²⁰ And behold, a woman, who had a flow of blood for twelve years, came up behind Him and touched the hem of His garment.

²⁵ And if a woman has an issue of her blood many days outside of the time of her impurity, or if she issues it beyond the time of her impurity, all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her impurity. She is unclean. ²⁶ Every bed on which she lies all the days of her issue shall be to her as the bed of her impurity. And whatever she sits on shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her impurity. ²⁷ And whoever touches those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening. ²⁸ But if she is cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean. ²⁹ And on the eighth day she shall take two turtle-doves to her, or two young pigeons, and bring them to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. ³⁰ And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering. And the priest shall make atonement for her before Jehovah for the issue of her uncleanness. ³¹ So you shall separate the sons of Israel from their uncleanness, so that they do not die in their uncleanness when they defile My tabernacle that is among them. ³² This is the law of him that has an issue, and of him whose semen goes from him and is defiled with it, ³³ and of her that is menstruating, and of him that has an issue, of the man, and of the woman, and of him that lies with an unclean woman.

³⁸ Speak to the sons of Israel and command them that they make fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribbon of blue. ³⁹ And it shall be to you for a fringe, that you may look upon it and remember all the commands of Jehovah, and do them; and so that you do not seek after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you prostitute yourself,

¹² You shall make for yourself tassels on the four corners of your cloak with which you cover.

³⁶ And they begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His robe. And as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

⁵ But they do all their works in order to be seen of men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments.

²⁵ And a certain woman who had had an issue of blood twelve years, ²⁶ and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and had not been bettered any, but rather came to worse, ²⁷ having heard about Jesus, she came in the press behind and touched His garment. ²⁸ For she said, If I may but touch only His clothes, I will be cured. ²⁹ And instantly the fountain of her blood dried up. And she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. ³⁰ And knowing instantly within Himself that power had gone out of Him, Jesus turned Himself around in the press and said, Who touched My clothes? ³¹ And His disciples said to Him, You see the crowd pressing on You, and do You say, Who touched Me? ³² And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. ³³ But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had been done in her, came and fell down before Him and told Him all the truth. ³⁴ And He said to her, Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be whole from your plague. ³⁵ While He still spoke, they came from the synagogue ruler's house, saying, Your daughter is dead; why do you still trouble the Teacher? ³⁶ But hearing the word spoken, Jesus said to the synagogue ruler, Do not be afraid, only believe. ³⁷ And He allowed no one to follow Him, except Peter and James and John, the brother of James. ³⁸ And He came to the synagogue ruler's and saw a tumult, and weeping and much wailing. ³⁹ And going in He said to them, Why do you make a tumult and weep? The girl is not dead, but sleeps. ⁴⁰ And they laughed at Him. But when He had put them all out, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those with Him, and went in where the child was lying. ⁴¹ And He took the child's hand and said to her, Talitha koumi; (which interpreted is, Little girl, I say to you, Arise!) ⁴² And instantly the little girl arose and walked (for she was twelve years old). And they were astonished with a great astonishment. ⁴³ And He strictly warned them that no one should know this. And He said to give her something to eat.

⁵⁶ And wherever He entered, into villages or cities or country, they laid the sick in the streets and begged Him if only they might touch but the fringe of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made whole.

²² And He came to Bethsaida. And they brought a blind man to Him and begged Him to touch him.

⁴³ And a woman who had a flow of blood twelve years (who had spent all her living on physicians, and could not be healed by any) ⁴⁴ came behind Him and touched the border of His garment. And instantly her flow of blood was staunched. ⁴⁵ And Jesus said, Who touched Me? And all having denied, Peter and those with Him said, Master, the crowd presses and jostles You, and You say, Who touched Me? ⁴⁶ And Jesus said, Someone has touched Me, for I know that power has gone out of Me. ⁴⁷ And seeing that she was not hidden, the woman came trembling. And falling down before Him, she declared to Him before all the people why she had touched Him, and how she was instantly healed. ⁴⁸ And He said to her, Daughter, be comforted. Your faith has saved you; go in peace. ⁴⁹ He was still speaking when someone came from the synagogue-ruler, saying to him, Your daughter is dead, do not trouble the Teacher. ⁵⁰ But when Jesus heard, He answered Him, saying, Do not fear, only believe and she shall be healed. ⁵¹ And coming into the house, He allowed no one to go in, except Peter and James and John, and the father and the mother of the girl. ⁵² And all were weeping and bewailing her. But He said, Do not weep; she has not died, but sleeps. ⁵³ And they ridiculed, knowing that she was dead. ⁵⁴ And He put them all out. And He took her by the hand and called, saying, Little girl, arise! ⁵⁵ And her spirit came again, and she arose immediately. And He commanded that food be given her to eat. ⁵⁶ And her parents were astonished. But He charged them to tell no one the thing that happened.

¹⁵ So as to carry out the sick into the streets and place them on cots and mattresses, so that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

¹² so that even handkerchiefs or aprons from his skin being brought onto the sick, the diseases were released, and the evil spirits went out of them.
