⁸ And Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people and said, Behold the blood of the covenant that Jehovah has made with you* concerning all these words.

⁶ And Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

⁷ in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses according to the riches of his grace.

¹⁸ Hence even the first covenant has not been inaugurated without blood. ¹⁹ For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the law, and when he took the blood of the calves and the male-goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, he sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, ²⁰ saying, ‘This is the blood of the covenant which God commanded toward you.’ ²¹ Now likewise, he also sprinkled the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry in the blood.

²⁰ Now the God of peace, who brought up the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus, from the dead in the blood of an everlasting covenant,

² according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the holiness of the Spirit, to obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: grace to you and may peace be multiplied.
