⁶ since it is a righteous thing with God to repay tribulation to those who trouble you,

²² But if you shall indeed obey His voice, and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and a foe to your foes.

⁴¹ If I sharpen My glittering sword, and if My hand takes hold in judgment, I will give vengeance to My enemies and will reward those that hate Me. ⁴² I will make My arrows drunk with blood, and My sword shall devour flesh, with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the hairy scalp of the enemy. ⁴³ Rejoice, O, nations, with His people; for He will avenge the blood of His servants, and will render vengeance to His foes and will be merciful to His land, to His people.

²² Arise, O God, plead Your own cause; remember how the foolish man curses You daily. ²³ Forget not the voice of Your enemies; the noise of those who rise up against You keeps on increasing.

¹⁰ Why should the nations say, Where is their God? Let Him be known among the nations before our eyes by the revenging of the blood of Your servants which is shed. ¹¹ Let the groaning of the prisoner come before You; according to the greatness of Your power, leave a remnant of those who are to die, ¹² and give to our neighbors their curse sevenfold into their bosom, the curse with which they have cursed You, O Lord.

²⁰ Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with You, which frames mischief by a law? ²¹ They gather themselves against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood. ²² But Jehovah is my defense; and my God is the rock of my refuge. ²³ And He will bring on them their own iniquity, and He will cut them off in their evil. Jehovah our God shall cut them off.

²⁶ And I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh; and they shall be drunk with their own blood, as with sweet wine; and all flesh shall know that I Jehovah am your Savior and your Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

⁸ For so says Jehovah of Hosts: He has sent me after glory, to the nations who stripped you; for he who touches you touches the pupil of His eye.

²⁵ But he who does wrong shall receive justice for the wrong which he did, and there is no respect of persons.

¹⁰ And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Until when, Master, holy and true, do You not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?

¹⁸ And the nations were full of wrath, and Your wrath came, and the time of the judging of the dead, and to give the reward to Your servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to the ones fearing Your name, to the small and to the great, and to destroy those destroying the earth.

⁴ Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You only are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, for Your righteousnesses were made known.

⁵ And I heard the angel of the waters say, Righteous is the Lord, who is, and was, and who will be, because You have judged these things, ⁶ since they have poured out the blood of the saints and prophets; and You gave them blood to drink, for they were deserving.

²⁰ Rejoice over her, Heaven, and the holy apostles, and the prophets, since God judged your judgment on her.

²⁴ And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all those who were slain on the earth.

² For true and righteous are His judgments. For He has judged the great harlot who defiled the earth with her fornication, and He has avenged the blood of His servants out of her hand.
