¹⁰ and workings of miracles to another; and prophecy to another; and the discernings of spirits to another; varieties of languages to a different one; and the translation of foreign languages to another;

²⁵ And Jehovah came down in the cloud and spoke to him and took of the spirit that was upon him and put it upon the seventy elders. And it happened, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, but they did so no more.
²⁶ But there remained two men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad and the name of the other Medad. And the spirit rested upon them. And they were of those who were written, but had not gone out to the tent. And they prophesied in the camp. ²⁷ And a young man ran and told Moses and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp. ²⁸ And Joshua the son of Nun, the minister of Moses, one of his chosen men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.
²⁹ And Moses said to him, Are you jealous for my sake? Would that all of Jehovah's people were prophets, that Jehovah would put his spirit upon them!

¹⁰ And when they came there to the hill, behold, a band of prophets met him. And the Spirit of God came mightily upon him and he prophesied among them.
¹¹ And it happened, when all who knew him formerly saw, that, behold, he prophesied with the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that has come to the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets? ¹² And a man from the same place answered and said, And who is their father? Therefore it became a proverb, Is Saul also among the prophets?
¹³ And when he had made an end of prophesying, he came to the high place.

²⁰ And Saul sent messengers to take David. And when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying and Samuel standing as head over them, the Spirit of God came upon the messengers of Saul and they also prophesied. ²¹ And when it was told Saul, he sent other messengers and they also prophesied. And Saul sent messengers again the third time and they also prophesied.
²² Then he also went to Ramah and came to the great well that is in Secu. And he asked and said, Where are Samuel and David? And one said, Behold, they are at Naioth in Ramah.
²³ And he went there to Naioth in Ramah and the Spirit of God came upon him also and he went on and prophesied until he came to Naioth in Ramah. ²⁴ And he also stripped off his clothes and he also prophesied before Samuel and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Therefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?

¹ Now these are the last words of David. David the son of Jesse says and the man who was raised on high says, the anointed of the God of Jacob and the sweet psalmist of Israel:
² The Spirit of Jehovah spoke by me and his word was upon my tongue.

²⁸ And it will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh and your* sons and your* daughters will prophesy. Your* old men will dream dreams. Your* young men will see visions.

¹⁷ Now these signs will be following those who have believed: they will be casting out demons in my name; they will be speaking in new languages;

²⁰ Now those apostles went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working together with them, and confirming the word through the signs that followed. Amen.

⁴⁹ And behold, I am sending the promise of my Father upon you, but you stick-around in the city of Jerusalem, until you should be clothed with power from on high.

¹² Assuredly, assuredly, I am saying to you, He who believes in me, the works which I am doing, he will also be doing, and he will be doing greater works than these, because I am traveling on to my Father.

¹³ But whenever that one, the Spirit of the truth, comes, he will be guiding you into all the truth; for he will not be speaking from himself, but as many things as he may hear, these he will be speaking and he will be reporting to you the things which are to come.

⁸ But you will be receiving power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be witnesses to me, both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the outermost parts of the earth.

⁴ And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, just-as the Spirit was giving to them to speak out. ⁵ Now Jews were dwelling in Jerusalem, devout men, from every nation under heaven. ⁶ But when the voice from this happened, the multitude came together and was confused, because each one was hearing them speaking in his own language. ⁷ Now they were astonished and marveling, saying to one another, Behold, are these not all Galileans who are speaking? ⁸ And how are we hearing each one in our own language in which we were born? ⁹ Parthians and Medes and Elamites and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, in Judea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus and Asia, ¹⁰ in Phrygia and Pamphylia, in Egypt and the parts of Libya toward Cyrene and the inhabiting Romans, both Jews and Jewish-converts, ¹¹ Cretans and Arabs, we hear them speaking in our languages the magnificent things of God. ¹² Now all were astonished and were perplexed, saying to one another, What might this wish to be?

¹⁷ God says, ‘And it will be in the last days, I will pour out from My Spirit upon all flesh and your sons and your daughters will prophesy and your young-men will see visions and your elderly-men will dream dreams. ¹⁸ For-sure, I will pour out of my Spirit upon my male bondservants and upon my female bondservants in those days, and they will prophesy.

²⁹ Brethren, it is legal for me to speak publicly to you concerning the patriarch David, that he is both dead and was buried and his tomb is among us to this day. ³⁰ Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that from the fruit of his loins, to raise up the Christ according to the flesh to sit upon his throne.

³ But Peter said, Ananias, why has the Adversary filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to pilfer part of the price of the parcel of ground?

⁴⁶ For they were hearing them speak in foreign languages and extolling God.
Then Peter answered, ⁴⁷ Is anyone able to forbid the water, that these people should not be immersed, who have received the Holy Spirit as well as we?

²⁸ Now there stood up one of them, Agabus by name, and he signified through the Spirit that a great famine is about to be upon the whole inhabited-earth; which also happened on the days of Claudius Caesar.

⁶ And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they were speaking in foreign languages and were prophesying.

⁹ Now there was to this one four prophesying virgin daughters. ¹⁰ Now while we are remaining there even more days, a certain prophet from Judea, Agabus by name, came down.

⁶ Now having assorted gifts according to the grace which was given to us; if prophecy, then prophesy according to the analogy of the faith;

¹⁹ in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit of God. So-then, I have fulfilled the good-news of the Christ from Jerusalem and in a circle, as far as Illyricum.

²⁸ And indeed God placed some in the congregation of believers, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, thereafter miracles, thereafter gifts of healing, helps, those who pilot others, those with varieties of languages. ²⁹ All are not apostles, are they? All are not prophets, are they? All are not teachers, are they? All are not workers of miracles, are they? ³⁰ All do not have gifts of healing, do they? All do not speak with foreign languages, do they? All do not translate, do they?

¹ If I speak with the languages of men and of messengers, but do not have love, I have become like noisy brass or a clanging cymbal. ² And if I have the gift of prophecy and if I know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so-then to remove mountains, but if I do not have love, I am nothing.

⁸ Love never falls short.
But if there are prophesies, they will be done-away; if there are foreign languages, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done-away.

¹ Pursue love; but yet be zealous for spiritual gifts, but rather in order that you may prophesy. ² For he who speaks in a foreign language does not speak to men, but to God; for no one hears with understanding, but he speaks mysteries in the spirit. ³ But he who prophesies speaks to men for building up and encouragement and consolation. ⁴ He who speaks in a foreign language builds himself up, but he who prophesies builds up the congregation. ⁵ Now I wish for all of you to speak with foreign languages, but more in order that you may prophesy, for greater is he who prophesies than he who speaks with foreign languages, unless he translates, in order that the congregation may receive building up.

²³ Therefore, if the whole congregation comes together in the same place, and if all speak with foreign languages, and if unskilled or unbelieving people come in, will they not be saying that you are insane? ²⁴ But if all prophesy and some unbelieving or unskilled person comes in, he is reproved by all. He is judged by all.

²⁶ Therefore brethren, what is it? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a foreign language, has a translation. Let all things happen for the building up. ²⁷ If anyone speaks in a foreign language, let it be according to two or three at the most and individually, and let one translate. ²⁸ But if there is no translator, let him be silent in the congregation, and let him speak to himself and to God. ²⁹ But let the prophets speak by two or three and let the others discern.

³¹ For all of you are able to prophesy, one by one, in order that all may learn and all might be encouraged. ³² The spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets;

³⁹ So-then brethren, be zealous to prophesy and do not forbid people to speak with foreign languages.

⁵ Therefore, is the one supplying the Spirit to you, and working miracles among you, are they from the works of the law or from the report of faith?

²⁰ Do not scorn prophesying.

⁴ God was testifying together with them, both by signs and by wonders and by various powers and by distributions of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will.

²⁰ Knowing this first, that every prophecy of Scripture does not come from one’s own interpretation. ²¹ For no prophecy was ever brought about by the will of man, but the holy men of God spoke the word being carried by the Holy Spirit.

¹ Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, to see if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

² I know your works and your labor and endurance and that you are not able to bear evil men and you tested those who are saying about themselves, They are apostles and are not and you have found them false;
