¹² And you will put the two stones upon the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the sons of Israel. And Aaron will bear their names before Jehovah upon his two shoulders for a memorial.

¹² And God said, This is the sign of the covenant which I make between me and you* and every living creature that is with you*, everlasting. ¹³ I set my bow in the cloud and it will be for a sign of a covenant between me and the earth. ¹⁴ And it will happen, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow will be seen in the cloud. ¹⁵ And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you* and every living creature of all flesh. And the waters will no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. ¹⁶ And the bow will be in the cloud and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. ¹⁷ And God said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

¹⁴ And this day will be to you* for a memorial and you* will keep it a feast to Jehovah; throughout your* genealogy you* will keep it a feast by an everlasting ordinance.

⁹ And it will be for a sign to you upon your hand and for a memorial between your eyes, that the law of Jehovah may be in your mouth, because Jehovah has brought you out of Egypt with a strong hand.

⁷ It will have two shoulder-pieces joined to the two ends of it, that it may be joined together.

²⁹ And Aaron will bear the names of the sons of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goes in to the holy place, for a memorial before Jehovah continually.

⁶ And they worked the onyx stones, enclosed in settings of gold, engraved with the engravings of a signet, according to the names of the sons of Israel. ⁷ And he put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the sons of Israel, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

⁷ And you will put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire to Jehovah.

⁴⁰ to be a memorial to the sons of Israel, to the end that no stranger, who is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to burn incense before Jehovah, that he not be as Korah and as his company, as Jehovah spoke to him by Moses.

⁵⁴ And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of the captains of thousands and of hundreds and brought it into the tent of meeting, for a memorial for the sons of Israel before Jehovah.

⁷ Then you* will say to them, Because the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of Jehovah. When it passed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. And these stones will be for a memorial to the sons of Israel everlasting.

¹⁹ Then you spoke in a vision to your holy ones and said, I have laid help upon a mighty man. I have exalted a chosen man out of the people.

⁶ For to us a child is born, to us a son is given. And the government will be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace.

² Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust and will not be afraid, for Jehovah, even Jehovah, is my strength and song and he has become my salvation.

⁶ I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem. They will never keep silent day nor night. You* who are Jehovah's reminders, take no rest,

¹³ even he will build the temple of Jehovah. And he will bear the glory and will sit and rule upon his throne. And he will be a priest upon his throne and the counsel of peace will be between them both. ¹⁴ And the crowns will be to Helem and to Tobijah and to Jedaiah and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of Jehovah.

⁵⁴ He helped Israel his young-servant, in order to remember his mercy,

⁷² to do his mercy with our fathers and his holy covenant to remember.

⁴ But having stared at him and becoming fearful, said, What is it, Lord?
But he said to him, Your prayers and your charity have gone up for a memorial in God’s sight.

²⁵ Hence he is also able to completely save those who come to God through him, always living, that he may petition on their behalf.
²⁶ For such a high-priest was suitable to us, holy, guiltless, undefiled, has been separated away from sinners and became exalted from the heavens; ²⁷ who has no necessity every day to offer up sacrifices just-like the high-priests, (beforehand on behalf of their own sins), and thereafter for those of the people; for he did this once for all, having offered up himself. ²⁸ For the law designates men as high-priests, who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which was after the law, appoints a Son, having been completed forever.
