1 For the law, having a shadow of the future good things, (not the same image of the matters), they are never able to complete those who come near with the same continual sacrifices which they are offering every year.

11 And indeed every priest stands every day ministering and often offering the same sacrifices, which are never able to take away sins. 12 But having offered one continual sacrifice on behalf of sins, he sat down at the right hand of God; 13 furthermore waiting until his enemies should be placed under the footstool of his feet. 14 For he has completed in one continual offering those who are made holy. 15 And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after he has said beforehand, 16 ‘This is the covenant that I will covenant for them after those days, says the Lord, I will be giving my laws upon their hearts and I will write them upon their minds.’ 17 And ‘I may never remember their sins and their lawlessness anymore.’ 18 Now where the forgiveness of these is, there is no more an offering concerning sin.
