³⁶ And the king sent and called for Shimei and said to him, Build a house in Jerusalem for you and dwell there and do not go forth from there anywhere.

²⁴ And the king said, Let him turn to his own house, but let him not see my face. So Absalom turned to his own house and did not see the king's face.
