¹ And afterward Moses and Aaron came and said to Pharaoh, Jehovah says thus, the God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast to me in the wilderness.

¹⁸ And they will listen to your voice. And you will come, you and the elders of Israel, to the King of Egypt and you* will say to him, Jehovah, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. And now please let us go, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to Jehovah our God.

⁹ And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go, because we must hold a feast to Jehovah.

²⁰ And Ahab said to Elijah, Have you found me, O my enemy? And he answered, I have found you because you have sold yourself to do what is evil in the sight of Jehovah.

⁴⁶ I also will speak of your testimonies before kings and will not be put to shame.

⁶ And in this mountain Jehovah of hosts will make to all peoples a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the dregs, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the dregs well refined.

⁶ And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them, nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions. Do not be afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

³ So Jonah arose and went to Nineveh, according to the word of Jehovah. Now Nineveh was an exceedingly great city, of three days' journey. ⁴ And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey. And he cried out and said, Yet forty days and Nineveh will be overthrown.

¹⁸ and you will also be led in front of governors and kings because of me, for a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.

²⁸ And do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear the one who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

²⁹ And hereafter, Lord, look upon their threats and give to your bondservants to speak your word with all boldness,

⁸ So-then we should celebrate a festival, not in old leaven, nor in the leaven of malice and wickedness, but in the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
