¹⁴ And Joseph said to them, This is what I spoke to you*, saying, You* are spies.

⁹ And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them. And said to them, You* are spies; you* have come to see the nakedness of the land. ¹⁰ And they said to him, No, my lord, but your servants have come to buy food. ¹¹ We are all one man's sons. We are true men. Your servants are no spies.

²⁴ Why do you hide your face and reckon me for your enemy?

¹¹ He has also kindled his wrath against me. And he considers me to him as his adversaries.

²¹ And Jesus went out from there, and departed into the parts of Tyre and Sidon.


²² And behold, a woman from Canaan came out from those borders, and cried-out to him, saying, Show-mercy to me, O Lord, you the son of David. My daughter is evilly demon-possessed. ²³ But he answered her not a word.
And his disciples came and asked him, saying, Dismiss her, because she is crying behind us.
²⁴ But he answered and said, I was not sent, except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
²⁵ But she came and worshiped him, saying, Lord, help me.
²⁶ Now he answered and said, It is not good to take the children’s bread and cast it to the puppies.
²⁷ But she said, Yes, Lord; for even the puppies eat from the crumbs which are falling from the table of their lords.
²⁸ Then Jesus answered and said to her, O woman, great is your faith. Let it happen for you as you will it. And her daughter was healed from that hour.
