⁹ But regarding brotherly love, you do not need that I write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

⁸ And anyone that eats it shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned the holy thing of Jehovah. And that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

¹ A Song of degrees; of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!

¹³ And you forget Jehovah your Maker, who has stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth. And you dread continually, every day, because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy. And where is the fury of the oppressor?

³⁴ And they shall no more teach each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah; for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says Jehovah. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sins no more.

³⁹ And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

⁴⁴ No one can come to Me unless the Father who has sent Me draw him, and I will raise him up at the last day. ⁴⁵ It is written in the Prophets, "And they shall all be taught of God." Therefore everyone who hears and learns from the Father comes to Me.

³⁴ I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. As I have loved you, you should also love one another. ³⁵ By this all shall know that you are My disciples, if you have love toward one another.

²⁶ But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I have said to you.

¹² This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. ¹³ No one has greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. ¹⁴ You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. ¹⁵ No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master does. But I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. ¹⁶ You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it to you. ¹⁷ These things I command you, that you love one another.

³² And the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul. And not one said that any of the things which he possessed was his own. But they had all things common.

¹⁰ in brotherly love to one another, loving fervently, having led one another in honor.

¹ Therefore be followers of God, as dear children. ² And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given Himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.

¹ But of the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that I write to you.

¹⁰ "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My Laws into their mind and write them in their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. ¹¹ And they shall not each man teach his neighbor, and each man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest.

¹⁶ "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord; I will put My Laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,"

¹ Let brotherly love continue.

⁸ And finally, all be of one mind, having compassion on one another, loving the brothers, tenderhearted, friendly.

⁸ And above all things have fervent love to yourselves, for love will cover a multitude of sins.

⁷ and with godliness, brotherly kindness, and with brotherly kindness, love.

¹⁰ He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no offense in him.

²⁰ But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. ²¹ I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and know that no lie is of the truth. ²² Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He who denies the Father and the Son is antichrist. ²³ Everyone who denies the Son neither has the Father. The one confessing the Son also has the Father. ²⁴ Therefore what you heard from the beginning, let it abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you will abide in both the Son and in the Father. ²⁵ And this is the promise that He has promised us: everlasting life. ²⁶ These things I have written to you concerning those leading you astray. ²⁷ But the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true and no lie, and as He has taught you, abide in Him.

¹¹ For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another;

¹⁴ We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brothers. He who does not love his brother abides in death. ¹⁵ Everyone hating his brother is a murderer. And you know that no murderer has everlasting life abiding in him. ¹⁶ By this we have known the love of God, because He laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. ¹⁷ But whoever has this world's goods and sees his brother having need, and shuts up his bowels from him, how does the love of God dwell in him? ¹⁸ My children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. ¹⁹ And in this we shall know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him,

²³ And this is His commandment, that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

⁷ Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves has been born of God, and knows God. ⁸ The one who does not love has not known God. For God is love. ⁹ In this the love of God was revealed in us, because God sent His only begotten Son into the world that we might live through Him. ¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation concerning our sins. ¹¹ Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. ¹² No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwells in us, and His love is perfected in us. ¹³ By this we know that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. ¹⁴ And we have seen and testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. ¹⁵ Whoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in him and he in God. ¹⁶ And we have known and believed the love that God has in us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

²¹ And we have this commandment from Him, that he who loves God should love his brother also.
