And they will be for places for staves with which to bear it. 5 And you will make the staves of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. 6 And you will put it before the veil that is by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy-seat that is over the testimony, where I will meet with you.
7 And Aaron will burn in it incense of sweet spices. Every morning, when he dresses the lamps, he will burn it. 8 And when Aaron lights the lamps at evening, he will burn it, a perpetual incense before Jehovah throughout your* genealogy. 9 You* will offer no strange incense on it, nor burnt offering, nor meal offering. And you* will pour no drink offering on it.

Exodus 30:34-36

34 And Jehovah said to Moses, Take to you sweet spices, stacte and onycha and galbanum, sweet spices with pure frankincense, of each there will be a like weight. 35 And you will make of it incense, a perfume after the art of the perfumer, seasoned with salt, pure and holy. 36 And you will beat some of it very small and put of it before the testimony in the tent of meeting, where I will meet with you. It will be to you* most holy.

Exodus 31:11

Numbers 16:46
