³⁵ The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but My Words shall not pass away.

¹⁹ God is not a man that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

⁷ The Law of Jehovah is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of Jehovah is sure, making the simple wise.

³⁴ I will not break My covenant, nor change the thing that has gone out of My lips.

²⁶ They shall perish, but You shall endure; yea, all of them shall become old like a garment; like a robe You shall change them, and they shall be changed;

⁵ Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.

⁴ And all the host of the heavens shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled like a scroll; and all their host shall droop, as a leaf falls off from the vine, and as the falling from the fig tree.

⁸ The grass withers, the flower fades; but the Word of our God shall stand forever.

⁶ Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look on the earth beneath; for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall become old like a garment; and its inhabitants shall die in the same way. But My salvation shall be forever, and My righteousness shall not be broken.

¹⁰ For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall the covenant of My peace be removed, says Jehovah who has mercy on you.

¹¹ so shall My Word be, which goes out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall certainly do what I sent it to do.

³⁵ So says Jehovah, who gives the sun for a light by day and the laws of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who divides the sea when its waves roar; Jehovah of Hosts is His name; ³⁶ if those ordinances depart from Me, says Jehovah, the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before Me forever.

¹⁸ For truly I say to you, Till the heaven and the earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle shall in any way pass from the Law until all is fulfilled.

² on hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the eternal times,

¹¹ They shall perish, but You will remain. And they shall all become old as a garment, ¹² and as a covering You shall fold them up, and they shall be changed. But You are the same, and Your years shall not fail."

²⁵ but the Word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the Word preached as gospel to you.

⁷ But the present heavens and the earth being kept in store by the same Word, are being kept for fire until the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. ⁸ But, beloved, let not this one thing be hidden from you, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. ⁹ The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not purposing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. ¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat. And the earth and the works in it will be burned up. ¹¹ Then, all these things being about to be dissolved, what sort ought you to be in holy behavior and godliness, ¹² looking for and rushing the coming of the Day of God, on account of which the heavens, being on fire, will melt away, and the elements will melt, burning with heat?

¹⁴ And to the angel of the church of the Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Head of the creation of God, says these things:

¹⁴ And the heaven departed like a scroll when it is rolled together. And every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and Him sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And a place was not found for them.
