²⁴ And the king commanded, and they brought those men who had accused Daniel, and they threw them into the lions' den; them, their sons, and their wives. And the lions overpowered them and broke all their bones in pieces before they came to the bottom of the den.

⁵ I will be as the dew to Israel; he shall grow as the lily and cast out his roots like Lebanon.

⁷ And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples, as dew from Jehovah, as showers on a blade of the grass, which does not wait for man, nor delay for the sons of men.

⁴ And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. ⁵ But I will warn you of whom you shall fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yea, I say to you, fear Him.
