted here and you are in anguish.

¹¹ For the work of a man he will render to him and cause every man to find according to his ways.

¹² Also to you, O Lord, belongs loving kindness, because you render to every man according to his work.

¹² If you say, Behold, we did not know this, Does not he who weighs the hearts consider it? And he who keeps your soul, does he not know it? And will not he render to every man according to his work?

¹⁰ Say you* of the righteous, that it is well, for they will eat the fruit of their practices. ¹¹ Woe to the wicked! It is ill with him, for what his hands have done will be done to him.

¹⁰ I, Jehovah, search the mind. I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his practices.

¹⁹ great in counsel and mighty in work, whose eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men, to give everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his practices,

²⁷ The king will mourn and the ruler will be clothed with desolation and the hands of the people of the land will be troubled. I will do to them according to their way and according to their deserts I will judge them.
And they will know that I am Jehovah.

¹⁰ A fiery stream was streaming and came out from before him. Thousands of thousands ministered to him and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The judgment was set and the books were opened.

⁵ And you* will flee by the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel. Yes, you* will flee, just as you* fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. And Jehovah my God will come and all the holy ones with you.

⁴¹ He who accepts a prophet in the name of a prophet, will be receiving a prophet’s reward, and he who accepts a righteous man in the name of a righteous man, will be receiving a righteous man’s reward. ⁴² And whoever gives only a cup of cold water to drink to one of these little ones, in the name of a disciple, assuredly I am saying to you, He may never lose his reward.

⁴⁹ So it will be in the end of the world; the messengers will be going out and separate the evil from the midst of the righteous,

³⁰ and then the sign of the Son of Man will be appearing in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will be grieving, and they will be seeing the Son of Man coming upon the clouds of heaven with power and with much glory.

⁶⁴ Jesus said to him, You have said so. However I am saying to you, From now on, you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of power, and coming upon the clouds of heaven.

⁶² But Jesus said, I am, and you will be seeing the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of power and coming with the clouds of heaven.

²⁶ For whoever is ashamed of me, and of my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him whenever he comes in his own glory, and the glory of the Father and of the holy messengers.

²⁷ And then they will be seeing the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and much glory.

⁶⁹ From hereafter, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.

¹¹ who also said, Men, Galileans! Why are you standing here, looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was received up from you into heaven will be coming back thus in the manner you saw him traveling on into heaven.

⁶ who will ‘repay to each according to his works.’

¹² Therefore consequently, each of us will be giving an account concerning himself to God.

⁸ But food does not present us to God; for neither if we eat, do we abound? Nor, if we do not eat, are we lacking?

¹⁰ For it is essential for all of us to appear before the judicial-seat of the Christ; in order that each one may get back the things done in the body, for what he practiced, whether good or evil.

⁸ Knowing that whatever good thing each one practices, he will be getting this from the Lord, whether bondservant or free man.

¹⁰ and to await his Son Jesus from the heavens, whom he raised up from the dead; who rescues us from the coming wrath.

¹⁶ Because the Lord himself will be coming down from heaven, in a commanding yell, in the voice of the archangel and at the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be rising up first;

⁷ and to you who are afflicted with us, a rest at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with the messengers of his power, ⁸ giving vengeance in a fire of flame to those who do not know God and to those who are not obeying the good-news of our Lord Jesus Christ, ⁹ who will be suffering-punishment, the sentence of everlasting utter-destruction away from the face of the Lord, and away from the glory of his strength, ¹⁰ whenever he may come to be glorified in his holy-ones, and to be marveled at in that day in all those who have believed, (because our testimony to you was believed).

¹⁷ And if you call upon the Father, who impartially judges according to the work of each one, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your foreign residency here;

¹⁴ Now Enoch, seventh from Adam, also prophesied about these people, saying, Behold, the Lord came in among tens of thousands of his holy-ones,

⁷ Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will be seeing him and those who stabbed him, and all the tribes of the earth will be grieving over him. Yes he comes, Amen.

¹² And I saw the dead, the greatest and the least, standing in the sight of the throne, and books were opened and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life and the dead were judged out of the things which have been written in the books, according to their works.

¹² Behold, I am coming shortly, and my reward is with me, to give to each one as his work will be. ¹³ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
¹⁴ The fortunate ones are practicing his commandments, in order that their authority will be in the Tree of Life and they may enter in by the gates into the city.
¹⁵ The dogs and the sorcerers and the fornicators and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices a lie are outside.

²³ But whenever they persecute you in this city, flee into another; for assuredly I am saying to you, You may never complete the cities of Israel, until the Son of Man should come.

³ Now when he sat upon the Mountain of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of your presence and of the end of the world?

²⁷ For just-like the lightning comes from the east and appears even to the west; so also will be the presence of the Son of Man.
²⁸ For wherever the corpse is, the vultures will be gathered together there.

⁴² Therefore watch, because you do not know in what hour your Lord is coming.

¹ And he was saying to them, Assuredly I am saying to you, There are some of those standing here, who may never taste of death, until they should see the kingdom of God having come in power.

²⁶ And then they will be seeing the Son of Man coming in the clouds with much power and glory.

²⁶ And it was divinely-spoken to him from the Holy Spirit, that he should not see death, before he should see the Lord’s Christ.

²⁷ But I tell you truly, There are some of those who are standing here, who may never taste of death, until they should see the kingdom of God.

⁸ I say to you, that he will be doing the avenging on them quickly.
However, when the Son of Man comes, will he then be finding the faith upon the earth?

²⁷ And then they will be seeing the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and much glory. ²⁸ But when these things are beginning to happen, stand-erect and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.

⁵² The Jews said to him, Now we have known that you have a demon. Abraham died and the prophets, and you say, If anyone keeps my word, he may never taste of death forever.

⁹ But we see Jesus who has been made a bit of something inferior, less than the messengers, having been crowned with glory and honor, because of the suffering of the death he underwent, that in the grace from God, he should taste of death on behalf of everyone.
