Luke 22 Cross References - MKJV

1 And the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which is called the Passover, drew near. 2 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill Him, for they feared the people. 3 And Satan entered into Judas, surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the Twelve. 4 And going, he talked with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him to them. 5 And they were glad and they agreed to give him silver. 6 And he fully consented, and he sought opportunity to betray Him to them, away from the crowd. 7 And the day of the Unleavened Bread came, when the passover must be killed. 8 And He sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare the passover for us, so that we may eat. 9 And they said to Him. Where do You desire that we prepare? 10 And He said to them, Behold, when you have entered into the city, you will meet a man bearing a pitcher of water. Follow him into the house where he enters. 11 And you shall say to the master of the house, The Teacher says to you, Where is the guest room where I shall eat the passover with My disciples? 12 And he shall show you a large, furnished upper room. Prepare there. 13 And they went and found it as He had said to them. And they prepared the passover. 14 And when the hour came, He and the twelve apostles with Him reclined. 15 And He said to them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer. 16 For I say to you, I will not any more eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God. 17 And He took the cup and gave thanks and said, Take this and divide it among yourselves. 18 For I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God shall come. 19 And He took bread and gave thanks, and He broke it and gave it to them, saying, This is My body which is given for you, this do in remembrance of Me. 20 In the same way He took the cup, after having dined, saying, This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is being poured out for you. 21 But, behold, the hand of My betrayer is with Me on the table. 22 And truly the Son of Man goes, as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed! 23 And they began to inquire among themselves which of them it was that should do this thing. 24 And there was also a dispute among them as to which of them seems to be greater. 25 And He said to them, The kings of the nations exercise lordship over them. And they who exercise authority on them are called benefactors. 26 But you shall not be so: but the greater among you, let him be as the lesser, and he who governs, as one who serves. 27 For which is the greater; he who reclines, or he who serves? Is it not he who reclines? But I am among you as He who serves. 28 You are those who have continued with Me in My trials. 29 And I appoint a kingdom to you, as My Father has appointed to Me, 30 that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired you, that he may sift you as wheat. 32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not. And when you are converted, strengthen your brothers. 33 And he said to Him, Lord, I am ready to go with You, both into prison and into death. 34 And He said, I say to you, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day before you shall deny knowing Me three times. 35 And He said to them, When I sent you without purse and wallet and sandals, did you lack anything? And they said, Nothing. 36 And He said to them, But now, he who has a purse, let him take it, and likewise his wallet. And he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. 37 For I say to you that this which is written must yet be accomplished in Me, "And he was reckoned among the transgressors"; for the things concerning Me have an end. 38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And He said to them, It is enough. 39 And going out, according to His custom, He went to the Mount of Olives. And His disciples also followed Him. 40 And when He was at the place, He said to them, Pray that you do not enter into temptation. 41 And He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw. And He kneeled down and prayed, 42 saying, Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me. Yet not My will, but Yours be done. 43 And an angel appeared to Him from Heaven, strengthening Him. 44 And being in an agony He prayed more earnestly. And His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. 45 And when He rose up from prayer and had come to His disciples, He found them sleeping because of sorrow. 46 And He said to them, Why do you sleep? Rise and pray lest you enter into temptation. 47 And as He was yet speaking, behold a crowd! And he who was called Judas, one of the Twelve, went before them. And he drew near Jesus to kiss Him. 48 But Jesus said to him, Judas, do you betray the Son of Man with a kiss? 49 And those around Him seeing what was about to occur, they said to him, Lord, shall we strike with the sword? 50 And one of them struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear. 51 And Jesus answered and said, Let it go until now. And touching his ear, He healed him. 52 And Jesus said to the chief priests and commanders of the temple, and the elders, who had come to Him, Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and staves? 53 When I was with you in the temple daily, you did not stretch out your hand on Me. But this is your hour, and the authority of the darkness. 54 And laying hold on Him, they led Him away and brought Him into the high priest's house. And Peter followed afar off. 55 And lighting a fire in the middle of the court, and they sitting down, Peter sat in their midst. 56 But a certain slave-girl saw him as he sat by the fire and earnestly looked on him and said, This man was with him also. 57 And he denied Him, saying, Woman, I do not know Him. 58 And after a little while another saw him and said, You also are of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not! 59 And about an hour afterward, another confidently affirmed, saying, Truly this one was also with him, for he is a Galilean. 60 And Peter said, Man, I do not know what you say. And immediately, while he still spoke, the cock crowed. 61 And the Lord turned and looked on Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, Before the cock crows, you shall deny Me three times. 62 And Peter went out and wept bitterly. 63 And the men who held Jesus mocked Him, beating Him. 64 And blindfolding Him, they struck Him on His face. And they asked Him, saying, Prophesy! Who is it who struck you? 65 And they spoke many other things blasphemously against Him. 66 And when day came, the body of elders of the people, and the chief priests and the scribes, came together. And they led Him to the sanhedrin, saying, 67 Are you the Christ? Tell us. And He said to them, If I tell you, you will not believe. 68 Also if I ask you, you will not answer Me nor let Me go. 69 From now on the Son of Man shall sit at the right hand of the power of God. 70 And they all said, Are you then the Son of God? And He said to them, You say it, because I AM! 71 And they said, What need do we have for any witness? For we ourselves have heard it from his own mouth.

And he said, I will not let You go except You bless me. 27 And He said to him, What is your name? And he said, Jacob. 28 And He said, Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for like a prince you have power with God and with men, and have prevailed.

And the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. 7 And they shall take some of the blood and strike on the two side posts and upon the upper door post of the houses in which they shall eat it. 8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roasted with fire, and unleavened bread. They shall eat it with bitter herbs. 9 Do not eat of it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted with fire, its head with its legs, and with its inward parts. 10 And you shall not let any of it remain until the morning. And that which remains of it until the morning you shall burn with fire. 11 And you shall eat of it this way, with your loins girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. And you shall eat it in a hurry. It is Jehovah's passover. 12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast. And I will execute judgments against all the gods of Egypt. I am Jehovah. 13 And the blood shall be a sign to you upon the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you. And the plague shall not be upon you for a destruction when I smite in the land of Egypt. 14 And this day shall be a memorial to you. And you shall keep it as a feast to Jehovah throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by a law forever. 15 You shall eat unleavened bread seven days; even the first day you shall put away leaven out of your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel. 16 And on the first day shall be a holy gathering, and in the seventh day there shall be a holy gathering for you. No manner of work shall be done in them, except that which every man must eat, that only may be done by you. 17 And you shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. For in this same day I have brought your armies out of the land of Egypt. In all your dwelling-places you shall eat unleavened bread. 21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, Draw out and take a lamb for yourselves according to your families, and kill the passover. 22 And you shall take a bunch of hyssop and dip in the blood in the bowl, and strike the lintel and the doorposts with the blood in the bowl. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning. 23 For Jehovah will pass through to strike the Egyptians. For they said, Our god has delivered Samson our enemy into our hand. 24 And the people saw him and praised their god. For they said, Our god has delivered our enemy into our hand, and the destroyer of our country, who killed many of us. 25 And when their hearts were merry, it happened that they said, Call for Samson and he will make sport for us. And all the lords of the Philistines were there. And on the roof were about three thousand men and women who watched while Samson made sport. 28 And Samson called to Jehovah and said, O, Lord Jehovah, remember me, I pray You, and strengthen me, I pray You, only this once, O God, so that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes. 29 And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was held up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left. 30 And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself mightily, and the house fell upon the lords and upon all the people in it. So the dead whom he killed at his death were more than those he killed in his life.

Selah. 6 For this let every godly one pray to You, in a time when You may be found; surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come near him.

Psalms 69:1-36

1 To the Chief Musician. Concerning the Lilies. A Psalm of David. Save me, O God! for the waters have come in on my soul. 2 I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing; I have come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. 3 I am weary from my crying; my throat is dried; my eyes fail while I wait for my God. 4 They who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head; they who would destroy me are mighty, my lying enemies. Then I restored what I did not take away. 5 O God, You know my foolishness, and my guiltiness is not hidden from You. 6 Do not let those who wait on You, O Jehovah, the God of Hosts, be ashamed for my sake; let not the ones who seek You be ashamed for my sake, O God of Israel, 7 because I have borne reproach for Your sake, shame has covered my face.

Psalms 69:7-12

7 because I have borne reproach for Your sake, shame has covered my face. 8 I have become a stranger to My brothers, and a foreigner to My mother's children.

Psalms 69:12-12

12 They who sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards. 13 But as for me, my prayer is to You, O Jehovah, in a pleasing time; O God, in the multitude of Your mercy hear me, in the truth of Your salvation. 14 Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink; let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters.

Psalms 69:14-18

14 Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink; let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters. 15 Do not let the flood of waters overflow me, nor let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut its mouth on me.

Psalms 69:15-18

17 And hide not Your face from Your servant; for I am in trouble; hear me quickly. 18 Draw near my soul, and redeem it; deliver me because of my enemies.

Psalms 69:18-18

18 Draw near my soul, and redeem it; deliver me because of my enemies. 19 You have known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonor; my enemies are all before You. 20 Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness; and I looked for some to mourn with me, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none. 21 They also gave Me gall for my food; and in My thirst they gave Me vinegar to drink. 22 Let their table become a snare before them; and to those at ease a trap. 23 Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see; and make their loins shake without ceasing. 24 Pour out Your wrath on them, and let the glow of Your anger take hold of them. 25 Let their dwelling be wasted; let none dwell in their tents. 26 For they persecute him whom You have stricken, and they talk to the grief of those You pierced. 27 Add iniquity to their iniquity, and let them not come into Your righteousness. 28 Let them be blotted out of the Book of Life, and not be written with the righteous. 29 But I am poor and sorrowful; let Your salvation, O God, set me up on high. 30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving. 31 This also shall please Jehovah better than an ox, or a bull that has horns and hoofs. 32 The humble shall see and be glad; and your heart shall live, you who seek God. 33 For Jehovah hears the needy, and does not despise His prisoners. 34 Let the heavens and earth praise Him, the seas, and everything that moves in them. 35 For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah; so that they may dwell there, and possess it. 36 And the seed of His servants shall inherit it, and they who love His name shall dwell in it.

Psalms 78:4-6

4 We will not hide them from their sons, showing to the generations to come the praises of Jehovah, and His strength, and His wonderful works that He has done. 5 For He set up a testimony in Jacob, and ordered a Law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers, that they should teach them to their sons; 6 so that the generation to come might know; sons shall be born, and they shall arise and tell their sons,

Psalms 88:1-18

1 A Song. A Psalm for the sons of Korah. To the Chief Musician. On Mahalath, to make humble. A Poem of Heman the Ezrahite. O Jehovah, the God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before You. 2 Let my prayer come before You; bow down Your ear to my cry. 3 For my soul is full of troubles, and my life draws near the grave. 4 I am counted with those who go down to the Pit; I am like a feeble man; 5 free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom You remember no more; and by Your hand they are cut off. 6 You have laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps. 7 Your wrath lies hard on me, and You have afflicted me with all Your waves. Selah. 8 You have taken my friends away from me; You have made me a hateful thing to them. I am shut up, and I cannot go out. 9 My eye mourns because of affliction; O Jehovah, I have called daily on You; I have stretched out my hands to You. 10 For will You do wonders to the dead? Shall the dead rise and praise You? Selah. 11 Shall Your loving-kindness be declared in the grave? Or Your faithfulness in ruin? 12 Shall Your wonders be known in the dark, and Your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness? 13 But to You I have cried, O Jehovah; and in the morning my prayer shall go before You. 14 O Jehovah, why do You cast off my soul? Why do You hide Your face from me? 15 I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up; while I suffer Your terrors, I pine away. 16 Your fierce wrath goes over me; Your terrors have cut me off. 17 They surrounded me like waters all the day long; they have come together around me. 18 You have taken lover and friend far from me, and those who know me into darkness.

Psalms 91:11-12

11 For He shall give His angels charge over You, to keep You in all Your ways. 12 They shall bear You up in their hands, lest You dash your foot against a stone.

15 and wine cheers the heart of man, and oil makes his face shine, and bread sustains the heart of man.

Psalms 109:6-15

6 Set a wicked man over him; and let an adversary stand at his right hand, 7 when he is judged, let him be condemned; and let his prayer become sin. 8 Let his days be few; let another take his office. 9 Let his sons be fatherless, and his wife a widow. 10 Let his sons always beg and be vagabonds, and seek food out of their ruins. 11 Let the money-lender lay a snare for all that is his; and let strangers take the fruit of his labor. 12 Let there be none to give mercy to him; nor any to favor his fatherless children. 13 Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out. 14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered to Jehovah; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out. 15 Let them be always before Jehovah, that He may cut off their memory from the earth,

Psalms 143:1-4

1 A Psalm of David. Hear my prayer O Jehovah; give ear to my supplications; in Your faithfulness and in Your righteousness answer me. 2 And do not enter into judgment with Your servant, for in Your sight no one living is just. 3 For the enemy has pursued my soul; he has beaten my life down to the ground; he has made me dwell in darkness, as those long dead. 4 And my spirit has fainted within me; my heart has become weary within me.

Proverbs 6:4-11

4 Do not give sleep to your eyes or slumber to your eyelids. 5 Deliver yourself as a gazelle from the hunter's hand, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler. 6 Go to the ant, sluggard; consider her ways and be wise; 7 who, having no guide, overseer, or ruler, 8 provides her food in the summer and gathers her food in the harvest. 9 How long will you sleep, O sluggard? When will you arise out of your sleep? 10 A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to lie down; 11 so shall your poverty come as one who travels, and your need like an armed man.

Isaiah 53:1-12

1 Who has believed our report? And to whom is the arm of Jehovah revealed? 2 For He comes up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground; He has no form nor majesty that we should see Him, nor an appearance that we should desire Him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a Man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as it were a hiding of faces from Him, He being despised, and we esteemed Him not.

Isaiah 53:3

3 He is despised and rejected of men; a Man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as it were a hiding of faces from Him, He being despised, and we esteemed Him not. 4 Surely He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on Him; and with His stripes we ourselves are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, each one to his own way; and Jehovah has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and He was afflicted; yet He opened not His mouth. He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a sheep before its shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment; and who shall declare His generation? For He was cut off out of the land of the living; for the transgression of My people He was stricken. 9 And He put His grave with the wicked, and with a rich one in His death; although He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth. 10 Yet it pleased Jehovah to crush Him; to grieve Him; that He should put forth His soul as a guilt-offering. He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the will of Jehovah shall prosper in His hand.

Isaiah 53:10

10 Yet it pleased Jehovah to crush Him; to grieve Him; that He should put forth His soul as a guilt-offering. He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the will of Jehovah shall prosper in His hand. 11 He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul. He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify for many; and He shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore I will divide to Him with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong; because He has poured out His soul to death; and He was counted among the transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for transgressors.

Isaiah 53:12

15 For so says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity; whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, even with the contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. 16 For I will not contend forever, nor will I be always angry; for the spirit should fail before Me, and the souls I have made. 17 For the iniquity of his covetousness I was angry and struck him; I hid Myself, and was angry, and he went on turning away in the way of his heart. 18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him. I will also lead him, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.

18 I have surely heard Ephraim mourning to himself, saying, You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bull not broken in; turn me, and I shall be turned. For You are Jehovah my God. 19 Surely after I was turned, I repented; and after I was taught, I struck on my thigh. I was ashamed, yea, I even blushed, because I bore the disgrace of my youth. 20 Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a delightful child? For as often as I spoke against him, I earnestly remember him still. Therefore My heart is troubled for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says Jehovah.

The street shall be built again, and the wall, even in times of affliction. 26 And after sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself. 51 I am the Living Bread which came down from Heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread, he shall live forever. And truly the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. 52 Then the Jews argued with one another, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? 53 Then Jesus says to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His blood, you do not have life in yourselves. 54 Whoever partakes of My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. 56 He who partakes of My flesh and drinks My blood dwells in Me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father has sent Me, and I live through the Father, so he who partakes of Me, even he shall live by Me. 58 This is the Bread which came down from Heaven, not as your fathers ate the manna, and died; he who partakes of this Bread shall live forever.

John 6:67-68

67 Then Jesus said to the Twelve, Do you also wish to go away? 68 Then Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the Words of eternal life.

John 6:70-71

70 Jesus answered them, Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? And one of you is a devil? 71 But he spoke of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon; for it was he who was about to betray Him, being one of the Twelve.

John 7:25-26

25 Then some of those from Jerusalem said, Is this not the one they seek to kill? 26 But lo, he speaks publicly, and they say nothing to him. Perhaps the rulers truly know that this is the Christ indeed?

John 7:30

30 Then they sought to seize Him, but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

John 7:45

45 Then the officers came to the chief priests and Pharisees. And they said to them, Why have you not brought him?

John 8:31

31 Then Jesus said to the Jews who believed on Him, If you continue in My Word, you are My disciples indeed.

John 8:43-45

43 Why do you not know My speech? Because you cannot hear My Word. 44 You are of the Devil as father, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and did not abide in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it. 45 And because I tell you the truth, you do not believe Me.

John 9:27-28

27 He answered them, I have told you already, and you did not hear. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you also desire to be His disciples? 28 Then they reviled him and said, You are his disciple, but we are Moses' disciples.

John 10:24-26

24 Then the Jews encircled Him and said to Him, How long do you make us doubt? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly. 25 Jesus answered them, I told you and you did not believe. The works that I do in My Father's name, they bear witness of Me. 26 But you did not believe because you are not of My sheep. As I said to you,

John 10:30

30 I and the Father are one!

John 10:35

35 If He called those gods with whom the Word of God was, and the Scripture cannot be broken, 36 do you say of Him whom the Father has sanctified and sent into the world, You blaspheme, because I said, I am the Son of God?

John 11:28

28 And saying these things, she went away and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Teacher has come and calls you.

John 11:40

40 Jesus answered her, Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?

John 11:47-53

47 Then the chief priests and Pharisees gathered a sanhedrin, and said, What can we do? For this man does many miracles. 48 If we let him alone this way, all will believe on him. And the Romans will come and take away both our place and nation. 49 And one of them, Caiaphas, being the high priest of that year, said to them, You do not know anything at all, 50 nor do you consider that it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people, and not that the whole nation perish. 51 And he did not speak this of himself, but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for the nation; 52 and not for that nation only, but also that He should gather together in one the children of God who were scattered abroad. 53 Then from that day they took counsel together that they might kill Him.

John 11:55-57

55 And the Jews' Passover was near. And many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the Passover in order to purify themselves. 56 Then they sought Jesus, and spoke with one another as they stood in the temple, What does it seem to you, that He will not at all come to the feast? 57 And all the chief priests and the Pharisees had given commands, that if anyone knew where He was, he should make it known so that they might seize Him.

John 11:57

57 And all the chief priests and the Pharisees had given commands, that if anyone knew where He was, he should make it known so that they might seize Him.

John 12:6

6 He said this, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief and held the moneybag and carried the things put in.

John 12:27-28

27 And My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? Father, save Me from this hour? But for this cause I came to this hour.

John 12:27

27 And My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? Father, save Me from this hour? But for this cause I came to this hour. 28 Father, glorify Your name! Then there came a voice from the heaven saying, I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.

John 12:37-43

37 But though He had done so many miracles before them, yet they did not believe on Him, 38 so that the saying of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, "Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?" 39 Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again, 40 "He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, so that they should not see with their eyes nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them." 41 Isaiah said these things when he saw His glory and spoke of Him. 42 Still, however, even out of the rulers, many did believe on Him. But because of the Pharisees they did not confess, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; 43 for they loved the glory of men more than the glory of God.

John 13:1

1 And before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come when He should depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own in the world, He loved them to the end. 2 And when supper had ended, the Devil now having put into the heart of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon to betray Him,

John 13:5-16

5 After that He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded. 6 Then He came to Simon Peter. And Peter said to Him, Lord, do You wash my feet? 7 Jesus answered and said to him, You do not know what I do now, but you shall know hereafter. 8 Peter said to Him, You shall never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, Unless I wash you, you have no part with Me. 9 Simon Peter said to Him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and head. 10 Jesus said to him, He who is bathed has no need except to wash his feet, but is clean every whit. And you are clean, but not all. 11 For He knew who would betray Him. Therefore He said, You are not all clean. 12 So after He had washed their feet and had taken His garments and had reclined again, He said to them, Do you know what I have done to you? 13 You call Me the Teacher, and Lord, and you say well, for I AM. 14 If then I, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. 15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. 16 Truly, truly, I say to you, A servant is not greater than his master, neither is he who is sent greater than he who sent him.

John 13:18

18 I do not speak of you all; I know whom I have chosen; but that the Scripture might be fulfilled, "He who eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me."

John 13:18-19

18 I do not speak of you all; I know whom I have chosen; but that the Scripture might be fulfilled, "He who eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me." 19 From now I tell you before it comes, so that when it happens you may believe that I AM.

John 13:21-22

21 When Jesus had said this, He was troubled in spirit, and testified and said, Truly, truly, I say to you that one of you shall betray Me. 22 Then the disciples looked upon one another, wondering of whom He spoke.

John 13:22-25

22 Then the disciples looked upon one another, wondering of whom He spoke. 23 But there was one of His disciples leaning upon Jesus' bosom, the one whom Jesus loved. 24 Simon Peter therefore signaled to him to ask whom it might be of whom He spoke. 25 And lying on Jesus' breast, he said to him, Lord, who is it? 26 Jesus answered, It is he to whom I shall give the morsel when I have dipped it. And dipping the morsel, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

John 13:26

26 Jesus answered, It is he to whom I shall give the morsel when I have dipped it. And dipping the morsel, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. 27 And after the morsel, then Satan entered into him. Then Jesus said to him, What you do, do quickly.

John 13:36-37

36 Simon Peter said to Him, Lord, where do You go? Jesus answered him, Where I go you cannot now follow Me, but you shall follow Me afterward. 37 Peter said to Him, Lord, why cannot I follow You now? I will lay down my life for Your sake. 38 Jesus answered him, Will you lay down your life for My sake? Truly, truly, I say to you, The cock shall not crow until you have denied Me three times.

John 14:19

19 Yet a little while and the world does not see Me any more. But you see Me. Because I live, you shall live also.

John 14:30

30 I shall no longer speak many things with you, for the ruler of this world comes, and he has nothing in Me.

John 15:20

20 Remember the word that I said to you, The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they have kept My saying, they will also keep yours.

John 16:4

4 But I have told you these things so that when the hour shall come you may remember that I told you of them. And I did not say these things to you at the beginning because I was with you.

John 16:20-22

20 Truly, truly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. And you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. 21 The woman has grief when she bears, because her hour has come. But when she brings forth the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, because of the joy that a man is born into the world. 22 And therefore you now have sorrow. But I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.

John 16:33

33 I have spoken these things to you so that you might have peace in Me. In the world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.

John 17:1

1 Jesus spoke these words and lifted up His eyes to Heaven and said, Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son so that Your Son also may glorify You,

John 17:4

4 I have glorified You upon the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.

John 17:9-11

9 I pray for them. I do not pray for the world, but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. 10 And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I am glorified in them. 11 And now I am in the world no longer, but these are in the world, and I come to You, Holy Father. Keep them in Your name, those whom You have given Me, so that they may be one as We are. 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those that You have given Me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

John 17:15-21

15 I do not pray for You to take them out of the world, but for You to keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through Your truth. Your Word is truth. 18 As You have sent Me into the world, even so I have sent them into the world. 19 And I sanctify Myself for their sakes, so that they also might be sanctified in truth. 20 And I do not pray for these alone, but for those also who shall believe on Me through their word, 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe that You have sent Me.

John 18:1-2

1 Having spoken these words, Jesus went out with His disciples over the winter stream Kidron, where there was a garden. He and His disciples entered into it. 2 And Judas who betrayed Him also knew the place. For Jesus oftentimes went there with His disciples.

John 18:2-11

2 And Judas who betrayed Him also knew the place. For Jesus oftentimes went there with His disciples. 3 Then Judas, having received a band and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, came there with lanterns and torches and weapons. 4 Then Jesus, knowing all things that were coming upon Him, went out and said to them, Whom do you seek? 5 They answered Him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus said to them, I AM! And Judas who betrayed Him also stood with them. 6 Then as soon as He had said to them, I AM, they went backward and fell to the ground. 7 Then He asked them again, Whom do you seek? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth. 8 Jesus answered, I have told you that I AM. Therefore if you seek Me, let these go away;

John 18:8-9

8 Jesus answered, I have told you that I AM. Therefore if you seek Me, let these go away; 9 (that the word might be fulfilled which He spoke, "Of those whom You have given Me, I have lost not one of them").

John 18:9-9

9 (that the word might be fulfilled which He spoke, "Of those whom You have given Me, I have lost not one of them"). 10 Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest's servant and cut off his right ear. And the servant's name was Malchus. 11 Then Jesus said to Peter, Put up your sword into the sheath. The cup which My Father has given Me, shall I not drink it?

John 18:11-11

11 Then Jesus said to Peter, Put up your sword into the sheath. The cup which My Father has given Me, shall I not drink it? 12 Then the band, and the chiliarch, and under-officers of the Jews together seized Jesus and bound Him. 13 And they led Him away to Annas first, for he was father-in-law to Caiaphas, who was the high priest that year. 14 And Caiaphas was he who gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people. 15 And Simon Peter and another disciple followed Jesus. That disciple was known to the high priest, and he went in with Jesus into the court of the high priest. 16 But Peter stood at the door outside. Then the other disciple went out, the one who was known to the high priest, and spoke to her who kept the door and brought Peter in.

John 18:16-18

16 But Peter stood at the door outside. Then the other disciple went out, the one who was known to the high priest, and spoke to her who kept the door and brought Peter in. 17 Then the girl who kept the door said to Peter, Are you not also one of this man's disciples? He said, I am not.

17 Then the girl who kept the door said to Peter, Are you not also one of this man's disciples? He said, I am not.

John 18:17

17 Then the girl who kept the door said to Peter, Are you not also one of this man's disciples? He said, I am not. 18 And the servants and officers who had made a fire of coals stood there, for it was cold. And they warmed themselves. And Peter stood with them and warmed himself.

John 18:22

22 And when He had spoken this way, one of the officers who stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Do you answer the high priest so?

24 Then Annas had sent Him bound to Caiaphas the high priest. 25 And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. Then they said to him, Are you not also one of his disciples? He denied and said, I am not.

John 18:25

25 And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. Then they said to him, Are you not also one of his disciples? He denied and said, I am not. 26 One of the servants of the high priest, being kinsman to him whose ear Peter cut off, said, Did I not see you in the garden with him? 27 Peter then denied again. And immediately a cock crowed.

John 18:27-27

27 Peter then denied again. And immediately a cock crowed. 28 Then they led Jesus from Caiaphas into the praetorium. And it was early. And they did not go into the praetorium, that they should not be defiled, and that they might eat the Passover.

John 18:36

36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would fight so that I might not be delivered to the Jews. But now My kingdom is not from here. 37 Pilate then said to Him, Are you a king then? Jesus answered, You say it that I am a king. To this end I was born, and for this cause I came into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.

John 19:7

7 The Jews answered him, We have a Law, and by our Law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.

John 19:28-30

28 After this, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, Jesus said, I thirst. 29 Then a vessel full of vinegar was set. And they filled a sponge with sour wine and put it upon hyssop, and put it to His mouth. 30 Then when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, It is finished! And He bowed His head and gave up the spirit.

John 21:15-17

15 Then when they broke fast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these? He said to Him, Yes, Lord, You know that I love You. He said to him, Feed My lambs. 16 He said to him the second time, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me? He said to Him, Yes, Lord, You know that I love You. He said to him, Feed My sheep. 17 He said to him the third time, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me? Peter was grieved because He said to him a third time, Do you love Me? And he said to Him, Lord, You know all things, You know that I love You. Jesus said to him, Feed My sheep.

John 21:17-17

17 He said to him the third time, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me? Peter was grieved because He said to him a third time, Do you love Me? And he said to Him, Lord, You know all things, You know that I love You. Jesus said to him, Feed My sheep.

Acts 1:16-18

Acts 1:17-18

17 For he was numbered with us and had obtained part of this ministry. 18 Indeed, then, this one purchased a field with the reward of unrighteousness. And falling headlong, he burst apart in the middle, and all his bowels gushed out.

Acts 1:18-18

18 Indeed, then, this one purchased a field with the reward of unrighteousness. And falling headlong, he burst apart in the middle, and all his bowels gushed out. 19 And it was known to all the dwellers at Jerusalem, so much so that that field is called in their own dialect, Akeldama, that is to say, Field of Blood. 20 For it is written in the Book of Psalms, "Let his estate become forsaken, and he not be living in it." And, "Let another take his overseership." 21 Therefore, it is right that one of these men who have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus came in and went out among us, 22 beginning from the baptism of John to that same day that He was taken up from us, to become a witness with us of His resurrection. 23 And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias. 24 And they prayed and said, You, Lord, knower of all hearts, show which one You chose from these two, 25 to take the share of this ministry and apostleship from which Judas fell, to go to his own place.

Acts 4:27-28

And sitting in his chariot he read Isaiah the prophet. 29 Then the Spirit said to Philip, Go near and join yourself to this chariot.

34 Who is he condemning? It is Christ who has died, but rather also who is raised, who is also at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.

Romans 12:2

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what is that good and pleasing and perfect will of God.

Romans 12:10

10 in brotherly love to one another, loving fervently, having led one another in honor.

Romans 12:19

19 not avenging yourselves, beloved, but giving place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord."

Romans 12:21

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Romans 14:6

6 He who regards the day regards it to the Lord; and he not regarding the day, does not regard it to the Lord. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, does not eat to the Lord, and gives God thanks.

1 Corinthians 5:7-8

7 Therefore purge out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened. For also Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us.

1 Corinthians 5:7

7 Therefore purge out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened. For also Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. 8 Therefore let us keep the feast; not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

1 Corinthians 6:2-3

2 Do you not know that the saints shall judge the world? And if the world shall be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels, not to mention the things of this life?

1 Corinthians 9:25

25 And everyone who strives for the mastery is temperate in all things. Then those truly that they may receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.

1 Corinthians 10:4

4 and all drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank of the spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.

1 Corinthians 10:12

12 So let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.

1 Corinthians 10:16

16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

1 Corinthians 10:16-21

16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? 17 For we, the many, are one bread and one body; for we are all partakers of that one bread. 18 Behold Israel after the flesh. Are not those who eat of the sacrifices also partakers of the altar? 19 What then do I say? That the idol is anything, or that an idolatrous sacrifice is anything? 20 But I say that the things which the nations sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God. And I do not desire that you should have fellowship with demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot be partakers of the Lord's table and of a table of demons.

1 Corinthians 11:23-29

23 For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which he was betrayed took bread; 24 And giving thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body, which is broken for you; this do in remembrance of Me." 25 In the same way He took the cup also, after supping, saying, "This cup is the New Covenant in My blood; as often as you drink it, do this in remembrance of Me."

1 Corinthians 11:25

25 In the same way He took the cup also, after supping, saying, "This cup is the New Covenant in My blood; as often as you drink it, do this in remembrance of Me." 26 For "as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you show" the Lord's death until He shall come. 27 So that whoever shall eat this bread and drink this cup of the Lord unworthily, he will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread and drink of that cup. 29 For he who eats and drinks unworthily eats and drinks condemnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

1 Corinthians 13:4

4 Charity has patience, is kind; charity is not envious, is not vain, is not puffed up;

1 Corinthians 15:3-4

3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received, that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures;

33 Do not be deceived; evil companionships corrupt good habits.

2 Corinthians 1:4-6

4 He comforting us in all our trouble, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in every trouble, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds by Christ. 6 And if we are troubled, it is for your consolation and salvation, being worked out in the endurance of the same sufferings which we also suffer; if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. 7 And our hope of you is certain, knowing that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also of the consolation.

2 Corinthians 3:6

6 who also has made us able ministers of the new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit makes alive.

2 Corinthians 4:3-6

3 But also if our gospel is hidden, it is hidden to those being lost, 4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving ones, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ (who is the image of God) should not dawn on them. 5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For it is God who said, "Out of darkness Light shall shine;" who shone in our hearts to give the brightness of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:21

21 For He has made Him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

2 Corinthians 6:15-17

15 And what agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what part does a believer have with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are the temple of the living God, as God has said, "I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." 17 Therefore come out from among them and be separated, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing. And I will receive you

2 Corinthians 7:9-11

9 Now I rejoice, not that you were grieved, but that you grieved to repentance. For you were grieved according to God, so that you might suffer loss by nothing in us. 10 For the grief according to God works repentance to salvation, not to be regretted, but the grief of the world works out death. 11 For behold this same thing (you being grieved according to God); how much it worked out earnestness in you; but also defense; but also indignation; but also fear; but also desire; but also zeal; but also vengeance! In everything you approved yourselves to be clear in the matter.

2 Corinthians 8:9

9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, for your sakes He became poor, in order that you might be made rich through His poverty.

2 Corinthians 10:1

1 And I myself, Paul, beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ; I, who indeed to look upon am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you.

2 Corinthians 10:3-4

3 For though walking about in flesh, we do not war according to flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds,

2 Corinthians 10:4

4 For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds,

2 Corinthians 12:7-10

7 and by the surpassing revelations, lest I be made haughty, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be made haughty. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord three times, that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may overshadow me. 10 Therefore I am pleased in weaknesses, in insults, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am powerful.

20 which He worked in Christ in raising Him from the dead, and He seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies, 21 far above all principality and authority and power and dominion, and every name being named, not only in this world, but also in the coming age. 22 And He has put all things under His feet and gave Him to be Head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Ephesians 5:2

2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given Himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.

Ephesians 5:18-19

18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is excess, but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Ephesians 6:10-18

10 Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Ephesians 6:12

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Therefore take to yourselves the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Therefore stand, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness 15 and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. 16 Above all, take the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching to this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

Ephesians 6:18-19

18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching to this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. 19 And pray for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,

Philippians 2:3-5

3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves. 4 Do not let each man look upon his own things, but each man also on the things of others. 5 For let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

Philippians 2:7-8

1 Thessalonians 2:14-15

14 For you, brothers, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus. For you also have suffered these things by your own countrymen, even as they also by the Jews; 15 who both killed the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, also driving us out and they do not please God and being contrary to all men,

1 Thessalonians 3:4

4 For truly, when we were with you, we told you before that we were going to suffer affliction, as it also happened, even you know.

1 Timothy 1:14-14

14 And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. 15 Faithful is the Word and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. 16 But for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all long-suffering, as a pattern to those being about to believe on Him to life everlasting.

1 Timothy 3:16

16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among nations, believed on in the world, and received up into glory.

1 Timothy 4:4-5

4 For every creation of God is good, and nothing to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving. 5 For it is sanctified through the Word of God and prayer.

1 Timothy 6:9-10

9 But they who will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts which plunge men into destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is a root of all evils, of which some having lusted after, they were seduced from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

2 Timothy 2:10-12

10 Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 11 For faithful is the Word, for if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him. 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us.

2 Timothy 2:12-12

Hebrews 8:6-13

6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, by so much He is also the Mediator of a better covenant, which was built upon better promises. 7 For if that first covenant had been without fault, then no place would have been sought for the second. 8 For finding fault with them, He said to them, "Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and I will make an end on the house of Israel and on the house of Judah; a new covenant shall be, 9 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day I took hold of their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt," because they did not continue in My covenant, and I did not regard them, says the Lord. 10 "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My Laws into their mind and write them in their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 11 And they shall not each man teach his neighbor, and each man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest. 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more." 13 In that He says, A new covenant, He has made the first one old. Now that which decays and becomes old is ready to vanish away.

Hebrews 10:1-10

1 For the Law which has a shadow of good things to come, not the very image of the things, appearing year by year with the same sacrifices, which they offer continually, they are never able to perfect those drawing near. 2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? Because the worshipers, when they had been once for all purged, would have had no more conscience of sin. 3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again of sins every year. 4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. 5 Therefore when He comes into the world, He says, "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but You have prepared a body for Me. 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have had no pleasure. 7 Then I said, Lo, I come (in the volume of the Book it is written of Me) to do Your will, O God." 8 Above, when He said, "Sacrifice and offering, and burnt offerings and offering for sin You did not desire, neither did You have pleasure in them" (which are offered according to the Law), 9 then He said, "Lo, I come to do Your will, O God." He takes away the first so that He may establish the second. 10 By this will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

11 searching for what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ made clear within them, testifying beforehand of the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that should follow.

1 Peter 1:13

13 Therefore girding up the loins of your mind, being sober, perfectly hope for the grace being brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

1 Peter 2:21-23

21 For you were not called to this? For Christ also suffered on our behalf, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps, 22 He who did no sin, nor was guile found in His mouth, 23 who when He was reviled did not revile in return. When He suffered, He did not threaten, but gave Himself up to Him who judges righteously.

1 Peter 2:23

23 who when He was reviled did not revile in return. When He suffered, He did not threaten, but gave Himself up to Him who judges righteously. 24 He Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that dying to sins, we might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

1 Peter 3:22

1 Peter 5:9

9 whom firmly resist in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions in the world are being completed in your brotherhood.

1 Peter 5:9-9

9 whom firmly resist in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions in the world are being completed in your brotherhood. 10 But the God of all grace, He calling us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, He will perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

2 Peter 1:10-12

10 Therefore, brothers, rather be diligent to make your calling and election sure, for if you do these things, you shall never fall. 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 12 Therefore I will not neglect to put you always in remembrance of these things, though you know them and are established in the present truth.

3 John 1:9-10

9 I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, did not receive us. 10 Therefore if I come, I will remember his deeds which he does, ranting against us with evil words. And not content with these, neither does he himself receive the brothers. And he forbids those who would, and casts them out of the church. 11 Woe to them! For they went the way of Cain, and gave themselves up to the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah.
