¹ Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of Jehovah been revealed?

⁵ And the glory of Jehovah will be revealed and all flesh will see it together. For the mouth of Jehovah has spoken it.

⁹ Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of Jehovah. Awake, as in the days of long-ago, the generations of everlasting. Is it not you who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the monster?

¹⁰ Jehovah has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations and all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

⁸ Jehovah has sworn by his right hand and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give your grain to be food for your enemies and foreigners will not drink your new wine, for which you have labored.

²⁵ Jesus answered and said at that time, I profess you, O Father, Lord of heaven and the earth, that you hid these things from the wise and intelligent and revealed them to infants.

¹⁷ And Jesus answered and said to him, You are fortunate, Simon, Son of Jonah, because flesh and blood has not revealed it to you, but my Father, the one in the heavens.

⁷ This one came to be a witness, in order that he might testify concerning the light, in order that all should believe through him.

¹² But as many as received him, he gave to them the authority to become children of God, to the believing ones in his name,

³⁸ in order that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, ‘Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?’

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the good-news of the Christ; for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes; both to the Jew first and to the Greek. ¹⁷ For the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to
¹⁸ For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven upon all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men and upon those holding back the truth in unrighteousness;

¹⁶ But not all obeyed the good-news; for Isaiah says, ‘Lord, who has believed our report?’ ¹⁷ Consequently, the faith comes from our report but our report comes through the declaration of God.

¹⁸ For the account of the cross is indeed foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are saved–it is the power of God.

²⁴ but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.

¹⁸ the eyes of your heart having been enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance among the holy-ones, ¹⁹ and what is the surpassing greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of the dominion of his strength,
