¹ Even you were dead in your trespasses and sins, ² in which you previously walked according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, of the spirit which now is working in the sons of disobedience; ³ among whom we also all conducted ourselves previously in the lusts of our flesh, practicing the wills of the flesh and of the mind and we were children of wrath by nature, even as the rest. ⁴ But God, being rich in mercy, because of his much love with which he loved us, ⁵ even when we were dead through our trespasses, he made us alive together with the Christ; you are saved in his grace. ⁶ And God raised us up together with him and seated us together with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus; ⁷ in order that in the coming ages, he might show the surpassing riches of his grace in kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. ⁸ For you are saved by the grace through the faith, and this thing, the gift of God, is not from you; ⁹ not from works, in order that not anyone should boast. ¹⁰ For we are his product, created in Christ Jesus toward good works, in which God prepared beforehand in order that we should walk in them.
¹¹ Hence remember, that previously you, (the Gentiles in the flesh), who are called uncircumcision by what is called circumcision, made by hands in the flesh; ¹² that you were separate from Christ at the time, having been alienated from the citizenship of Israel and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and were godless in the world. ¹³ But now in Christ Jesus you who were previously from afar have become near to him in the blood of the Christ. ¹⁴ For he is our peace, who made us both one and tore-down the middle wall of the fence, ¹⁵ having done-away-with the hostility in his flesh, which is the Law of commandments in decrees; in order that he might create in himself the two into one new man, thus making peace; ¹⁶ and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having killed the hostility in himself. ¹⁷ And when he came, he proclaimed the good-news of peace to you who were from afar and peace to those who were near; ¹⁸ because through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father. ¹⁹ Therefore consequently, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens of the holy-ones and members of the household of God, ²⁰ having been built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone; ²¹ in whom all the building, fitly framed together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord; ²² in whom you are also built together into a residence of God in the Spirit.

²² But Jesus said to him, Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.

²⁴ Because this one, my son, was dead and then lived again, and was perishing and then was found. And they began to be joyous.

³² But we ought to be joyous and rejoice, because this one, your brother was dead, and then lived again, and was perishing and then was found.

²¹ For just-like the Father raises up the dead and is giving-life to them, so the Son also is giving-life to whom he wills.

²⁵ Assuredly, assuredly, I am saying to you, The hour is coming and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.

¹⁰ The thief does not come, except that he may steal, and may sacrifice and may destroy you. I came in order that they may have life and may have it even-more.

²⁵ Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, even if he dies, he will be living; ²⁶ and everyone who is living and believes in me may never die–forever. Do you believe this?

⁶ Jesus says to him, I am the way and the truth and the life; no one is coming to the Father, except through me.

² For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free away from the law of sin and of death.

⁴⁵ So also it has been written, ‘The first man Adam became a living soul.’The last Adam is giving-life for our spirit.

¹⁴ For the love of Christ is holding us together with him, having judged this thing: if one died on behalf of all, consequently, all died;

¹⁹ and what is the surpassing greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of the dominion of his strength, ²⁰ which he worked in the Christ, having raised him up from the dead and seated him by his right hand in the heavenly places,

⁵ even when we were dead through our trespasses, he made us alive together with the Christ; you are saved in his grace. ⁶ And God raised us up together with him and seated us together with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus;

¹⁸ having been darkened in their mind, having been alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance which is in them, because of the hardening of their heart,

¹⁴ Hence he says, Arise, you who are sleeping and rise up from the dead and the Christ will appear upon you.

¹³ And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, he made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses;

¹ Therefore, if you were raised up together with the Christ, seek the things which are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. ² Be mindful of the things which are above, not the things which are upon the earth. ³ For you died and the life you have, has been hidden together with the Christ in God. ⁴ Whenever the Christ, who is the life of us, is manifested, then you will also be manifested together with him in glory.

⁶ But she who is self-indulgent has died, while still living.

¹⁴ We know that we have stepped out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother is abiding in death.

¹ And write to the messenger of the congregation in Sardis:
He who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars says these things: I know your works, that you have a name, that you live; and you are dead.

⁷ And Jehovah said to Satan, From where do you come? Then Satan answered Jehovah and said, From going to and fro on the earth and from walking up and down on it.

¹⁶ While he was yet speaking, there came also another and said, The fire of God fell from heaven and has burned up the sheep and the servants and consumed them and only I alone have escaped to tell you.

¹⁹ And behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness and killed* the four corners of the house and it fell upon the young men and they are dead and only I alone have escaped to tell you.

⁷ if my step has turned out of the way and my heart walked after my eyes and if any spot has clung to my hands,

¹⁴ from men by your hand, O Jehovah, from men of the world whose portion is in this life and whose belly you fill with your treasure. They are satisfied with sons and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.

¹ Woe to the rebellious sons, says Jehovah, who take counsel, but not of me and who make a league, but not of my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin,

⁴ Against whom do you* sport yourselves, against whom you* make a wide mouth and put out the tongue? Are you* not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,

¹⁰ For the land is full of adulterers. For because of swearing the land mourns. The pastures of the wilderness are dried up. And their course is evil and their might is not right.

⁹ O Israel, you have sinned from the days of Gibeah. There they stood. The battle against the sons of unrighteousness does not overtake them in Gibeah.

¹⁹ The Son of Man came eating and drinking and they say, Behold, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners! And wisdom was made righteous from her children.

⁴³ But the unclean spirit, whenever it has gone out of the man, goes through waterless places, seeking rest and does not find it. ⁴⁴ Then it says, I will return into my house from where I came out, and when it comes, it finds it unoccupied, having been swept and adorned. ⁴⁵ Then it travels and takes with itself seven other spirits more evil than itself and they enter and dwell there and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first. So it will also be to this evil generation.

³⁸ and the field is the world, and the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom, and the darnels are the sons of the evil one;

²¹ Whenever the fully armed strong man is guarding his own courtyard, his possessions are in peace. ²² But whenever the one mightier than him, having come upon him and then, overcomes him, he takes away his full-armor upon which he had confidence in, and distributes his haul. ²³ He who is not with me is against me, and he who is not gathering with me, scatters.

²⁴ The unclean spirit, whenever it has come out of the man, goes through waterless places, seeking rest, and finding none, it says, I will turn back to my house from where I came out. ²⁵ And having come back, he finds that it has been swept and adorned. ²⁶ Then it travels and takes with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they come and dwell there and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first.

⁸ And his lord praised the steward of unrighteousness because he had done prudently, because the sons of this world are more prudent to their own generation; even beyond the sons of the light.

² And the high-priests and the scribes were seeking how they might assassinate him; for they were fearing the people.


³ Now the Adversary entered into Judas who is surnamed Iscariot, being from the number of the twelve.

³¹ Now the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, the Adversary asked for you, to sift you like wheat.

⁷ The world is not able to hate you, but it hates me, because I am testifying concerning it, that its works are evil.

²³ And he said to them, You are from below; I am from above. You are from this world; I am not from this world.

⁴⁴ You are from your father, the devil, and you to do the lusts of your father. That one was a murderer from the beginning and is not standing in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own things, because he is a liar and the father of it.

³¹ Now is the judgment of this world. Now the ruler of this world will be cast outside.

² And it happened during supper, the devil had already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, in order that he should give him up.

²⁷ And after the morsel, then the Adversary entered into him. Therefore Jesus says to that man, What you are doing, do quickly.

³⁰ I will not be speaking much anymore with you, for the ruler of the world is coming and he has nothing in me;

¹⁹ If you were from the world, the world would love its own, but because you are not from the world, but I chose you out of the world, the world is hating you because of this.

¹¹ and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

³ But Peter said, Ananias, why has the Adversary filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to pilfer part of the price of the parcel of ground?

³⁵ But having the composure of the crowd, the town scribe says, Men of Ephesus, for what man is there who does not know that the city of the Ephesians is temple-keeper of the great goddess Artemis and of the fallen image from Zeus?

² And not to fashion yourselves to this age, but be transfigured by the renewal of your mind, that you may be proving in you what is the will of God: the good and acceptable and mature.

¹⁰ and certainly not meaning with the fornicators of this world or with the greedy or swindlers or idolaters; otherwise, you are consequently obligated to go forth out of the world.

¹¹ And some of you were these, but you were fully-washed, but you were made holy, but you were made righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus and in the Spirit of our God.

⁴ in whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the illumination of the good-news of the glory of the Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn for them.

⁴ who gave himself concerning our sins, that he might liberate us out of the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father:

³ among whom we also all conducted ourselves previously in the lusts of our flesh, practicing the wills of the flesh and of the mind and we were children of wrath by nature, even as the rest.

²² to place away from yourselves the old man, according to your former conduct, the one who is corrupted according to the lusts of deception;

⁶ Let no one deceive you with empty words; for because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience.

¹² Because the wrestling in us is not with blood and flesh, but with the principalities, with the authorities, with the world dominions of the darkness of this age, with the spiritual ones of wickedness in the heavenly places. \ulnone\nosupersub

²¹ And you were previously alienated and were enemies in mind, in evil works, but yet he reconciled you\super\'b0

⁶ Because of which things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience; ⁷ among whom you also previously walked, when you were living in these things.

¹⁰ for Demas forsook me and traveled to Thessalonica, having loved this current age; Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia.

⁷ For do not let that man assume that he will be receiving anything from the Lord–

⁴ Adulterers and adulteresses, do you not know that the friendship of the world is hostility toward God? Therefore, whoever wills to be a friend of the world is designated as an enemy of God.

¹⁴ like children of obedience not fashioning yourselves in your former lusts in the time of your ignorance;

³ For enough time which has passed away from our life is for us to have worked the will of the Gentiles, and having conducted-ourselves in: unbridled-lusts, lusts, drunkenness, revelings, drinking-bouts and illegal idolatries;

¹⁴ having eyes full of an adulteress and an unceasing sin; enticing unstable souls; having a heart which has been exercised from greed; children of the curse; ¹⁵ Do not love the world, nor the things which are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. ¹⁶ Because all the things which are in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the self-importance of life, are not from the Father, but are from the world. ¹⁷ And the world is passing away and its lust, but he who is practicing the will of God abides forever.

⁸ He who is practicing sin is from the devil, because the devil sins from the beginning, to this end the Son of God was manifested, in order that he might tear-down the works of the devil.

¹⁰ The children of God and the children of the devil are apparent in this, everyone who does not practice righteousness is not from God and he who does not love his brother.

⁴ You are from God, my little-children and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.

⁴ Because everyone who has been born from God overcomes the world and this is the victory, our faith, that has overcome the world.

¹⁹ We know that we are from God and the whole world lays in the evil one.

⁹ And the great dragon was cast down, the ancient serpent, who is called the devil and the Adversary, the one who is misleading the whole inhabited-earth; he was cast down to the earth and his messengers were cast down with him.

⁸ And all who are dwelling upon the earth will be worshiping him, everyone whose name has not been written in the Book of Life of the lamb, who has been slaughtered from the conception of the world.

¹⁴ And the one who is misleading those of mine who are dwelling upon the earth because of the signs which was given to him to do in the sight of the beast, saying to those who dwell upon the earth to make an image to the beast, who was holding the wound of death from the sword and lived.

¹⁷ And the seventh poured out his bowl upon the air, and there came forth a loud voice from the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It has happened.

² And he took-hold of the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil and the Adversary, the one who is misleading the whole inhabited-earth and bound him a thousand years,

³ And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years and fathered a son in his own likeness, according to his image and called his name Seth.

⁵ And Jehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only continually evil.

²¹ And Jehovah smelled the sweet aroma. And Jehovah said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for the sake of man, because the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth. I will not again kill* everything living, as I have done.

⁴ Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? Not one.

¹⁴ What is man, that he should be clean? And he who is born of a woman, that he should be righteous? ¹⁵ Behold, he puts no trust in his holy ones. Yes, the heavens are not clean in his sight. ¹⁶ How much less one who is abominable and morally-corrupt, a man who drinks unrighteousness like water!

⁴ How then can man be just with God? Or how can he be clean who is born of a woman?

⁵ Behold, I was brought out in iniquity and my mother conceived me in sin.

⁶ All we like sheep have gone-astray. We have turned every one to his own way and Jehovah has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

⁶ For we have all become as unclean and all our righteous acts are as a menstruation cloth. And we all fade as a leaf. And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away. ⁷ And there is none who calls upon your name, who stirs himself up to take hold of you. For you have hid your face from us and have consumed us through our iniquities.

⁵ we have sinned and have dealt perversely and have done wickedly and have rebelled, even turning aside from your precepts and from your ordinances, ⁶ nor have we listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our rulers and our fathers and to all the people of the land.
⁷ O Lord, righteousness belongs to you, but to us shame of face, as at this day, to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to all Israel, who are near and who are far off, through all the countries where you have driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against you.
⁸ O Lord, to us belongs shame of face, to our kings, to our rulers and to our fathers, because we have sinned against you. ⁹ To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness, for we have rebelled against him,

¹⁹ and the anxieties of this age, and the deception of riches, and the lusts concerning all the rest of the worldly things travel into their hearts, are choking the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

²¹ For evil reasonings travel from inside, out of the heart of men, such as : adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, ²² greedy-acts, wickednesses, treachery, unbridled-lusts, an evil eye, blasphemy, haughtiness, foolishness.

¹³ who were born, not from bloods, nor from the will of the flesh, nor from the will of man, but from God.

¹ Now there was a man from the Pharisees, his name was Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. ² This one came to him by night and said to him, Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God; for no one is able to do these signs which you are doing, if God is not with him.
³ Jesus answered and said to him, Assuredly, assuredly, I am saying to you, If someone has not been born anew, he is not able to see the kingdom of God.
⁴ Nicodemus says to him, How is a man able to be born, being elderly? He is not able to enter into his mother’s womb a second-time and to be born again, is he?
⁵ Jesus answered, Assuredly, assuredly, I am saying to you, If someone has not been born out of water and the Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God! ⁶ What has been born out of the flesh is flesh, and what has been born out of the Spirit is spirit.

¹⁶ who permitted all the nations in the generations which have gone-by, to conduct-themselves in their own ways.

³⁰ Therefore indeed, God overlooked the times of ignorance. Hereafter, he is commanding all men everywhere to repent; ³¹ because he has established a future day in which to judge the inhabited-earth in righteousness in the man whom he has determined beforehand; having provided the faith to all, by having raised him from the dead.

²⁴ Hence also, God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts into uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves.

⁹ Therefore what? Are we, Jews special? Certainly not; for we accused beforehand, both Jews and Greeks, that they are all under sin; ¹⁰ just-as it has been written, ‘There is none righteous, not even one. ¹¹ No one is understanding. No one is seeking out God. ¹² They all shunned God. They were becoming-useless at the same time. No one is practicing kindness; no one is insofar as even one.’ ¹³ ‘Their throat has been an opened burial chamber; they were treacherous with their tongues.’‘The poison of asps is under their lips.’ ¹⁴ ‘Whose mouth is full of evil-cursing and bitterness.’ ¹⁵ ‘Their feet are swift to shed blood; ¹⁶ downfall and miseries are in their ways; ¹⁷ and they did not know the way of peace.’ ¹⁸ ‘There is no fear of God in front of their eyes.’
¹⁹ Now we know how-much, as many things as the law says, it is speaking to those in the law; in order that every mouth may be sealed and all the world may become under the sentence of God;

²² even the righteousness of God through faith of Jesus Christ toward all and upon all those who believe; for there is no distinction; ²³ for all have sinned and come-short of the glory of God.

¹² Because of this, just-as sin entered into the world through one man and death through sin, and so death has gone forth to all men, in which all have sinned. ¹³ For Sin was in the world till the law, but sin is not charged to one’s account when there is no law. ¹⁴ But death reigned from Adam till Moses, even on those who did not sin on the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a pattern of the future one. \ulnone\nosupersub ¹⁵ But not like the trespass, so also is the gift. For if the many died by the trespass of the one, the favor of God and the gift by the favor of the one man, Jesus Christ, abounded much more to the many. ¹⁶ Now the gift is not as through one who sinned; for indeed the judgment came from one into condemnation, but the gift came from many trespasses into an act of righteousness. ¹⁷ For if, by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; much more they, who are receiving the abundance of the favor and of the gift of righteousness, will be reigning in life through the one, who is Jesus Christ. ¹⁸ Therefore consequently, as through one trespass the judgment came to all men to condemnation; so through the righteousness of one man the gift also came to all men into justification of life. ¹⁹ For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were designated as sinners, so also through the obedience of the one the many will be designated as righteous.

¹² Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you might obey it in its lusts;

¹⁸ For I know what is a good thing is not dwelling in me, (that is, in my flesh); for it is laying beside me to will it, but I am not finding what is a good thing to work it.

⁷ because the mindset of the flesh is hostility toward God; for it is not subject to the law of God, for neither is it able to be; ⁸ and those who are in the flesh are not able to please God.

²² But what if God, willing to show his wrath and to make his power known, carried us, vessels of wrath having been framed for destruction, in much patience;

³⁰ For just-as you were also previously disobedient to God, but now you were shown-mercy by their disobedience,

¹⁴ But clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not practice forethought for the lusts of the flesh.

⁷ For who is making you the judge? But what do you have which you did not receive? But if you also received it, why are you boasting as having not receive it?

⁹ Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not be inheriting the kingdom of God? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor pedophiles, nor homosexuals, ¹⁰ nor the greedy ones, nor thieves, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will be inheriting the kingdom of God. ¹¹ And some of you were these, but you were fully-washed, but you were made holy, but you were made righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus and in the Spirit of our God.

¹ Therefore beloved, having these promises, we should cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, completing holiness in the fear of God.

¹⁵ We are Jews by nature and not sinners from the Gentiles; ¹⁶ knowing that a man is not made righteous from the works of the law, if it is not through the faith of Jesus Christ. Also we believed in Christ Jesus, in order that we might be made righteous from our faith in Christ and not from the works of the law, because no flesh will be made righteous from the works of the law.

²² But the Scriptures locked up together all things under sin, in order that the promise which comes from the faith of Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

¹⁶ But I am saying, walk by the Spirit and you may never complete the lust of the flesh. ¹⁷ For the flesh lusts against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh, and these lay in opposition to one another; in order that you may not do these things which you would wish. ¹⁸ But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
¹⁹ Now the works of the flesh are apparent, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, unbridled-lusts, ²⁰ idolatry, sorcery, hostilities, strife, jealousies, furies, selfish ambitions, dissensions, sects, ²¹ envies, murders, drunkenness, revelings and things similar to these things; which I am telling to you beforehand, also just-as I foretold to you, that those who are practicing such things–they will not be inheriting the kingdom of God!
²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, ²³ meekness and self-control. There is no law against such. ²⁴ But those who are of the Christ have crucified the flesh together with its passions and lusts.

² in which you previously walked according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, of the spirit which now is working in the sons of disobedience;

¹⁷ Therefore I am saying and testifying this in the Lord: you are to walk no longer as the rest of the Gentiles are also walking, in the futility of their mind, ¹⁸ having been darkened in their mind, having been alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance which is in them, because of the hardening of their heart, ¹⁹ who are apathetic, gave themselves up to unbridled-lusts, for the working of all uncleanness in greed.

⁹ But those who are planning to be rich are falling into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, which are submerging men into utter-destruction and everlasting destruction.

³ For we were also previously foolish, disobedient, being misled, serving in various lusts and sensual-delights, leading lives in malice and envy, spiteful, hating one another.

¹ From where are the wars and quarrels among you come from? Is it not from here, from your own sensual-delights which are warring in your members? ² You lust and do not have; you murder and are jealous and are not able to obtain; you quarrel and make war; you do not have, because you are not asking. ³ You ask and do not receive, because you ask evilly, in order that you may spend it in your sensual-delights.

¹⁰ who previously were not a people, but now are the people of God; who had not been shown-mercy, but now have been shown-mercy.
¹¹ Beloved, I am encouraging you, as foreigners and travelers, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which are warring against the soul;

² that you should no longer have your life, (the rest of your time in the flesh), in the lusts of men, but in the will of God. ³ For enough time which has passed away from our life is for us to have worked the will of the Gentiles, and having conducted-ourselves in: unbridled-lusts, lusts, drunkenness, revelings, drinking-bouts and illegal idolatries;

¹⁸ For while speaking flattering-words of futility, they entice (with the lusts of the flesh to unbridled-lusts) those who really had fled away from those who conduct themselves in error.

⁸ If we should say that we have no sin, we are misleading ourselves and the truth is not in us. ⁹ If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ¹⁰ If we should say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar and his word is not in us.

⁸ Again, I am writing a new commandment to you, which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already appearing.

¹⁶ Because all the things which are in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the self-importance of life, are not from the Father, but are from the world.

¹⁶ These men are murmurers, complainers, conducting-themselves according to their lusts and their mouth is speaking flattering-words, admiring faces because of profit.
¹⁷ But you, beloved, remember for yourselves the declarations which have been spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; ¹⁸ that they were saying to you that in the last time there will be mockers, conducting-themselves according to their own lusts of ungodlinesses.

¹⁹ And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim the name of Jehovah before you. I will be merciful to whom I may be merciful and I will be compassionate to whomever I may be compassionate.

⁶ And Jehovah passed by before him and proclaimed, Jehovah, Jehovah, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness and truth, ⁷ keeping loving kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin and who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons and upon the sons' sons, upon the third and upon the fourth generation.

⁷ Jehovah did not set his love upon you*, nor choose you*, because you* were more in number than any people, for you* were the fewest of all peoples, ⁸ but because Jehovah loves you*. And because he would keep the oath which he swore to your* fathers, Jehovah has brought you* out with a mighty hand and redeemed you* out of the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh King of Egypt.

⁵ Not for your righteousness, or for the uprightness of your heart, do you go in to possess their land, but for the wickedness of these nations Jehovah your God drives them out from before you and that he may establish the word which Jehovah swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob.
⁶ Know therefore, that Jehovah your God does not give you this good land to possess it for your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked people.

¹⁷ and refused to obey, neither were mindful of your wonders that you did among them, but stiffened their neck. And in their rebellion they appointed a captain to return to their bondage. But you are a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness and did not forsake them.

¹ Have mercy upon me, O God, according to your loving kindness. According to the multitude of your tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

⁵ Because you, Lord, are good and ready to forgive and abundant in loving kindness to all those who call upon you.

¹⁵ But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness and truth.

⁸ Jehovah is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness.
⁹ He will not always contend, nor will he keep it everlasting. ¹⁰ He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
¹¹ Because as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him.

⁸ Jehovah is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great loving kindness.

⁶ Seek Jehovah while he may be found. Call you* upon him while he is near. ⁷ Let the wicked man forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts. And let him return to Jehovah and he will have mercy upon him and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
⁸ For my thoughts are not your* thoughts, nor are your* ways my ways, says Jehovah.

³ Jehovah appeared of old to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.

⁶ And when I passed by you and saw you treading in your blood, I said to you, Live in your blood! Yes, I said to you, Live in your blood! ⁷ I caused you to multiply as what grows in the field and you increased and grew great. And you attained to excellent ornament, your breasts were fashioned and your hair was grown. Yet you were naked and bare.
⁸ Now when I passed by you and looked upon you, behold, your time was the time of love. And I spread my skirt over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore to you and entered into a covenant with you, says the lord Jehovah and you became mine.

⁹ To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness, for we have rebelled against him,

² And he prayed to Jehovah and said, I beseech you, O Jehovah, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I hastened to flee to Tarshish, for I knew that you are a gracious God and merciful, slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness and relent you of the evil.

¹⁸ Who is a God like to you, who pardons iniquity and passes over the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness.
¹⁹ He will again have compassion upon us. He will tread our iniquities under foot and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. ²⁰ You will perform the truth to Jacob and the loving kindness to Abraham, which you have sworn to our fathers from the days of long-ago.

⁷⁸ through the heart of mercy of our God, in which the rising of light from on high has visited us,

¹⁴ And just-as Moses who exalted the serpent in the wilderness, so it is essential for the Son of Man to also be exalted; ¹⁵ in order that everyone who believes in him might not perish but may have everlasting life.
¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, in order that everyone who believes in him might not perish, but may have everlasting life. ¹⁷ For God did not send the Son into the world in order that he might judge the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

⁴ Or do you despise the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, being ignorant that the kindness of God is leading you to repentance?

⁸ But God is establishing his own love toward us, in that when we were still sinners, Christ died on our behalf.

²⁰ But the law entered in beside us, in order that the trespass might increase, but where sin increased, the favor over-abounded; ²¹ in order that, just-as sin reigned in death, so also the favor might also reign through righteousness to everlasting life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

¹⁵ For he says to Moses, ‘I will show-mercy to whomever I show-mercy and I will have pity on whomever I have pity.’ ¹⁶ Therefore consequently, it is not from the one who wills, nor from the one who runs, but from God, the one who shows-mercy.

²³ and in order that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he prepared beforehand for glory,

¹² For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, being rich toward all who are calling upon him;

⁷ in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses according to the riches of his grace.

⁷ in order that in the coming ages, he might show the surpassing riches of his grace in kindness upon us in Christ Jesus.

⁸ This grace was given to me the least of all the holy-ones, to proclaim the good-news of the untraceable riches of Christ among the Gentiles;

¹³ But we ought to thank God always concerning you brethren, beloved by the Lord, that God himself selected you from the beginning to salvation in holiness of the Spirit and in faith of the truth;

¹⁴ and the grace of our Lord overwhelmed me with the faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

⁹ who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times everlasting,

⁴ But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love of mankind had appeared: ⁵ he saved us (not from any works done in righteousness, which we practiced), but according to his mercy, through the full-washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, ⁶ which he poured out upon us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior; ⁷ in order that we might become heirs according to the hope of everlasting life, having been made righteous in that grace.

³ The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is gracious, who according to his much mercy has born us again into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atonement on behalf of our sins. ¹¹ Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. ¹² No one has seen God at anytime; if we love one another, God is abiding in us and his love is completed in us. ¹³ We know in this that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given to us from his Spirit. ¹⁴ And we have seen and are testifying that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. ¹⁵ Whoever confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him and he in God. ¹⁶ And we have known and have believed the love which God has in us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God and God abides in him. ¹⁷ In this, love has been completed with us, in order that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because just-as that man is complete, we are also complete in this world. ¹⁸ There is no fear in love, but mature love casts out the fear, because the fear has punishment, and he who fears has not been matured in love. ¹⁹ We love him, because he loved us first.

⁶³ It is the spirit who is giving-life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and are life.

¹¹ But we believe that we will be saved through the favor of the Lord Jesus, according to what is in the same manner as they are also.

²⁴ All those who believe, being made righteous freely by his grace, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus,

¹⁶ Because of this, it is from faith, in order that it may be according to grace; that the promise may be steadfast to all the seed; not to what is only from the law, but also to what is from the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,

⁶ For when we were still weak, according to the proper time, Christ died on behalf of the ungodly.

¹⁰ For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, having been reconciled, we will be saved in his life;

⁵ Therefore so there has also become a remnant according to the chosen of grace in this current time. ⁶ But if it is by grace, it is no more from works, otherwise grace becomes grace no more. But if it is from works, no more is it grace; otherwise work is work no more.

²⁰ Now the God of peace will crush the Adversary under your feet shortly.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is among you.

¹⁴ The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, is with all of you.
Amen.

¹ Even you were dead in your trespasses and sins,

⁸ For you are saved by the grace through the faith, and this thing, the gift of God, is not from you;

¹¹ For the grace of God has appeared, which is salvation to all men,

⁵ he saved us (not from any works done in righteousness, which we practiced), but according to his mercy, through the full-washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,

²¹ The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is with all the holy-ones. Amen.

²⁹ But I am saying to you, I may never drink from this fruit of the vine from now on, until that day whenever I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.

³⁷ The fortunate bondservants, whom the lord, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly I am saying to you, that he will gird himself, and will have them recline at the meal, and having passed by them, he will be serving them.

²⁹ and I also covenant to you, just-as my father covenanted to me a kingdom, ³⁰ in order that you may eat and may drink upon my table in my kingdom, and you will be sitting upon thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

²⁶ If anyone serves me, let him follow me, and where I am, my servant will also be there. And if anyone serves me, the Father will be honoring him.

³ And if I travel on, I will be preparing a place for you. I am coming again and will be receiving you to myself; in order that where I am, you may also be there.

²¹ in order that they may all be one; just-as you, Father, are in me and I in you; in order that they may also be one in us; in order that the world may believe that you sent me. ²² And the glory which you have given me I have given to them; they may be one, just-as we are one; ²³ I am in them and you are in me, in order that they may be completed into one and the world may know that you sent me and you loved them, just-as you loved me. ²⁴ Father, I wish that they, whom you have given me, may also be with me where I am, in order that they may view my glory, which you gave me, because you loved me before the conception of the world. ²⁵ O righteous Father, the world did not know you, but I knew you, and these knew that you sent me; ²⁶ and I made known to them your name and will be making it known; in order that the love in which you loved me may be in them and I am in them.

⁴ Therefore we were buried together with him through the immersion into his death; in order that just-like Christ was raised up from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we might also walk in newness of life. ⁵ For if we have become unified together with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be unified with him in the likeness of his resurrection.

³ The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is gracious, who has blessed us in every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

¹⁸ And he is the head of the body, the congregation of believers; who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, in order that he might become foremost in all things.

¹² having been buried together with him in the immersion, in which you were also raised up together with him through the faith from the working of God, who raised him up from the dead. ¹³ And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, he made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses;

¹ Therefore, if you were raised up together with the Christ, seek the things which are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. ² Be mindful of the things which are above, not the things which are upon the earth. ³ For you died and the life you have, has been hidden together with the Christ in God.

²⁰ Behold, I am standing at the door and knocking; if anyone hears my voice and if he opens the door, I will enter to him and will dine with him and he with me. ²¹ He who overcomes, I will be giving to him to sit with me at my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father at his throne.

¹³ Praise Jehovah, the God of Israel, from everlasting and to everlasting. Truly and Truly.

⁴⁸ Praise Jehovah, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting. And let all the people say, Truly. Praise Jehovah.

¹⁵ Instead you have been forsaken and hated, so that no man passed through you, I will make you an everlasting excellency, a joy of generations to generations.

⁴ But God, being rich in mercy, because of his much love with which he loved us,

⁵ which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations, as it now was revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit.

²¹ the glory is to him in the congregation in Christ Jesus to all generations forevermore. Amen.

¹² that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ might be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁶ But I was shown-mercy because of this, in order that Jesus Christ might show all his patience in me as foremost, for a pattern of those who are afterward about to believe on him for everlasting life. ¹⁷ Now to the King of the ages, incorruptible, invisible, the only wise God, is honor and glory forevermore. Amen.

⁴ But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love of mankind had appeared:

¹² To whom it was revealed, that they were serving these things not to themselves, but to you; which things now have been reported to you through those who proclaimed the good-news to you in the Holy Spirit, when he was sent forth from heaven; into which things messengers desire to peer into.

⁹ And they are singing a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals, because you were slaughtered and bought us in your blood for God out of every tribe and language and people and nation.
¹⁰ And you made them kings and priests to our God, and they will be reigning over the earth.
¹¹ And I saw and I heard a voice like that of many messengers in circle of the throne and the living creatures and the elders, tens of thousands of tens of thousands; ¹² saying in a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb who has been slaughtered to receive the power and the riches, and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and thanks. ¹³ And every created thing which is in the heaven and upon the earth and underneath the earth and upon the sea and all things in them, I heard saying, To the one who is sitting upon the throne and to the Lamb, is the thanks and the honor and the glory and the dominion, forevermore. Amen.
¹⁴ And the four living creatures are saying the amen; and the elders fell down and worshiped him.

¹⁷ And Jesus answered and said to him, You are fortunate, Simon, Son of Jonah, because flesh and blood has not revealed it to you, but my Father, the one in the heavens.

¹⁶ He who believes and is immersed will be saved, but he who disbelieves will be condemned.

⁵⁰ But he said to the woman, Your faith has saved you. Travel in peace.

¹² But as many as received him, he gave to them the authority to become children of God, to the believing ones in his name, ¹³ who were born, not from bloods, nor from the will of the flesh, nor from the will of man, but from God.

¹⁰ Jesus answered and said to her, If you knew the gift of God and who it is that says to you, Give to me some water to drink; you would have asked him, and he would have given living water to you.

²⁴ Assuredly, assuredly, I am saying to you, He who hears my word and believes in the one who sent me, has everlasting life, and is not coming into judgment, but has stepped out of death into the life.

²⁷ Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will be giving to you; for God, the Father, has sealed this one.
²⁸ Therefore they said to him, What should we do, in order that we may work the works of God?
²⁹ Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, in order that you might believe in the one whom that one has sent.

³⁵ But Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life. He who is coming to me may never hunger and he who believes in me may never be thirsty at anytime.

³⁷ All that the Father gives me will be coming to me, and the one who is coming to me I may never cast outside.

⁴⁰ But this is the will of the one who sent me, in order that everyone who views the Son and believes in him, may have everlasting life, and I will raise him up in the last day.

⁴⁴ No one is able to come to me, if the Father who sent me does not attract him and I will raise him up in the last day.

⁶⁵ And he said, Because of this, I have said to you, that no one is able to come to me, if it has not been given to him from my Father.

³⁹ and everyone who believes is made righteous in this one; you were not able to be made righteous from all the things of which were in the Law of Moses.

²⁷ Now when they came and gathered the congregation together, they reported how-much God had done with them, and that he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.

⁷ Now after much debate had happened, Peter standing up, said to them, Brethren, you know that from the days of old among us, God chose through my mouth, that the Gentiles were to hear the word of the good-news and to believe it. ⁸ And God, the knower of hearts, testified of them, having given them the Holy Spirit, just-as he did also to us; ⁹ and he made no distinction between us and them in the faith, having cleansed their hearts.

¹⁴ And a certain woman, Lydia by name, a seller of purple of the city of Thyatira was hearing us and worshiping God, whose heart the Lord opened to take-heed to the things being spoken from Paul.

³¹ Now they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your house.

²² even the righteousness of God through faith of Jesus Christ toward all and upon all those who believe; for there is no distinction; ²³ for all have sinned and come-short of the glory of God. ²⁴ All those who believe, being made righteous freely by his grace, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus, ²⁵ whom God purposed as an atonement through the faith in his blood in an example of his righteousness, because of the passing over of the sins, having been done beforehand, ²⁶ (in the forbearance of God), even toward the example of his righteousness in this current time, that he may himself be righteous and who is making righteous the one from the faith of Jesus.

⁵ But to the one who is not working, but believes on the one who makes righteous the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

⁹ that if you confessed the Lord Jesus in your mouth and if you have believed in your heart that God raised him up from the dead, you will be saved; ¹⁰ for it is believed in the heart toward righteousness and it is confessed with the mouth toward salvation.

¹⁴ Therefore how will they call upon him in whom they have not believed? But how will they believe of whom they have not heard? But how will they hear without someone preaching?

¹⁷ Consequently, the faith comes from our report but our report comes through the declaration of God.

¹⁴ in order that the blessing of Abraham might happen to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus; in order that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through the faith.

¹⁹ and what is the surpassing greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of the dominion of his strength,

⁵ even when we were dead through our trespasses, he made us alive together with the Christ; you are saved in his grace.

¹⁰ For we are his product, created in Christ Jesus toward good works, in which God prepared beforehand in order that we should walk in them.

²⁹ because it was granted to you on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer on his behalf;

¹² having been buried together with him in the immersion, in which you were also raised up together with him through the faith from the working of God, who raised him up from the dead.

⁹ who will be suffering-punishment, the sentence of everlasting utter-destruction away from the face of the Lord, and away from the glory of his strength,

¹⁶ Do not be misled, my beloved brethren!
¹⁷ Every good act of giving, and every complete gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no change, nor a shadow of turning. ¹⁸ Having willed it, he gave-birth to us with the word of truth, that we might be a certain first-fruit of his created things.

⁵ who are kept through faith in the power of God, into a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

¹⁰ He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who does not believe God, has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has testified concerning his Son. ¹¹ And the testimony is this, that God gave to us everlasting life and this life is in his Son. ¹² He who has the Son, has life; he who does not have the Son of God, does not have the life.

²⁰ because no flesh will be made righteous in his sight from the works of the law; for through the law comes the full knowledge of sin.

²⁷ Therefore where is the boasting? It was locked out. Through what law? Of works? No, but through the law of faith. ²⁸ Therefore, we are reasoning that a man is made righteous in faith separate from the works of the law.

² For if Abraham was made righteous out of works, he has grounds for boasting, but not toward God.

¹¹ for the children not yet having been born, nor having practiced anything good or evil, in order that the purpose of God according to his choice might abide, not from works, but from the one who is calling.

¹⁶ Therefore consequently, it is not from the one who wills, nor from the one who runs, but from God, the one who shows-mercy.

⁶ But if it is by grace, it is no more from works, otherwise grace becomes grace no more. But if it is from works, no more is it grace; otherwise work is work no more.

²⁹ that no flesh might boast in God’s sight. ³⁰ But you are from him, in Christ Jesus, who has become to us wisdom and righteousness and holiness and redemption from God; ³¹ that, just-as it has been written, ‘He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord.’

³ For we were also previously foolish, disobedient, being misled, serving in various lusts and sensual-delights, leading lives in malice and envy, spiteful, hating one another. ⁴ But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love of mankind had appeared: ⁵ he saved us (not from any works done in righteousness, which we practiced), but according to his mercy, through the full-washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,

³³ You* will walk in all the way which Jehovah your* God has commanded you*, that you* may live and that it may be well with you* and that you* may prolong your* days in the land which you* will possess.

⁶ Do you* thus requite Jehovah, O foolish people and unwise? Is not he your father who has bought you? He has made you and established you.

¹⁰ Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a right spirit within me.

¹³ O that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!

³ Know that Jehovah, he is God. It is he who has made us and we are his. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture.

³ Yes, they do no unrighteousness. They walk in his ways.

⁸ Jehovah will perfect what is on my behalf. Your loving kindness, O Jehovah, is everlasting. Do not forsake the works of your own hands.

³ And many peoples will go and say, Come and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob and he will teach us of his ways and we will walk in his paths. For out of Zion will go forth the law and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.
⁴ And he will judge between the nations and will decide concerning many peoples and they will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning-hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war any more.
⁵ O house of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of Jehovah.

²⁵ in that Jehovah of hosts has blessed them, saying, Egypt my people is blessed and Assyria the work of my hands and Israel my inheritance.

²³ But when he sees his children, the work of my hands, in the midst of him, they will sanctify my name. Yes, they will sanctify the Holy One of Jacob and will stand in awe of the God of Israel.

²¹ the people whom I formed for myself, that they might set forth my praise.

²¹ Remember these things, O Jacob and Israel, for you are my servant. I have formed you. You are my servant, O Israel, you will not be forgotten by me.

²¹ Your people also will all be righteous. They will inherit the land everlasting, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

³ to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, that he may be glorified.

³³ But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says Jehovah: I will give my laws into their mind and I will write them on their hearts. And I will be their God and they will be my people.

³⁹ And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for the good of them and of their sons after them.
⁴⁰ And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good. And I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.

¹⁶ So let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and may glorify your Father, the one in the heavens.

²¹ But he who practices the truth comes to the light, in order that his works should be manifest, that they have been worked in God.

³¹ Therefore indeed, all the congregations throughout the whole of Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace. They were being multiplied, being built up, and having conducted-themselves in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

³⁶ Now there was a certain disciple in Joppa, Tabitha by name, which being translated, is called Dorcas. This one was full of good works and of charity, which she was doing.

¹ Consequently now nothing is condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who are not walking according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

²⁹ Because, whom he knew beforehand, he also predetermined, one transformed to the image of his Son, that he himself might be the firstborn among many brethren;

⁹ For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s cultivation, God’s building.

⁵ Now God is the one who worked us for this same thing, who also gave the down-payment of the Spirit to us.

¹⁷ So-then if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

⁸ Now God is able to make abound all grace toward you; in order that having all self-sufficiency in everything, you should always abound to every good work;

¹⁵ For neither anything circumcision nor uncircumcision prevails in Christ Jesus, but a new creation.

⁴ just-as he chose us in him before the conception of the world, for us to be holy and unblemished in his sight in love.

¹ Therefore, I, the prisoner in the Lord, am encouraging you to walk worthily of the calling in which you were called,

²⁴ and to have clothed yourselves with the new man, who was created according to God, in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

⁶ I have confidence of this same thing, that he who has begun a good work in you will be completing it till the day of Jesus Christ;

¹³ For it is God who is working in you both to will and to work, on behalf of his delight.

¹⁰ for you to walk worthy of the Lord for pleasing him in everything, bearing-fruit in every good work and growing into the full knowledge of God;

¹⁰ and have clothed yourselves with the new man, who is being renewed to the full knowledge according to the image of the one who created him;

¹⁷ may comfort your hearts and may establish them in all the word and in good work.

¹⁰ but with what is suitable to women professing godliness through good works.

¹⁰ being testified of in good works; if she has reared children, if she was hospitable to strangers, if she has washed the holy-ones’feet, if she has relieved those being afflicted, if she has followed after every good work.

²⁵ Likewise also, the good works are evident, and those having works contrariwise are not able to be hid.

¹⁸ also command them to work what is good, to be rich in good works, to be liberal in giving, generous,

²¹ Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, having been made holy and is useful to the master, having been prepared for every good work.

¹⁷ in order that the man of God may be equipped, having been utterly equipped for every good work.

⁷ providing yourself as an example of good works concerning all things; in the teaching have integrity, honesty, incorruption,

¹⁴ who gave himself on our behalf, in order that he might redeem us away from all lawlessness and might cleanse a treasured people for himself, zealous of good works.

¹ Remind them to subject themselves to principalities and authorities, to be obedient, to be prepared for every good work,

⁸ Faithful is the word: and I will for you to confidently confirm concerning these things, in order that those who have believed God may be anxious to establish themselves first in good works. These things are good and profitable to men.

¹⁴ But let our people also learn to establish themselves foremost in good works for the necessary needs, in order that they may not be unfruitful.

²⁴ And we should consider one another for motivating each other from love and from good works;

²¹ may he complete you in every good work, that you should practice his will, doing what is well pleasing in his sight in you, through Jesus Christ in whom is the glory, forevermore. Amen.

¹² having your good conduct seen among the Gentiles; in order that, in what they are speaking against you, as evildoers, they may glorify God in the day of visitation, having eye-witnessed things from your good works.

⁷ But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son is cleansing us from every sin.

⁶ He who says he abides in him, he also ought to walk so; just-as that man walked.

¹⁵ And you will remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt and Jehovah your God brought you out from there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm, therefore Jehovah your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.

² And you will remember all the way which Jehovah your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, to prove you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments, or not.

⁷ Remember, do not you forget how you provoked Jehovah your God to wrath in the wilderness. From the day that you went forth out of the land of Egypt, until you* came to this place, you* have been rebellious against Jehovah.

¹⁵ And you will remember that you were a bondman in the land of Egypt and Jehovah your God redeemed you. Therefore I command you this thing today.

¹² and you will remember that you were a bondman in Egypt. And you will observe and do these statutes.

²⁶ And David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, What will be done to the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?

³⁶ Your servant killed* both the lion and the bear and this uncircumcised Philistine will be as one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.

¹ Listen to me, you* who follow after righteousness, you* who seek Jehovah. Look to the rock from where you* were hewn and to the hold of the pit from where you* were dug. ² Look to Abraham your* father and to Sarah who bore you*. For when he was but one I called him and I blessed him and made him many.

²⁵ Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will punish all those who are circumcised in their uncircumcision: ²⁶ Egypt and Judah and Edom and the sons of Ammon and Moab and all who have the corners of their hair cut off, who dwell in the wilderness. For all the nations are uncircumcised and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in heart.

⁶¹ Then you will remember your ways and be ashamed, when you will receive your sisters, your elder sisters and your younger and I will give them to you for daughters, but not by your covenant.
⁶² And I will establish my covenant with you and you will know that I am Jehovah, ⁶³ that you may remember and be confounded and never open your mouth any more, because of your shame, when I have forgiven you all that you have done, says the lord Jehovah.

⁴³ And there you* will remember your* ways and all your* practices, by which you* have polluted yourselves. And you* will loathe yourselves in your* own sight for all your* evils that you* have committed.

³¹ Then you* will remember your* evil ways and your* practices that were not good. And you* will loathe yourselves in your* own sight for your* iniquities and for your* abominations.

²⁸ For he is not a Jew openly; nor is circumcision what is openly in the flesh, ²⁹ but he is a Jew in the hidden thing, and the circumcision is of the heart, in spirit, not in the writing; whose praise is not from men, but from God.

² You know that when you were Gentiles, you were being led away to those voiceless idols, as you would be led now.

¹⁵ We are Jews by nature and not sinners from the Gentiles;

⁸ But indeed back then, not knowing God, you were enslaved to those who by nature are not gods. ⁹ But now having known God, but rather having been known by God, how are you turning back again to the weak and poor fundamental principles? Do you again wish to be enslaved to these anew?

¹² As many as wish to have a good countenance in the flesh, these are urging you to be circumcised; only in order that they may not be persecuted for the cross of the Christ.

⁸ For you were previously in darkness, but now you^\'b0 are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light

³ For we are the circumcision, who are giving-divine service in the spirit of God, and boast in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh;

¹¹ in whom you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the stripping off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of the Christ,

¹¹ where there is no Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bondservant, or free man, but Christ is all things and in all things.

¹⁸ In that day Jehovah made a covenant with Abram, saying, To your seed I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates:

⁷ And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your seed after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your seed after you. ⁸ And I will give to you and to your seed after you, the land of your travels, all the land of Canaan for an everlasting possession and I will be their God.
⁹ And God said to Abraham, And as for you, you will keep my covenant, you and your seed after you throughout their generations.

³ And Moses came and told the people all the words of Jehovah and all the ordinances. And all the people answered with one voice and said, All the words which Jehovah has spoken will we
do.
⁴ And Moses wrote all the words of Jehovah and rose up early in the morning and built an altar below the mountain and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel. ⁵ And he sent young men of the sons of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to Jehovah. ⁶ And Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
⁷ And he took the book of the covenant and read in the audience of the people. And they said, All that Jehovah has spoken will we do and be obedient. ⁸ And Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people and said, Behold the blood of the covenant that Jehovah has made with you* concerning all these words.
⁹ Then Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu and seventy of the elders of Israel went up. ¹⁰ And they saw the God of Israel. And there was under his feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone and as it were the very heaven for clearness. ¹¹ And he laid not his hand upon the nobles of the sons of Israel. And they beheld God and ate and drank.

¹⁹ All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the sons of Israel offer to Jehovah, I have given you and your sons and your daughters with you, as an everlasting portion. It is a covenant of salt forever before Jehovah to you and to your seed with you.

³ Now for a long time Israel was without the true God and without a teaching priest and without law.

³ But Zerubbabel and Jeshua and the rest of the heads of fathers of Israel, said to them, You* have nothing to do with us in building a house to our God, but we ourselves together will build to Jehovah, the God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia has commanded us.

³ I have made a covenant with my chosen. I have sworn to David my servant: ⁴ Your seed I will establish everlasting and build up your throne to all generations. Selah.
⁵ And the heavens will praise your wonders, O Jehovah, your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones.
⁶ Because who in the clouds can be compared to Jehovah? Who among the sons of the mighty is like Jehovah, ⁷ a God very awesome in the council of the holy ones and to be feared above all those who are all around him?
⁸ O Jehovah God of hosts, who is a mighty one like you, O Jehovah? And your faithfulness is all around you.
⁹ You rule the pride of the sea. When the waves of it arise, you still them. ¹⁰ You have broken Rahab in pieces, as a wounded man. You have scattered your enemies with the arm of your strength.
¹¹ The heavens are yours, the earth also is yours, the world and the fullness of it; you have founded them. ¹² The north and the south, you have created them. Tabor and Hermon rejoice in your name.
¹³ You have a mighty arm. Strong is your hand and high is your right hand.
¹⁴ Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Loving kindness and truth go before your face.
¹⁵ The people who know the shout of you are fortunate. O Jehovah, they walk in the light of your countenance. ¹⁶ They rejoice all the day in your name and they are exalted in your righteousness.
¹⁷ Because you are the glory of their strength and in your favor our horn will be exalted. ¹⁸ Because our shield belongs to Jehovah and our king to the Holy One of Israel.

⁶ Jehovah says thus, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, Jehovah of hosts: I am the first and I am the last and besides me there is no God.

²⁰ Assemble yourselves and come, draw near together, you* that are escaped of the nations. They have no knowledge that carry the wood of their graven image and pray to a god that cannot save.

⁵ And strangers will stand and feed your* flocks and foreigners will be your* plowmen and your* vine-dressers.

⁸ O you hope of Israel, the Savior of it in the time of trouble, why should you be as a traveler in the land and as a wayfaring man who turns aside to abide for a night?

¹³ O Jehovah, the hope of Israel, all who forsake you will be put to shame. Those who depart from me will be written in the earth, because they have forsaken Jehovah, the fountain of living waters.

³¹ Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, ³² not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, because they did not continue in my covenant and I disregarded them, says Jehovah.
³³ But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says Jehovah: I will give my laws into their mind and I will write them on their hearts. And I will be their God and they will be my people.
³⁴ And they will teach no more every man his neighbor and every man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah, for they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says Jehovah. For I will forgive their iniquity and I will remember their sin no more.

²⁰ Jehovah says thus: If you* can break my covenant of the day and my covenant of the night, so that there will not be day and night in their season, ²¹ then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he will not have a son to reign upon his throne and with the Levites the priests, my ministers. ²² As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured, so I will multiply the seed of David my servant and the Levites that minister to me.
²³ And the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah, saying, ²⁴ Do you not consider what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which Jehovah chose, he has cast them off? Thus they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
²⁵ Jehovah says thus: If my covenant of day and night stand not, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth, ²⁶ then I will also cast away the seed of Jacob and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. For I will cause their captivity to return and will have mercy on them.

⁹ And my hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and who divine lies. They will not be in the council of my people, nor will they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither will they enter into the land of Israel.
And you* will know that I am the lord Jehovah.

²⁶ Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them. It will be an everlasting covenant with them and I will place them and multiply them and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them everlasting.

⁴ For the sons of Israel will abide many days without king and without ruler and without sacrifice and without pillar and without ephod or household-idol.

⁷² to do his mercy with our fathers and his holy covenant to remember.

²² You worship what you do not know. We worship what we know, because salvation is from the Jews.

¹⁶ And I have other sheep, which are not out of this pen; it is also essential for me to lead those and they will be hearing my voice and there will become one flock, only one shepherd.

⁵ I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me and I in him, this one is bringing forth much fruit, because you are not able to do anything separate from me.

²⁵ You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God covenanted with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed, all the families of the earth will be blessed.’

¹⁵ and saying, Men! Why are you doing these things? We are also human, of like-feelings with you and are proclaiming the good-news to you : to turn away from these futile things to the living God, who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and all things in them; ¹⁶ who permitted all the nations in the generations which have gone-by, to conduct-themselves in their own ways.

²⁰ Therefore, because of this accusation, I pleaded to see and to speak with you; for I am encompassed with this chain because of the hope of Israel.

²⁸ And just-as they did not approve to have God in their full knowledge, God gave them up to an unapproved mind, to do those things which are not proper. ²⁹ They have been filled with all: unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, greed, malice; full of: envy, murder, strife, treachery, maliciousness. They are: malicious whisperers, ³⁰ slandering, spiteful to God, insolent, haughty, braggarts, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, ³¹ without understanding, covenant-breakers, cold-hearted, implacable and unmerciful. ³² Who, having fully known the ordinance of God, (that those practicing such things are worthy of death), are not only practicing the same things, but also are consenting with those who are practicing the same things.

⁴ who are Israelites, whose is the sonship and the glory and the covenants and the institution of the law and the divine service and the promises; ⁵ whose are the fathers and from whom is the Christ according to the flesh, who is over all: God is gracious forever. Amen.

⁸ This thing is, the children of the flesh, these are not children of God, but the children of the promise are counted for a seed.

⁴ Therefore concerning the food of idol-sacrifices, we know that an idol in the world is nothing and that there is no other God except one. ⁵ For if indeed there are so called gods, whether in heaven or upon the earth; just-like there are many such gods and many such lords, ⁶ but to us, there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we are for him, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we are through him.

¹⁹ Then what am I saying? That an idol is anything, or that an idol-sacrifice is anything? ²⁰ But I am saying, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they are sacrificing to demons, and not to God, and I do not wish you to become partners of demons.

¹⁶ Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He did not say and to seeds, as upon many, but as upon one and ‘to your seed,’which is the Christ. ¹⁷ Now I am saying this: the law, having happened four hundred and thirty years after ward, is not invalidating the covenant that has been validated beforehand by God in reference to Christ, that it should do-away-with the promise.

⁸ But indeed back then, not knowing God, you were enslaved to those who by nature are not gods.

⁵ because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, of which you heard beforehand in the word of the truth of the good-news.

²⁷ To whom God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, who is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

⁵ not in the passion of lust, just-as also the Gentiles who do not know God,

¹³ But brethren, we do not wish you to be ignorant concerning those who have fallen-asleep; in order that you may not be sorrowful like the rest who have no hope.

¹⁶ Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God and Father who loved us and gave us everlasting encouragement and good hope in his grace,

¹ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the commandment of God our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, our hope;

¹⁸ in order that through two unchangeable matters, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge, to take-hold of the hope that lays before us.

³⁴ quenched the power of fire, fled away from the edge of the sword, were empowered away from weakness, became mighty in war, the encampments of aliens bowed down.

²¹ who believe through him in God. The God who raised him up from the dead and gave him glory; so-that your faith and hope might be in God.

¹⁵ but make the Lord God holy in your hearts, and be ready habitually with a defense to everyone who is asking you for a reason concerning the hope which is in you, with meekness and fear;

³ And everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, just-as that man is pure.

⁷ All those who see me laugh me to scorn. They shoot out the lip. They shake the head, saying,

²⁷ Because behold, those who are far from you will perish. You have destroyed all those who play the prostitute from you.

¹⁰ And there will be a root of Jesse in that day and he who arises to rule over the Gentiles. In him will the Gentiles hope and his resting place will be glorious.

¹⁵ Therefore glorify you* Jehovah in the east, even the name of Jehovah, the God of Israel, in the isles of the sea. ¹⁶ From the outermost part of the earth we have heard songs. Glory to the righteous.
But I said, I pine away, I pine away. Woe is me! The treacherous have dealt treacherously, yes, the treacherous have dealt very treacherously.

⁶ I will say to the north, Give up and to the south, Do not keep back. Bring my sons from far and my daughters from the end of the earth,

¹² Behold, these will come from far, and behold, these from the north and from the west and these from the land of Sinim.

¹⁹ I create the fruit of the lips. Peace, peace, to him who is far off and to him who is near, says Jehovah and I will heal him.

⁴ Lift up your eyes all around and see. They all gather themselves together. They come to you. Your sons will come from far and your daughters will be carried in the arms.

⁹ Surely the isles will wait for me and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, for the name of Jehovah your God and for the Holy One of Israel, because he has glorified you.

¹⁹ And I will set a sign among them and I will send such as escape of them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the isles afar off, who have not heard my fame, nor have seen my glory and they will declare my glory among the nations.

¹⁹ O Jehovah, my strength and my stronghold and my refuge in the day of affliction, to you the nations will come from the ends of the earth and will say, Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, even vanity and things in which there is no profit.

³⁹ For the promise is to you and to your children and to all those at afar off, as many as the Lord our God may call.

¹⁴ Symeon has described, just-as how God visited the nations first, to take out of them a people for his name.

²¹ And he said to me, Travel on, because I will be sending you forth to the Gentiles who are afar.

¹⁸ to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light, and from the authority of the Adversary to God, in order for them to receive forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance among those who have been made holy in faith, the faith in me.

²³ for all have sinned and come-short of the glory of God. ²⁴ All those who believe, being made righteous freely by his grace, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus, ²⁵ whom God purposed as an atonement through the faith in his blood in an example of his righteousness, because of the passing over of the sins, having been done beforehand, ²⁶ (in the forbearance of God), even toward the example of his righteousness in this current time, that he may himself be righteous and who is making righteous the one from the faith of Jesus.
²⁷ Therefore where is the boasting? It was locked out. Through what law? Of works? No, but through the law of faith. ²⁸ Therefore, we are reasoning that a man is made righteous in faith separate from the works of the law. ²⁹ Or is God the God of Jews only and not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also. ³⁰ Since God is one, it is he who will be making righteous the circumcision out of faith and the uncircumcision through the faith.

⁹ Therefore much more, having been now made righteous in his blood, we will be saved from the wrath of God through him. ¹⁰ For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, having been reconciled, we will be saved in his life;

⁸ But I am saying that Christ Jesus has become a servant of the circumcision on behalf of the truth of God, that he might confirm the promises given to the fathers, ⁹ and that the Gentiles are to glorify God on behalf of his mercy; as it has been written, ‘Because of this, I will profess you among the Gentiles and sing-praise to your name.’ ¹⁰ And again he says, ‘Gentiles be joyous with his people.’ ¹¹ And again, ‘Praise the Lord, all the Gentiles, and let all the peoples praise him.’ ¹² And again, Isaiah says, ‘There will be the root of Jesse and he who raised up to rule over the Gentiles; upon him the Gentiles will hope.’

³⁰ But you are from him, in Christ Jesus, who has become to us wisdom and righteousness and holiness and redemption from God;

²⁰ Therefore, we are ambassadors on behalf of Christ; as though God is encouraging you through us. We are beseeching you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. ²¹ For the one who knew no sin, he was made the sin offering on our behalf; in order that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bondservant nor free man, there is no male and female; for you all are one in Christ Jesus.

¹² that you were separate from Christ at the time, having been alienated from the citizenship of Israel and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and were godless in the world.

¹⁶ and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having killed the hostility in himself. ¹⁷ And when he came, he proclaimed the good-news of peace to you who were from afar and peace to those who were near;

¹⁹ Therefore consequently, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens of the holy-ones and members of the household of God, ²⁰ having been built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone; ²¹ in whom all the building, fitly framed together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord; ²² in whom you are also built together into a residence of God in the Spirit.

⁵ which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations, as it now was revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit. ⁶ The mystery is that the Gentiles are to be joint heirs and a joint body and joint partakers of his promise in the Christ through the good-news, ⁷ of which I became a servant, according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power. ⁸ This grace was given to me the least of all the holy-ones, to proclaim the good-news of the untraceable riches of Christ among the Gentiles;

¹³ He rescued us out of the authority of darkness and transplanted us into the kingdom of the Son of his love; ¹⁴ in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins,

²⁰ and through him to reconcile all things to himself, whether things upon the earth or things upon the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross, through him. ²¹ And you were previously alienated and were enemies in mind, in evil works, but yet he reconciled you\super\'b0 ²² in the body of his flesh through his death, to present you holy and unblemished and irreproachable in his sight;

¹⁸ Hence even the first covenant has not been inaugurated without blood.

¹⁸ knowing that you were redeemed from your futile conduct handed down from your forefathers not with corruptible things like with silver or with gold. ¹⁹ But like that of an unblemished and unstained lamb, you were redeemed by the precious blood of Christ,

¹⁸ Because Christ also suffered once for all on behalf of our sins, the righteous on behalf of the unrighteous, in order that he might lead you to God; having indeed been slain in the flesh, but was given-life in the Spirit;

⁹ And they are singing a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals, because you were slaughtered and bought us in your blood for God out of every tribe and language and people and nation.

⁸ And Haman said to king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the peoples in all the provinces of your kingdom and their laws are diverse from those of every people, nor do they keep the king's laws. Therefore it is not for the king's profit to endure them.

⁶ For to us a child is born, to us a son is given. And the government will be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace.
⁷ Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from hereafter until everlasting. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.

²⁴ In that day Israel will be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth, ²⁵ in that Jehovah of hosts has blessed them, saying, Egypt my people is blessed and Assyria the work of my hands and Israel my inheritance.

²⁴ And I, Jehovah, will be their God and my servant David ruler among them. I, Jehovah, have spoken it.
²⁵ And I will make a covenant of peace with them and will cause evil beasts to cease out of the land and they will dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.

¹⁹ say to them, The lord Jehovah says thus: Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim and the tribes of Israel his companions and I will put them with it, even with the stick of Judah and make them one stick and they will be one in my hand. ²⁰ And the sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes.

⁵ And this man will be our peace.
When the Assyrian will come into our land and when he will tread in our palaces, then we will raise against him seven shepherds and eight principal men.

¹³ even he will build the temple of Jehovah. And he will bear the glory and will sit and rule upon his throne. And he will be a priest upon his throne and the counsel of peace will be between them both.

⁷⁹ to appear upon those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death; to steer our feet into the way of peace.

¹⁴ Glory to God in the highest, and peace upon earth, in men–delight.

⁵² and not only on behalf of the nation, but in order that he should also gather together into one the children of God who have been scattered.)

³³ I have spoken to you these things, in order that you may have peace in me. You have affliction in the world, but have courage; I have overcome the world.

²⁸ And he said to them, You yourselves know how it is an illegal thing for a man who is a Jew to be joined or to come to heathen, and yet God showed to me to speak of no man as common or unclean.

³⁶ The word which he sent to the sons of Israel, proclaiming the good-news of peace through Jesus Christ (this one is Lord of all).

¹ Therefore having been made righteous from faith, we have peace toward God through our Lord Jesus Christ;

¹² For just-as the body is one and has many members and all the members of the one body, being many, are one body; so also is the Christ. ¹³ For also, we were all immersed into one body, in one Spirit, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bondservants or free men, and all were made to drink into one Spirit.

¹⁵ having done-away-with the hostility in his flesh, which is the Law of commandments in decrees; in order that he might create in himself the two into one new man, thus making peace;

¹⁵ from whom every family in the heavens and upon the earth is named,

¹⁶ from whom all the body is fitly framed and knitted together, through every supplying joint, according to the working in measure of each part, which is making the growth of the body to the building up of itself in love.

²⁰ and through him to reconcile all things to himself, whether things upon the earth or things upon the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross, through him.

¹⁰ And you are fulfilled in him, who is the head of all principality and authority; ¹¹ in whom you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the stripping off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of the Christ, ¹² having been buried together with him in the immersion, in which you were also raised up together with him through the faith from the working of God, who raised him up from the dead. ¹³ And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, he made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses; ¹⁴ having wiped-away the handwriting in the decrees that were against us, which were an adversary to us. He has also taken these out of the midst of us, having nailed it to the cross,

²⁰ If you died together with Christ away from the fundamental principles of the world, why, (as though living in the world), are you submissive to its decrees:

¹⁵ And let the peace of God arbitrate in your hearts, for which you were also called in one body, and become thankful.

² to whom Abraham also divided a tenth away from all things. Being first, by translation, King of righteousness and thereafter also King of Salem, which is King of peace;

²⁰ Now the God of peace, who brought up the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus, from the dead in the blood of an everlasting covenant,

¹⁰ For as many as are from the works of the law are under a curse; for it has been written, ‘Cursed is everyone who is not remaining in all things which have been written in the book of the law, and to practice them.’

¹⁴ having wiped-away the handwriting in the decrees that were against us, which were an adversary to us. He has also taken these out of the midst of us, having nailed it to the cross,

¹⁶ who has become, not according to the Law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an indestructible life;

¹³ In the saying, a new covenant, the first has become-obsolete. But what becomes-obsolete and is aged, it is near to disappearing.

⁹ This tabernacle, (which is a figure toward the present time); according to which both gifts and sacrifices are offered, is not able to complete he who is giving-divine service to God according to the conscience, ¹⁰ being only fleshly ordinances, (upon the basis of foods, drinks and assorted ceremonial washings), laid upon us till a time of reformation.

²³ Therefore indeed, it was a necessity that the copies of the things in the heavens are to be cleansed with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

¹ For the law, having a shadow of the future good things, (not the same image of the matters), they are never able to complete those who come near with the same continual sacrifices which they are offering every year. ² Otherwise, why would they not have ceased being offered? Because those who are giving-divine service to God, once having been cleansed, would then have a conscience of sins no more. ³ But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance of sins every year. ⁴ For it is impossible that the blood of oxen and male-goats should take away sins. ⁵ Hence when he enters into the world, he says, ‘You did not wish to have sacrifice and offering, but you, yourself, completed a body for me. ⁶ You were not delighted in whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices concerning sin. ⁷ Then I said, (as it has been written concerning me in the volume of the book), Behold, I am coming to do your will, O God.’ ⁸ After saying this above, You do not wish, nor were you delighted in sacrifice and offering and whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices concerning sin, (which are offered according to the law), ⁹ then he has said, ‘Behold, I am coming to do your will, O God.’He assassinates
the first covenant, in order that he should establish the second covenant, ¹⁰ in which will, we have been made holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

¹⁹ Therefore brethren, having boldness for the entrance into the holy-places by the blood of Jesus, ²⁰ a way which he inaugurated for us, a fresh and living way, through the curtain, that is, his flesh; ²¹ and having a great priest over the house of God; ²² let us come near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, our hearts having been sprinkled away from an evil conscience and our body, having been fully-washed in clean water.

⁶ Knowing this, that our old man was crucified together with him, in order that the body of sin might be done-away, that we are to be enslaved to sin no longer;

³ For the law being powerless, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, having sent his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh;

⁷ because the mindset of the flesh is hostility toward God; for it is not subject to the law of God, for neither is it able to be;

¹⁸ But all things are from God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ and gave the service of reconciliation to us; ¹⁹ as that, God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ not counting to them their trespasses and having placed the word of reconciliation in us.

²⁰ I have been crucified together with Christ. I am now no longer living, but Christ is living in me and that life which I am now living in the flesh, I am living in faith, the faith which is of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up on my behalf.

¹ Therefore, Christ having suffered on our behalf who are in the flesh, (you also weaponize yourselves with the same mind), because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin; ² that you should no longer have your life, (the rest of your time in the flesh), in the lusts of men, but in the will of God.

⁷ For what great nation is there that has a god so near to them, as Jehovah our God is whenever we call upon him?

¹ We give thanks to you, O God. We give thanks, for your name is near. Men tell of your wondrous works.

¹ God is known in Judah. His name is great in Israel. ² His covering is in Salem also and his dwelling-place in Zion.

¹⁰ Mercy and truth are met together. Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

¹⁹ He shows his word to Jacob, his statutes and his ordinances to Israel. ²⁰ He has not dealt so with any nation. And as for his ordinances, they have not known them.
Praise Jehovah.

¹⁴ And he has lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his holy ones, even of the sons of Israel, a people near to him. Praise Jehovah.

⁵ Or else let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me. Yes, let him make peace with me.

⁷ How lovely are the feet of him who brings good news upon the mountains, who proclaims peace, who brings good news of good, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, Your God reigns!

¹⁹ I create the fruit of the lips. Peace, peace, to him who is far off and to him who is near, says Jehovah and I will heal him.
²⁰ But the wicked are like the troubled sea, for it cannot rest and its waters cast up mud and dirt. ²¹ There is no peace, says my God, to the wicked.

¹⁰ And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem and the battle bow will be cut off. And he will speak peace to the nations. And his dominion will be from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.

¹³ And if indeed the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.

⁹ and heal the sick who are in it and say to them, The kingdom of God has drawn near to you. ¹⁰ But into whatever city you enter, and if they do not accept you, when you have gone out into its streets, say, ¹¹ Even the dust from your city, that was stuck to us, we wipe off at you. However, know this, that the kingdom of God has drawn near to you.

⁵ And having found it, he places it upon his own shoulders, rejoicing. ⁶ And when he comes to his house, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice together with me, because I have found my sheep which has been lost.

²⁰ Therefore, we are ambassadors on behalf of Christ; as though God is encouraging you through us. We are beseeching you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

¹³ But now in Christ Jesus you who were previously from afar have become near to him in the blood of the Christ. ¹⁴ For he is our peace, who made us both one and tore-down the middle wall of the fence,

¹⁰ And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication. And they will look to me whom they have pierced. And they will mourn for him, as a man mourns for his only son and will be in bitterness for him, as a man who is in bitterness for his firstborn.

¹⁹ When you travel, make disciples of all the nations, immersing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

²¹ Jesus says to her, Woman, believe me, the hour is coming, when you will be worshiping the Father, neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem. ²² You worship what you do not know. We worship what we know, because salvation is from the Jews. ²³ But the hour is coming and now is, when the true worshipers will be worshiping the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father also is seeking such who are worshiping him.

⁷ Therefore Jesus said to them again, Assuredly, assuredly, I am saying to you, I am the door of the sheep.

⁹ I am the door; if anyone enters through me, he will be saved and will enter and will go out and will find pasture.

² through whom we also have had our access to this grace in the faith in which we are standing, and we are boasting in hope of the glory of God.

¹⁵ For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the spirit of sonship, in which we cry, Abba, Father.

²⁶ Now likewise, the Spirit is also jointly helping our weaknesses; for we do not know what we are praying for, that is according to what is essential for us; but the Spirit himself is petitioning on our behalf with unspeakable groans; ²⁷ and he who is searching the hearts knows what the mindset of the Spirit is, because he is petitioning on behalf of the holy-ones according to the will of God.

⁶ but to us, there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we are for him, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we are through him.

¹³ For also, we were all immersed into one body, in one Spirit, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bondservants or free men, and all were made to drink into one Spirit.

⁶ And because you are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

¹² in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through his faith.

¹⁴ Because of this, I am bowing my knees to the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,

⁴ There is one body and one Spirit, just-as you were also called in one hope of your calling;

¹⁸ through all prayer and supplication praying in all seasons in the Spirit and watching in this same thing in all perseverance and supplication concerning all the holy-ones.

¹² giving-thanks to the Father, who made us sufficient for the part of the inheritance of the holy-ones in the light.

¹⁵ For we do not have a high-priest who is unable to sympathize together with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted according to all things according to our likeness, yet without sin. ¹⁶ Therefore let us come near to the throne of the grace with boldness, in order that we may receive mercy and may find grace for opportune help.

¹⁹ (for the law completed nothing) and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we are drawing near to God.

¹⁹ Therefore brethren, having boldness for the entrance into the holy-places by the blood of Jesus, ²⁰ a way which he inaugurated for us, a fresh and living way, through the curtain, that is, his flesh;

⁹ We are giving-thanks to God and the Father with it and we curse men with it, those who have become according to the likeness of God.

¹⁷ And if you call upon the Father, who impartially judges according to the work of each one, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your foreign residency here;

¹ My little-children, these things I am writing to you in order that you may not sin. And if anyone should sin, we have a Helper with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. ² And he is the atonement concerning our sins, but not concerning ours only, but also concerning the whole world.

²⁰ But you, beloved, keep building yourselves up in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.

²⁵ It is enough for the disciple that he should become like his teacher and the bondservant like his lord. If they have called the householder Beelzebub, how much more the kinfolk!

²⁶ For you are all sons of God, through the faith, in Christ Jesus. ²⁷ For as many as were immersed into Christ were clothed with Christ. ²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bondservant nor free man, there is no male and female; for you all are one in Christ Jesus.

²⁶ But the Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of all of us. ²⁷ For it has been written, ‘Barren one who is not bearing children, be joyous; burst forth and cry, the one who are not travailing, because many more are the children of the desolate rather than from her who has the husband.’ ²⁸ Now brethren, we are children of the promise according to Isaac. ²⁹ But just-like then, he who was born according to the flesh was persecuting the one who was born according to the Spirit, so it is also now. ³⁰ But what does the Scripture say? Cast out the maidservant and her son; for the son of the maidservant may never inherit with the son of the free woman. \ulnone\nosupersub ³¹ Consequently, brethren, we are not children of a maidservant, but of the free woman.

¹⁰ Therefore consequently, as we have opportunity, we should work what is the good thing toward all men but especially in the household of the faith.

⁶ The mystery is that the Gentiles are to be joint heirs and a joint body and joint partakers of his promise in the Christ through the good-news,

²⁰ For our citizenship exists in the heavens; out of which we are also waiting for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

¹³ These all died according to faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them and having greeted them from farther out and having confessed that they are strangers and travelers upon the earth.

²² But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, to the heavenly Jerusalem, and to tens of thousands of messengers, ²³ to the festal-gathering and to the congregation of the firstborn ones, who have been registered in the heavens and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous who have been completed, ²⁴ and to Jesus the intermediary of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling which speaks better than that of Abel.

¹ Behold what sort of love the Father has given to us, in order that we might be called children of God. Because of this, the world does not know you, because it did not know him.

¹² having a great and high wall, having twelve gates and twelve messengers upon the gates, and names have been written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel. ¹³ Three gates were on the east and three gates were on the north, and three gates were on the south, and three gates were on the west. ¹⁴ And the wall of the city had twelve foundations and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. ¹⁵ And he, speaking with me, was holding a measure, a golden reed, in order that he might measure the city and its gates and its wall. ¹⁶ And the four cornered city is laid, and the length is as the width and he measured the city with the reed in furlongs, twelve thousand and twelve furlongs, the length and the width and its height are equal. ¹⁷ And he measured its wall, a hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, which is, of a messenger. ¹⁸ And the structure of its wall was jasper and the city was purest gold, similar to purest glass. ¹⁹ The foundations of the wall of the city have been adorned with every precious stone. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; ²⁰ the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, carnelian; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, hyacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. ²¹ And the twelve gates were twelve pearls apiece; each one of the gates was from one pearl, respectively and the street of the city was purest gold like transparent glass. ²² And I saw no temple in it; for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. ²³ And the city has no need of the sun, neither of the moon, in order that they should appear in it; for the glory of God illuminated it and its lamp is the Lamb. ²⁴ And the nations will be walking in its light and the kings of the earth bring glory to him and the honor of the nations into it. ²⁵ And its gates may never be locked by day (for there will be no night there). ²⁶ And they will be bringing the glory and the honor of the nations into it.

²² The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner.

¹⁶ Therefore thus says the lord Jehovah, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation, a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner- stone, a sure foundation. He who believes in him will never be shamed.

¹⁸ But I also say to you, that you are ^{F} Peter and upon this, the rock, I will be building my congregation of believers, and the gates of Hades will not be prevailing against her.

⁴² Jesus says to them, Have you never read in the Scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, this has become the head of the corner; this has become from the Lord and it is marvelous in our eyes?

¹⁰ Have you not even read this Scripture, ‘The stone which the builders rejected, this has become the head of the corner; ¹¹ this came from the Lord and it is marvelous in our eyes’?

¹⁷ But he looked at them and said, Therefore what is this that has been written, ‘The stone which the builders rejected, this one has become the head of the corner'? ¹⁸ Everyone who falls upon that stone will be shattered, but upon whomever it falls, it will be smashing him.

¹¹ He is, ‘The stone scorned by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’ ¹² And there is salvation in none other; for neither is there any other name, that has been given among men, in which it is essential for us to be saved.

⁹ For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s cultivation, God’s building.
¹⁰ According to the grace of God which was given to me, I have laid a foundation like a wise expert-builder, and another is building upon it. But let each one beware how he is building upon it. ¹¹ For no one is able to lay another foundation beside what is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

²⁸ And indeed God placed some in the congregation of believers, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, thereafter miracles, thereafter gifts of healing, helps, those who pilot others, those with varieties of languages.

⁹ And having known the grace which was given to me, James and Cephas and John, (those reputed to be pillars), gave to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, that indeed we should go to the Gentiles but they should go to the circumcision,

¹¹ And he gave some to be : the apostles, and the prophets, and the evangelists, and the shepherds and teachers ¹² for the equipping of the holy-ones, for the work of the service, for the building up of the body of the Christ, ¹³ till we all might achieve to the unity of the faith and of the full knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ,

⁴ coming to whom is a living stone, having indeed been rejected by men, but chosen and precious with God. ⁵ You, yourselves, like living stones, are also built up as a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

⁷ Therefore, to those who believe is the honor, but to the disobedient, ‘ The stone which the builders rejected, this became to them the head of the corner'; ⁸ and, ‘A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense'; those who are stumbling in the word, being disobedient, toward which they were also appointed.

¹⁴ And the wall of the city had twelve foundations and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

¹ Moreover you will make the tabernacle with ten curtains, of fine twined linen and blue and purple and scarlet, with cherubim the work of the skillful workman will you make them. ² The length of each curtain will be twenty-eight cubits and the breadth of each curtain four cubits. All the curtains will have one measure. ³ Five curtains will be coupled together one to another and the other five curtains will be coupled one to another. ⁴ And you will make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling and likewise you will make in the edge of the curtain that is outmost in the second coupling. ⁵ Fifty loops you will make in the one curtain and fifty loops you will make in the edge of the curtain that is in the second coupling; the loops will be opposite one to another. ⁶ And you will make fifty clasps of gold and couple the curtains one to another with the clasps. And the tabernacle will be one whole.
⁷ And you will make curtains of goats' hair for a tent over the tabernacle. Eleven curtains you will make them. ⁸ The length of each curtain will be thirty cubits and the breadth of each curtain four cubits. The eleven curtains will have one measure. ⁹ And you will couple five curtains by themselves and six curtains by themselves and will double over the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tent. ¹⁰ And you will make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outmost in the coupling and fifty loops upon the edge of the curtain which is outmost in the second coupling. ¹¹ And you will make fifty clasps of brass and put the clasps into the loops and couple the tent together, that it may be one. ¹² And the overhanging part that remains of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, will hang over the back of the tabernacle. ¹³ And the cubit on the one side and the cubit on the other side, of what remains in the length of the curtains of the tent, will hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it.
¹⁴ And you will make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red and a covering of certain skins above.
¹⁵ And you will make the boards for the tabernacle of acacia wood, standing up. ¹⁶ Ten cubits will be the length of a board and a cubit and a half the breadth of each board. ¹⁷ There will be two tenons in each board, joined one to another. Thus you will make for all the boards of the tabernacle. ¹⁸ And you will make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards for the south side southward.
¹⁹ And you will make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards: two sockets under one board for its two tenons and two sockets under another board for its two tenons. ²⁰ And for the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side, twenty boards, ²¹ and their forty sockets of silver: two sockets under one board and two sockets under another board.
²² And for the hinder part of the tabernacle westward you will make six boards. ²³ And you will make two boards for the corners of the tabernacle in the hinder part. ²⁴ And they will be double beneath and in like manner they will be entire to the top of it to one ring. Thus it will be for them both, they will be for the two corners. ²⁵ And there will be eight boards and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets: two sockets under one board and two sockets under another board.
²⁶ And you will make bars of acacia wood: five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle, ²⁷ and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the hinder part westward. ²⁸ And the middle bar in the midst of the boards will pass through from end to end.
²⁹ And you will overlay the boards with gold and make their rings of gold for places for the bars. And you will overlay the bars with gold. ³⁰ And you will raise up the tabernacle according to the fashion of it which has been shown you on the mountain.
³¹ And you will make a veil of blue and purple and scarlet and fine twined linen. With cherubim, it will be made the work of the skillful workman. ³² And you will hang it upon four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold, their hooks will be of gold, upon four sockets of silver. ³³ And you will hang up the veil under the clasps and will bring in there within the veil the ark of the testimony. And the veil will separate to you* between the holy place and the most holy.
³⁴ And you will put the mercy-seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place. ³⁵ And you will set the table outside the veil and the lamp-stand opposite the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south. And you will put the table on the north side.
³⁶ And you will make a screen for the door of the tent, of blue and purple and scarlet and fine twined linen, the work of the embroiderer. ³⁷ And you will make for the screen five pillars of acacia and overlay them with gold. Their hooks will be of gold and you will cast five sockets of brass for them.

⁷ And the house, when it was being built, was built of stone made ready at the quarry. And there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was being built.

⁵ Your testimonies are very sure. Holiness is lovely to your house, O Jehovah, forever.

¹ In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was struck, in the same day, the hand of Jehovah was upon me and he brought me there. ² He brought me in the visions of God into the land of Israel and set me down upon a very high mountain, upon which was as it were the frame of a city on the south.
³ And he brought me there, and behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand and a measuring reed. And he stood in the gate.
⁴ And the man said to me, Son of man, behold with your eyes and hear with your ears and set your heart upon all that I will show you. For you are brought here to the intent that I may show them to you. Declare all that you see to the house of Israel. ⁵ And behold, a wall on the outside of the house all around and in the man's hand a measuring reed six cubits long, of a cubit and a handbreadth each. So he measured the thickness of the building, one reed and the height, one reed.
⁶ Then he came to the gate which looks toward the east and went up the steps of it. And he measured the threshold of the gate, one reed broad and the other threshold, one reed broad. ⁷ And every little chamber was one reed long and one reed broad and the space between the little chambers was five cubits. And the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate toward the house was one reed.
⁸ He also measured the porch of the gate toward the house, one reed. ⁹ Then he measured the porch of the gate, eight cubits and the posts of it, two cubits. And the porch of the gate was toward the house. ¹⁰ And the little chambers of the gate eastward were three on this side and three on that side; those three were of one measure. And the posts had one measure on this side and on that side. ¹¹ And he measured the breadth of the opening of the gate, ten cubits and the length of the gate, thirteen cubits, ¹² and a border before the little chambers, one cubit on this side and a border, one cubit on that side and the little chambers, six cubits on this side and six cubits on that side. ¹³ And he measured the gate from the roof of the one little chamber to the roof of the other, a breadth of twenty-five cubits, door against door. ¹⁴ He also made posts, sixty cubits. And the court reached to the posts, all around the gate. ¹⁵ And from the forefront of the gate at the entrance to the forefront of the inner porch of the gate were fifty cubits. ¹⁶ And there were closed windows to the little chambers and to their posts within the gate all around and likewise to the arches. And windows were all around inward and upon each post were palm trees.
¹⁷ Then he brought me into the outer court. And behold, there were chambers and a pavement, made for the court all around; thirty chambers were upon the pavement. ¹⁸ And the pavement was by the side of the gates, answerable to the length of the gates, even the lower pavement. ¹⁹ Then he measured the breadth from the forefront of the lower gate to the forefront of the inner court outside, a hundred cubits, both on the east and on the north. ²⁰ And the gate of the outer court whose view is toward the north, he measured the length of it and the breadth of it. ²¹ And the little chambers of it were three on this side and three on that side. And the posts of it and the arches of it were according to the measure of the first gate: the length of it was fifty cubits and the breadth twenty-five cubits. ²² And the windows of it and the arches of it and the palm trees of it, were according to the measure of the gate whose view is toward the east. And they went up to it by seven steps and the arches of it were before them. ²³ And there was a gate to the inner court opposite the other gate, both on the north and on the east and he measured from gate to gate a hundred cubits. ²⁴ And he led me toward the south. And behold, a gate toward the south. And he measured the posts of it and the arches of it according to these measures. ²⁵ And there were windows in it and in the arches of it all around, like those windows: the length was fifty cubits and the breadth twenty-five cubits. ²⁶ And there were seven steps to go up to it and the arches of it were before them. And it had palm trees, one on this side and another on that side, upon the posts of it. ²⁷ And there was a gate to the inner court toward the south. And he measured from gate to gate toward the south a hundred cubits.
²⁸ Then he brought me to the inner court by the south gate. And he measured the south gate according to these measures, ²⁹ and the little chambers of it and the posts of it and the arches of it, according to these measures. And there were windows in it and in the arches of it all around. It was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits broad. ³⁰ And there were arches all around, twenty-five cubits long and five cubits broad. ³¹ And the arches of it were toward the outer court and palm trees were upon the posts of it. And the ascent to it had eight steps.
³² And he brought me into the inner court toward the east. And he measured the gate according to these measures, ³³ and the little chambers of it and the posts of it and the arches of it, according to these measures. And there were windows in it and in the arches of it all around. It was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits broad. ³⁴ And the arches of it were toward the outer court and palm trees were upon the posts of it, on this side and on that side. And the ascent to it had eight steps.
³⁵ And he brought me to the north gate. And he measured it according to these measures, ³⁶ the little chambers of it, the posts of it and the arches of it. And there were windows in it all around. The length was fifty cubits and the breadth twenty-five cubits. ³⁷ And the posts of it were toward the outer court and palm trees were upon the posts of it, on this side and on that side. And the ascent to it had eight steps. ³⁸ And a chamber with the door of it was by the posts at the gates. There they washed the burnt offering. ³⁹ And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side and two tables on that side, to kill on it the burnt offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering. ⁴⁰ And on the one side outside, at the going up to the entry of the gate toward the north, were two tables and on the other side, which belonged to the porch of the gate, were two tables. ⁴¹ Four tables were on this side and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate, eight tables, upon which they killed the sacrifices. ⁴² And there were four tables for the burnt offering, of hewn stone, a cubit and a half long and a cubit and a half broad and one cubit high, upon which they laid the instruments of which they killed the burnt offering and the sacrifice.

¹² And according to the doors of the chambers that were toward the south was a door at the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as entering into them.

¹⁶ Do you not know that you are a temple of God and the Spirit of God is dwelling in you? ¹⁷ If anyone corrupts the temple of God, God will have corruption for this one; for the temple of God is holy, which you are.

¹⁶ And what alliance has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God; just-as God said, ‘I will be dwelling among them and will be walking among them, and I will be their God and they will be a people to me.’

¹³ till we all might achieve to the unity of the faith and of the full knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ, ¹⁴ in order that we may no longer be infants, bobbing on the waves and being carried around in every wind of teaching, in the trickery of men, in craftiness, toward the schemes of error. ¹⁵ But telling the truth in love, that we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, the Christ; ¹⁶ from whom all the body is fitly framed and knitted together, through every supplying joint, according to the working in measure of each part, which is making the growth of the body to the building up of itself in love.

³ For he has been deemed worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as the one who constructed the house has more honor than the house. ⁴ For every house is constructed by someone, but the one who constructed all things is God.

¹⁷ the Spirit of the truth, whom the world is not able to receive, because it does not view him, nor knows him, but you know him, because he is abiding with you and will be in you. ¹⁸ I will not be leaving you orphans. I am coming to you. ¹⁹ Still a little while and the world views me no more, but you view me, because I am living, you will also be living. ²⁰ You will know in that day that I am in my Father and you in me and I in you. ²¹ He who holds my commandments and is keeping them, that one is he who loves me and he who loves me will be loved by my Father and I will love him and will be manifesting myself to him.
²² Judas (not Iscariot) says to him, Lord, what has happened that you are about to manifest yourself to us and not to the world?
²³ Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves me, he will be keeping my word and my Father will love him, and we will be coming to him and we will be making our abode with him.

²¹ in order that they may all be one; just-as you, Father, are in me and I in you; in order that they may also be one in us; in order that the world may believe that you sent me. ²² And the glory which you have given me I have given to them; they may be one, just-as we are one; ²³ I am in them and you are in me, in order that they may be completed into one and the world may know that you sent me and you loved them, just-as you loved me.

⁹ But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God is dwelling in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his. ¹⁰ But if Christ is in you, the body is indeed dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of righteousness. ¹¹ But if the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus up from the dead is dwelling in you, he who raised the Christ up from the dead will also be giving-life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who is dwelling in you.

¹⁶ Do you not know that you are a temple of God and the Spirit of God is dwelling in you?

¹⁹ Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? And you are not your own;

¹⁷ for the Christ to dwell in your hearts through the faith,

²⁴ And he who is keeping his commandments abides in him and he in him. And we know in this that he abides in us, from the Spirit whom he gave us.

¹³ We know in this that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given to us from his Spirit.

¹⁶ And we have known and have believed the love which God has in us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God and God abides in him.
