³² And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him. But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this world or in the world to come.

¹³ But the ungodly in heart heap up wrath; they cry not when He binds them.

¹⁹ The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man who is a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax-collectors and sinners. But wisdom was justified by her children.

³¹ Therefore I say to you, All kinds of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven to men, but the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven to men.

⁵⁵ Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And his brothers, James and Joses and Simon and Judas,

²⁹ But he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never shall have forgiveness, but is liable to eternal condemnation.

³⁰ but he shall receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands with persecutions, and in the world to come, eternal life.

³⁴ The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, Behold a gluttonous man and a winebibber, a friend of tax-collectors and sinners!

¹⁰ And whoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him. But to him who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven.

²³ And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. ²⁴ And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame. ²⁵ But Abraham said, Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things. But now he is comforted and you are tormented. ²⁶ And besides all this, there is a great chasm fixed between you and us; so that they desiring to pass from here to you cannot, nor can they pass over to us from there.

³⁴ And answering, Jesus said to them, The sons of this world marry and are given in marriage, ³⁵ but they who shall be counted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage.

³⁴ And Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do. And parting His clothing, they cast lots.

¹² And there was much murmuring among the crowd concerning Him, for some said, He is a good man; others said, No, but he deceives the crowd.

³⁹ (But He spoke this about the Spirit, which they who believed on Him should receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.)

⁵² They answered and said to him, Are you also from Galilee? Search the scriptures and see that a prophet has not been raised out of Galilee.

¹⁴ But you denied the Holy and Just One and desired a murderer to be given to you. ¹⁵ And you killed the Prince of Life, whom God has raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

¹⁹ Therefore repent and convert so that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

⁹ I truly thought within myself that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth, ¹⁰ which I also did in Jerusalem. And I shut up many of the saints in prisons, having received authority from the chief priests. And they being put to death, I cast a vote. ¹¹ And I punished them often in every synagogue; I compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly furious against them, I persecuted them even to the outside cities.

²¹ far above all principality and authority and power and dominion, and every name being named, not only in this world, but also in the coming age.

¹³ the one who before was a blasphemer and a persecutor and insolent. But I obtained mercy, because being ignorant, I did it in unbelief.

¹⁵ Faithful is the Word and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

¹² teaching us that having denied ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live discreetly, righteously and godly, in this present world,

⁴ For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, ⁵ and have tasted the good Word of God and the powers of the world to come, ⁶ and who have fallen away; it is impossible, I say, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify the Son of God afresh to themselves and put Him to an open shame.

²⁶ For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, ²⁷ but a certain fearful looking for judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. ²⁸ He who despised Moses' Law died without mercy on the word of two or three witnesses. ²⁹ Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy of punishment, the one who has trampled the Son of God, and who has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?
