¹⁶ From the outermost part of the earth we have heard songs. Glory to the righteous.
But I said, I pine away, I pine away. Woe is me! The treacherous have dealt treacherously, yes, the treacherous have dealt very treacherously.

¹¹ Who is like you, O Jehovah, among the gods? Who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

⁸ Ask of me and I will give you the nations as your inheritance and the outermost parts of the earth as your possession.

²⁷ All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to Jehovah and all the kinfolk of the nations will worship before you. ²⁸ Because the kingdom is Jehovah's and he is the ruler over the nations.
²⁹ All the fat ones of the earth will eat and worship. All those who go down to the dust will bow before him, even he who cannot keep his soul alive. ³⁰ A seed will serve him. It will be told of the Lord to the next generation. ³¹ They will come and will declare his righteousness to a people that will be born, that he has done it.

¹⁰ A righteous man will rejoice because he sees the vengeance. He will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked,

⁷ God will bless us and all the ends of the earth will fear him.

⁸ He will also have dominion from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.
⁹ Those who dwell in the wilderness will bow before him and his enemies will lick the dust.
¹⁰ The kings of Tarshish and of the isles will render tribute. The kings of Sheba and Seba will offer gifts. ¹¹ Yes, all kings will fall down before him. All nations will serve him.

³ He has remembered his loving kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

¹⁵ And he gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul.

¹ O give thanks to Jehovah. Because he is good, because his loving kindness is everlasting. ² Let the redeemed of Jehovah say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary, ³ and gathered out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.
⁴ They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way. They found no city of habitation. ⁵ Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
⁶ Then they cried to Jehovah in their trouble and he delivered them out of their distresses. ⁷ He also led them by a straight way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
⁸ O that men would praise Jehovah for his loving kindness and for his wonderful works to the sons of men!
⁹ Because he satisfies the longing soul and he fills the hungry soul with good, ¹⁰ even those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron, ¹¹ because they rebelled against the words of God and scorned the counsel of the Most High.
¹² Therefore he brought down their heart with labor. They fell down and there was none to help.
¹³ Then they cried to Jehovah in their trouble and he saved them out of their distresses. ¹⁴ He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and broke their bonds apart.
¹⁵ O that men would praise Jehovah for his loving kindness and for his wonderful works to the sons of men!
¹⁶ Because he has broken the gates of brass and cut the bars of iron apart. ¹⁷ Fools are afflicted because of their transgression and because of their iniquities. ¹⁸ Their soul abhors all manner of food and they draw near to the gates of death.
¹⁹ Then they cry to Jehovah in their trouble and he saves them out of their distresses. ²⁰ He sends his word and heals them and delivers them from their destructions.
²¹ O that men would praise Jehovah for his loving kindness and for his wonderful works to the sons of men! ²² And let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving and declare his works with singing.
²³ Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business in great waters, ²⁴ these men see the works of Jehovah and his wonders in the deep.
²⁵ For he commands and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up the waves of it. ²⁶ They mountain up to the heavens, they go down again to the depths. Their soul melts away because of trouble. ²⁷ They reel to and fro and stagger like a drunken man and are at their wits' end.
²⁸ Then they cry to Jehovah in their trouble and he brings them out of their distresses. ²⁹ He makes the storm a calm, so that the waves of it are still. ³⁰ Then they are glad because they are quiet, so he brings them to their desired haven.
³¹ O that men would praise Jehovah for his loving kindness and for his wonderful works to the sons of men! ³² Let them also exalt him in the assembly of the people and praise him in the seat of the elders.
³³ He turns rivers into a wilderness and water springs into a thirsty ground, ³⁴ a fruitful land into a salt desert, for the wickedness of those who dwell in it.
³⁵ He turns a wilderness into a pool of water and a dry land into water springs. ³⁶ And there he makes the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city of habitation, ³⁷ and sow fields and plant vineyards and get fruits of increase.
³⁸ He also graces them, so that they are multiplied greatly and he does not allow their cattle to decrease.
³⁹ Again, they are diminished and bowed down through oppression, trouble and sorrow. ⁴⁰ He pours contempt upon rulers and makes them to wander in the waste, where there is no way.
⁴¹ Yet he sets a needy man on high from affliction and makes him families like a flock. ⁴² The upright will see it and be glad. And all unrighteousness will stop her mouth.
⁴³ He who is wise will give heed to these things and they will consider the loving kindnesses of Jehovah.

¹⁶ Therefore will the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, send among his fat ones, leanness and under his glory there will be kindled a burning like the burning of fire.

⁴ And it will happen in that day, that the glory of Jacob will be made thin and the fatness of his flesh will grow lean.

² A grievous vision is declared to me. The treacherous man deals treacherously and the destroyer destroys. Go up, O Elam. Besiege, O Media, all the sighing of it I have made to cease.

¹⁵ You have increased the nation, O Jehovah, you have increased the nation. You are glorified. You have enlarged all the borders of the land.

⁵ In that day Jehovah of hosts will become a crown of glory and a diadem of beauty, to the residue of his people,

¹ Woe to you who destroys and you were not destroyed and deal treacherously and they did not deal treacherously with you! When you have ceased to destroy, you will be destroyed and when you have made an end of dealing treacherously, they will deal treacherously with you.

²² Look to me and be you* saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God and there is none else.
²³ I have sworn by myself, the word has gone forth from my mouth in righteousness and will not return, that to me every knee will bow, every tongue will confess to God.
²⁴ Only in Jehovah, it is said of me, is righteousness and strength. Even to him men will come and all those who were incensed against him will be put to shame. ²⁵ In Jehovah all the seed of Israel will be justified and will glory.

⁸ Yes, you heard not. Yes, you did not know. Yes, from of old your ear was not opened. For I knew that you dealt very treacherously and were called a transgressor from the womb.

¹⁰ Jehovah has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations and all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

²¹ Your people also will all be righteous. They will inherit the land everlasting, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

¹⁹ And I will set a sign among them and I will send such as escape of them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the isles afar off, who have not heard my fame, nor have seen my glory and they will declare my glory among the nations.
²⁰ And they will bring all your* brothers out of all the nations for an oblation to Jehovah, upon horses and in chariots and in litters and upon mules and upon dromedaries, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says Jehovah, as the sons of Israel bring their oblation in a clean vessel into the house of Jehovah.

²⁰ Surely as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, so you* have dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, says Jehovah.

¹¹ For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, says Jehovah.

¹ You are righteous, O Jehovah, when I contend with you. Yet I would reason the case with you. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are all those at ease who deal very treacherously?

⁶ For even your brothers and the house of your father, even they have dealt treacherously with you, even they have cried aloud after you. Believe them not, though they speak fair words to you.

² She weeps bitterly in the night and her tears are on her cheeks. Among all her loved ones she has none to comfort her. All her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they have become her enemies.

⁷ They have dealt treacherously against Jehovah, for they have borne strange sons. Now the new moon will devour them with their fields.

⁷ But like Adam they have transgressed the covenant. There they have dealt treacherously against me.

⁴ And he will stand and will feed his flock in the strength of Jehovah, in the majesty of the name of Jehovah his God and they will abide. For now he will be great to the ends of the earth.

³ Why do you show me wickedness and look upon perverseness? For destruction and violence are before me and there is strife and contention rises up.

²⁷ And then he will be sending forth his messengers and will be gathering together his chosen from the four winds, from the tip of the earth to the tip of heaven.

⁴⁷ For so the Lord has commanded to us, saying, ‘I have placed you for a light of the Gentiles, that you should be for salvation to the outermost parts of the earth.’

³ And they are singing the song of Moses the bondservant of God and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are your works, O Lord God, the Almighty; your ways are righteous and true, the King of the nations.

⁵ And I heard the messenger of the waters saying, You are righteous, who is and who was, the Holy One, because you judged these things; ⁶ because they poured out the blood of holy-ones and prophets and you gave blood to them to drink because they are worthy. ⁷ And I heard from the altar saying, Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty, your judgments are true and righteous.

¹ I heard after these things, as it was a large voice of a large crowd in heaven, saying, Hallelujah! Salvation and power and glory, is from our God: ² because true and righteous are his judgments, because he has judged the great prostitute, she who was corrupting the earth in her fornication and he has avenged the blood of his bondservants from her hand.
³ And they have said a second-time, Hallelujah. And her smoke goes up forevermore.
⁴ And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who is sitting upon the throne, saying, Amen. Hallelujah.
⁵ And a voice came forth from the throne, saying, Praise our God, all his bondservants, and those who fear him, the little and the great.
⁶ And I heard as it was the voice of a large crowd and like the voice of many waters and like the voice of mighty thunders, saying, Hallelujah, because the Lord our God, the Almighty reigns.
