¹ MASTERS, do to your servants that which is just and fair; knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.

⁸ But you do not be called, Rabbi; for one is your Master, and all you are brethren. ⁹ And call no one on earth, father, for one is your Father in heaven.

⁴⁸ But if a bad servant should say in his heart, My lord will delay his coming, ⁴⁹ And he begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with drunkards, ⁵⁰ The Lord of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect, and at an hour that he does not know. ⁵¹ And he will severely scourge him, and give him a portion like that of the hypocrites; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

¹ AND he spoke a parable to his dis ciples, There was a rich man, who had a steward; and they accused him that he was wasting his wealth. ² So his master called him and said to him, What is this that I hear concerning you? Give me an account of your stewardship; for no longer can you be a steward for me. ³ Then the steward said to himself, What will I do? for my lord will take away from me the stewardship? I cannot dig, and I am ashamed to beg. ⁴ Now I know what I will do, so that when I leave the stewardship, they will receive me in their houses. ⁵ And he called his lordÆs debtors, one by one, and said to the first, How much do you owe my lord? ⁶ He said to him, A hundred pounds of butter. He said to him, Take your note, sit down quickly, and write fifty pounds. ⁷ And he said to another, And you, what do you owe to my lord? He said to him, One hundred bushels of wheat. He said to him, Take your note, and sit down and write eighty bushels. ⁸ And the lord praised the unjust steward because he had done wisely; for the children of this world are wiser in their generation than the children of light. ⁹ And I also say, use this earthly wealth, however acquired, to make friends so that when it is gone, they will receive you and you will have everlasting habitation. ¹⁰ He who is faithful with little, is also faithful with much; and he who is dishonest with little, is also dishonest with much. ¹¹ If therefore, you are not faithful with the wealth of iniquity, who will believe that there is any truth in you? ¹² And if you are not found faithful with that which is not your own, who will give you that which is your own? ¹³ No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and like the other; or he will honor one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon (wealth).

¹⁵ And when he received the kingdom and returned, he commanded to call his servants, to whom he had given the money, that he might know what each one of them had gained in business.

⁸ Knowing that whatever good thing any man does, the same shall he receive from our LORD, whether he be a slave or a freeman. ⁹ Also, masters, do the same things for your servants, forgiving their faults, because you also have your own Master in heaven; and there is no respect of persons with him. ¹⁰ From henceforth, my brethren, be strong in our LORD, and in the power of his might. ¹¹ Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. ¹² For your conflict is not only with flesh and blood, but also with the angels, and with powers, with the rulers of this world of darkness, and with the evil spirits under the heavens. ¹³ Wherefore put you on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to meet the evil one, and being prepared you shall prevail. ¹⁴ Arise, therefore, gird your loins with truth, and put on the breastplate of righteousness; ¹⁵ And have your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; ¹⁶ Together with these, take for yourselves the shield of faith, for with it you shall be able to quench all the flaming darts of the wicked. ¹⁷ And put on the helmet of salvation, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: ¹⁸ And pray always, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and in that prayer be watchful at all times, praying constantly and supplicating for all the saints, ¹⁹ And for me also, that words may be given to me as soon as I open my mouth, so that I may boldly preach the mystery of the gospel, ²⁰ For which I am a messenger in chains: that I may speak openly about it, as I ought to speak.

¹³ For a judgment without mercy will be on him, who does not show mercy; for you exalt yourselves by having mercy over judgment.

⁴ Behold, the wage of the labourers, who have reaped down your fields, that which you have fraudulently kept back, cries: and the cry of the reapers has already entered into the ears of the LORD of sabaoth.

¹⁴ They will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall conquer them: for he is LORD of lords, and King of kings; and those who are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

¹⁶ And he had a name written on his vesture and on his thigh, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
