¹ To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. In You, O Jehovah, I put my trust; let me never be ashamed; deliver me in Your righteousness.

⁸ Jehovah shall judge the people; judge me, O Jehovah, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity on me. ⁹ O let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the just. For the righteous God tries the minds and hearts.

⁴ Our fathers trusted in You; they trusted, and You delivered them. ⁵ They cried to You, and were delivered; they trusted in You, and were not ashamed.

² O my God, I trust in You; do not let me be ashamed, let not my enemies triumph over me.

¹ Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. Oh deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

¹ In You, O Jehovah, I put my trust; let me never be put to shame. ² Deliver me in Your righteousness, and cause me to escape; bow down Your ear to me, and save me. ³ Be a rock of refuge for me, to which I may always go; You have commanded to save me; for You are my Rock and my Fortress.

¹ A Psalm of David. Hear my prayer O Jehovah; give ear to my supplications; in Your faithfulness and in Your righteousness answer me.

¹¹ O Jehovah, for Your name's sake enliven me; for Your righteousness' sake, bring my soul out of trouble. ¹² And out of Your mercy cut off my enemies, and destroy all those who afflict my soul; for I am Your servant.

²³ And kings shall be your nursing fathers, and their queens your nurses. They shall bow to you, faces to the earth, and lick up the dust of your feet; and you shall know that I am Jehovah; by whom they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me.

¹⁶ O Lord, I pray You, according to all Your righteousness let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain. Because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people have become a curse to all those who are around us.

⁵ And hope does not make us ashamed, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit given to us.

¹¹ For the Scripture says, "Everyone believing on Him shall not be put to shame."
