²⁴ Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves.

²² You shall not lie with mankind as with womankind. It is abomination to God.

¹¹ But My people would not listen to My voice, and Israel would have none of Me. ¹² So I gave them up to the stubbornness of their own hearts; and they walked in their own conceits.

¹⁷ Ephraim is joined to idols; let him alone. ¹⁸ Their drink is sour; they are continually fornicating; her rulers dearly love shame.

¹⁴ Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

⁴² Then God turned and gave them over to serve the host of the heavens, as it is written in the book of the Prophets: "O house of Israel, have you offered to Me slain beasts and sacrifices forty years in the wilderness?

¹⁶ who in past generations allowed all nations to walk in their own ways.

²⁹ Then being offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like gold or silver or stone, engraved by art and man's imagination. ³⁰ Truly, then, God overlooking the times of ignorance, now He strictly commands all men everywhere to repent,

²⁶ For this cause, God gave them up to dishonorable affections. For even their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature. ²⁷ And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another; males with males working out shamefulness, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was fitting for their error. ²⁸ And even as they did not think fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do the things not right,

¹² Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. ¹³ Meats for the belly and the belly for meats, but God shall destroy both it and them. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord is for the body.

¹⁸ Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits fornication sins against his own body.

¹⁸ having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart. ¹⁹ For they, being past feeling, have given themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

⁴ each one of you to know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor

¹⁰ and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, so that they might be saved. ¹¹ And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie, ¹² so that all those who do not believe the truth, but delight in unrighteousness, might be condemned.

²⁰ But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor. ²¹ Therefore if anyone purges himself from these, he shall be a vessel to honor, sanctified and useful to the Master, prepared for every good work. ²² But flee youthful lusts, and follow righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
