¹ The song of songs which is Solomon's. ² Let Him kiss me with the kisses of His mouth; for Your loves are better than wine. ³ For Your ointments have a lovely fragrance; Your name is as ointment poured out; on account of this the virgins love You. ⁴ Draw me; we will run after You. The King has brought me into His chambers. We will be glad and rejoice in You; we will remember Your loves more than wine; the upright love You. ⁵ I am black, but comely, O daughters of Jerusalem, like the tents of Kedar, like the curtains of Solomon. ⁶ Do not look at me, that I am black, that the sun has looked on me. My mother's sons were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but my own vineyard I have not kept. ⁷ Tell me, You whom my soul loves, where do You feed; where do You lie down at noon? For why should I be as one who is veiled beside the flocks of Your companions? ⁸ If you yourself do not know, most beautiful among women, go in the footsteps of the flock. And feed your kids beside the tents of the shepherds. ⁹ O My love, I have compared you to My mares in Pharaoh's chariots. ¹⁰ Your cheeks are lovely with ornaments, your neck with chains of beads . ¹¹ We will make you ornaments of gold with studs of silver. ¹² While the King is in His circle, my spikenard gives its fragrance. ¹³ A bundle of myrrh is my Beloved to me. He shall lie between my breasts. ¹⁴ My Beloved is to me like a cluster of henna in the vineyards of Engedi. ¹⁵ Behold, you are beautiful, My love. Behold, you are beautiful; your eyes as doves'. ¹⁶ Behold, you are beautiful, my Beloved; yea, pleasant. Also our couch is green. ¹⁷ The beams of our house are cedars; our rafters are of firs.

³² And he spoke three thousand proverbs, and his songs were a thousand and five.

¹ To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. The fool has said in his heart, There is no God! They acted corruptly; they did hatefully in deeds; there is none doing good.

¹ Now I will sing to my Beloved a song of my Beloved concerning His vineyard: My Beloved has a vineyard in a fruitful horn.

²⁶ And his father Isaac said to him, Now come and kiss me, my son. ²⁷ And he came near and kissed him. And he smelled the smell of his clothes. And he blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which Jehovah has blessed.

¹¹ And Jacob kissed Rachel and lifted up his voice and wept.

¹⁵ And he kissed all his brothers, and wept on them. And afterwards his brothers spoke with him.

¹² Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Oh the blessings of all those who flee to Him for refuge!

⁷ How precious is Your mercy, O God! And the sons of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.

³ For Your loving-kindness is better than life; my lips give praise to You. ⁴ So I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. ⁵ My soul shall be satisfied, as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips,

⁴ Draw me; we will run after You. The King has brought me into His chambers. We will be glad and rejoice in You; we will remember Your loves more than wine; the upright love You.

⁴ He brought me to the house of wine, and His banner over me was love.

¹⁰ How beautiful are your loves, My sister, My spouse! How much better are your loves than wine, and the scent of your ointments than all spices!

¹⁶ His mouth is most sweet; and He is altogether lovely. This is my Beloved, and this is my Friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

⁶ How beautiful and how pleasant you are in delights, O love!

⁹ and the roof of your mouth like the best wine going down smoothly, for my Beloved, flowing softly over the lips of sleeping ones.

¹² Let us rise up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flowers and the blossom opens, and the pomegranates bud forth. There I will give my loves to You.

¹ Who can give You to me, as my brother, who sucked the breasts of my mother? When I find You outside, I would kiss You. They also would not despise me. ² I would lead You; I would bring You into my mother's house, that You might teach me; I would cause You to drink the spiced wine from the juice of my pomegranate.

⁶ And Jehovah of Hosts shall make a feast of fat things for all the peoples in this mountain; a feast of wine on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, refined wine on the lees.

¹ Ho, everyone who thirsts, come to the water; and he who has no silver, come buy grain and eat. Yes, come buy grain, wine and milk without silver and with no price. ² Why do you weigh out silver for that which is not bread, and your labor for what never satisfies? Listen carefully to Me and eat the good; and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

²⁶ And as they ate, taking the bread and blessing it, Jesus broke and gave to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is My body.

²⁰ And rising up, he came to his father. But he yet being far away, his father saw him and was moved with pity. And running, he fell on his neck and fervently kissed him.

⁷ And completing the voyage from Tyre, we arrived at Ptolemais. And having greeted the brothers, we remained one day with them.

¹⁴ Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace be to you, all those in Christ Jesus. Amen.

²³ And you take spices for yourself, the best, five hundred of pure myrrh, and its half of spicy cinnamon, two hundred and fifty shekels, and two hundred and fifty of aromatic calamus; ²⁴ and five hundred of cassia, by the shekel of the sanctuary; and a hin of olive oil. ²⁵ And you shall make it an oil of holy anointing, ointment compound, the work of a perfumer, an oil of holy anointing it shall be. ²⁶ And you shall anoint with it the tabernacle of the congregation and the ark of the testimony, ²⁷ and the table and all its vessels and the altar of incense, ²⁸ and the altar of burnt offering, and all its vessels, and the laver and its base.

¹² And Moses said to Jehovah, Behold, You are saying to me, Cause this people to go up. And You, You have not told me whom You will send with me. And yet You have said, I know you by name, and also you have found favor in My eyes.

¹⁹ And He said, I will cause all My goodness to pass before your face. And I will call out the name of Jehovah before your face. And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy.

⁵ And Jehovah came down in the cloud. And he placed himself there with Him, and he called on the name of Jehovah. ⁶ And Jehovah passed by before his face and called out: Jehovah! Jehovah God! Merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and great in goodness and truth, ⁷ keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and not leaving entirely unpunished, visiting the iniquity of fathers on sons, and on sons of sons, to the third and to the fourth generation.

⁷ You love righteousness and hate wickedness; on account of this God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your fellows. ⁸ All Your garments smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia out of ivory palaces, by which they make You glad.

¹⁴ She shall be led to the King in embroidered work; her companions, the virgins, shall be brought to You after her.

¹⁵ Blessed is the people knowing the joyful sound; O Jehovah, they shall walk in the light of Your face. ¹⁶ They shall rejoice in Your name always; and they are exalted in Your righteousness.

² It is like the precious oil on the head that ran down on the beard, Aaron's beard, going down to the mouth of his garments;

⁹ Ointment and perfume give joy to the heart, and one's friend is sweet from the counsel of the soul.

¹ A good name is better than good ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth.

⁶ Who is this who comes up out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke, burned with myrrh and frankincense, from all powders of the merchant?

⁵ I rose up to open to my Beloved, and my hands dripped with myrrh; yea, my fingers flowing with myrrh on the handles of the bolt.

¹³ His cheeks are like a bed of spices, a raised bed of aromatic herbs. His lips are like lilies dropping flowing myrrh.

⁸ Sixty of them are queens, and eighty concubines, and virgins without number.

⁶ For a Child is born; to us a Son is given; and the government is on His shoulder; and His name is called Wonderful, Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. ⁷ There is no end to the increase of His government and of peace on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it, and to sustain it with justice and with righteousness, from now and forever. The zeal of Jehovah of Hosts will do this.

³ to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of the spirit of infirmity, so that one calls them trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, in order to beautify Himself.

⁵ Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and act wisely, and shall do justice and righteousness in the earth. ⁶ In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely. And this is His name by which He shall be called, Jehovah our Righteousness.

²¹ And she will bear a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins. ²² And all this happened so that might be fulfilled that spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, ²³ "Behold! The virgin will conceive in her womb and will bear a son, and they will call His name Emmanuel" (which translated is, God with us). Isa. 7:14

¹ Then the kingdom of Heaven shall be compared to ten virgins who taking their lamps, went out to a meeting of the bridegroom.

³ Then taking a pound of ointment of pure, costly spikenard, Mary anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped off His feet with her hairs. And the house was filled with the odor of the ointment.

¹⁴ But thanks be to God, He always leading us in triumph in Christ, and the One revealing through us the odor of the knowledge of Him in every place. ¹⁵ For we are a sweet smell to God because of Christ in those being saved, and in those being lost; ¹⁶ to the one, an odor of death unto death, and to the other, an odor of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

² For I am jealous over you with a jealousy of God. For I have promised you to one Man, to present you a pure virgin to Christ.

⁹ Because of this also God highly exalted Him and gave Him a name above every name, ¹⁰ that at the name of Jesus "every knee should bow," of heavenly ones, and earthly ones, and ones under the earth,

¹⁸ But I have all things and more than enough; I have been filled, receiving from Epaphroditus the things from you, an odor of sweet smell, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.

⁴ These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones following the Lamb wherever He may go. These were redeemed from among men as a firstfruit to God and to the Lamb.

⁴ When I remember these things and I pour out my soul on me (for I passed over with the throng; I led them to the house of God with the voice of rejoicing and praise, a host keeping the feast).

¹⁴ She shall be led to the King in embroidered work; her companions, the virgins, shall be brought to You after her. ¹⁵ They shall be led with gladness and rejoicing; they shall go in to the King's palace.

⁹ We have thought on Your lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of Your temple.

⁵ My soul shall be satisfied, as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips,

⁴ Make a joyful noise to Jehovah, all the earth; break out and rejoice and sing praise. ⁵ Sing praise to Jehovah with the lyre; with the lyre and the voice of a song. ⁶ With trumpets and the sound of a horn, make a joyful noise before Jehovah the King. ⁷ Let the sea roar, and the fullness of it; the world, and those who live in it. ⁸ Let the rivers clap their hands; let the heights shout for joy together ⁹ before Jehovah; for He comes to judge the earth; with righteousness He shall judge the world, and the peoples in uprightness.

¹ Of David. Bless Jehovah, O my soul; and all within me, bless His holy name. ² Bless Jehovah, O my soul, and forget not all His rewards;

⁴ He has made a memorial for His wonders; Jehovah is gracious and full of pity.

³² I will run the way of Your commands, for You shall enlarge my heart.

⁶⁰ I hurried and delayed not to keep Your commands.

² Let Israel rejoice in His Makers; let the sons of Zion be joyful in their Kings.

³ As the apple among the trees of the forest, so is my Beloved among the sons. I delighted in His shadow, and I sat down; and His fruit was sweet to my taste. ⁴ He brought me to the house of wine, and His banner over me was love. ⁵ Feed me with raisin cakes, refresh me with apples, for I am sick with love.

⁴ When I had passed on from them, it was a little while until I found Him whom my soul loves. I seized Him, and I did not let Him go until I had brought Him into my mother's house, and into the room of her who conceived me.

⁸ He will swallow up death in victory! And the Lord Jehovah will wipe away tears from all faces. And He shall reprove the reproach of His people from all the earth; for Jehovah has spoken

²⁵ In Jehovah all of the seed of Israel shall be justified, and shall glory.

⁷ I will mention the mercies of Jehovah, the praises of Jehovah, according to all that Jehovah has benefited us, and the great good to the house of Israel, by which He benefited them according to His mercies, and according to the multitude of His loving-kindness.

³ Jehovah has appeared to me from far away, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love! On account of this, with loving kindness I have drawn you.

⁴ I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love. And I was to them as those who lift off the yoke on their jaws; and I gently give food to him.

¹⁴ Shout for joy, daughter of Zion; shout, Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all the heart, daughter of Jerusalem!

⁹ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you! He is righteous and victorious, lowly, and riding on an ass, even on a colt, the son of an ass.

¹⁰ But they going away to buy, the bridegroom came. And those ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was shut.

¹⁰ And the angel said to them, Do not fear. For, behold, I announce good news to you, a great joy, which will be to all people,

¹⁹ And taking a loaf, giving thanks, He broke, and gave to them, saying, This is My body being given for you. Do this for My remembrance.

⁴⁴ No one is able to come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day.

³² And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all to Myself.

² In My Father's house are many dwelling places. But if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you! ³ And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will receive you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.

¹⁵ Then when they broke fast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these? He said to Him, Yes, Lord, You know that I love You. He said to him, Feed My lambs! ¹⁶ Again He says to him, secondly, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me? He says to Him, Yes, Lord, You know that I love You. He said to him, Shepherd My sheep! ¹⁷ Thirdly, He said to him, Simon son of Jonah, do you love Me? Peter was grieved that He said to him a third time, Do you love Me? And he said to him, Lord, You perceive all things, You know that I love You! Jesus said to him, Feed My sheep!

²³ For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread; ²⁴ and giving thanks, He broke and said, Take, eat; this is My body which is broken on behalf of you; this do in remembrance of Me. ²⁵ In the same way the cup also, after supping, saying, This cup is the New Covenant in My blood; as often as you drink, do this in remembrance of Me. See Luke 22:19, 20 ²⁶ For as often as you may eat this bread, and drink this cup, you solemnly proclaim the death of the Lord, until He shall come.

⁶ and raised us up together and seated us together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus,

²⁴ Grace be with all those that love our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruptibility. Amen.

¹² So, then, my beloved, even as you always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much rather in my absence, cultivate your salvation with fear and trembling, ¹³ for it is God who is working in you both to will and to work for the sake of His good pleasure.

³ For we are the circumcision, the ones who worship by the Spirit of God, and who glory in Christ Jesus, and who do not trust in flesh.

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, Rejoice!

¹ So therefore we also, having so great cloud of witnesses lying around us, having laid aside every weight and the easily surrounding sin, through patience let us also run the race set before us,

⁸ whom having not seen, you love; in whom not yet seeing, but believing, you exult with unspeakable and having been glorified,

⁹ King's daughters are among Your precious ones; the queen stands at Your right hand in gold of Ophir.

¹⁷ And let the delight of the Lord our God be upon us; and establish the works of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands, establish it!

⁵ Woe is me that I sojourned in Meshech; I dwell with the tents of Kedar!

⁴ For Jehovah takes pleasure in His people; He beautifies the meek with salvation.

⁷ I adjure you by the gazelles, and by the does of the field, O daughters of Jerusalem, that you do not stir up and do not awaken the Beloved until it pleases.

¹⁴ My dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the secrecy of the steep place, let Me see your form. Let Me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your form is beautiful.

⁵ I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, by the gazelles or by the does of the field, that you do not stir up, even that you not stir up the Beloved until it pleases.

¹⁰ He made its poles of silver; its back of gold; its seat of purple; its middle was paved with love by the daughters of Jerusalem.

³ Your lips are like a cord of scarlet, and your speech is becoming; your temples are like a piece of pomegranate behind your veil.

⁸ I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if you find my Beloved, what do you tell Him? That I am sick with love.

⁴ O My love, you are as beautiful as Tirzah, as lovely as Jerusalem, awesome as bannered armies.

⁴ I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem; why should you stir up or why should you awaken my love until it pleases?

² For He comes up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form nor magnificence that we should see Him; nor form that we should desire Him.

⁷ All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered to you; rams of Nebaioth shall serve you; they shall come up for acceptance on My altar; and I will glorify the house of My glory.

¹⁰ I will greatly rejoice in Jehovah. My soul shall be joyful in my God. For He clothed me with garments of salvation; He put on me the robe of righteousness, even as a bridegroom puts on his ornament, and as the bride is adorned with her jewels.

¹⁴ And your name went out among the nations, because of your beauty, for it was perfect by My splendor which I had set on you, declares the Lord Jehovah.

²⁵ It is enough for the disciple to become as his teacher, and the slave as his lord. If they called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more those of his household?

¹¹ And the king coming in to look over those reclining, he saw a man there not having been dressed in a wedding garment.

³⁴ Jerusalem! Jerusalem! The one killing the prophets, and stoning those having been sent to her, how often I desired to gather your children in the way a hen gathers her brood under the wings, and you did not desire it .

²² But the father said to his slaves, Bring out the best robe and clothe him, and give a ring for his hand and sandals for his feet.

¹⁴ But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not take thought beforehand for the lusts of the flesh.

¹⁰ We are fools for the sake of Christ, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are honored, but we not honored. ¹¹ Until the present hour we also hunger and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and wander homeless, ¹² and labor, working with our own hands. Being cursed, we bless; persecuted, we bear; ¹³ defamed, we entreat. we have become as filth of the world, dirt wiped off by all until now.

²¹ For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

²⁶ but the Jerusalem from above is free, who is the mother of us all;

²⁶ that He might sanctify it, cleansing it by the washing of the water in the Word,

¹ See what manner of love the Father has given us, that we may be called children of God. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

¹⁹ And they went, both of them, until they came into Bethlehem. And it happened as they came into Bethlehem, all the city was moved at them. And they said, Is this Naomi? ²⁰ And she said to them, Do not call me Naomi. Call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt bitterly with me. ²¹ I went out full, and Jehovah has brought me back empty. Why do you call me Naomi, since Jehovah has set His eye against me, and the Almighty has done evil to me?

³⁰ My skin is blackened on me, and my bones are burned with heat.

⁸ I have become a stranger to my brothers and a foreigner to my mother's children.

¹¹ Solomon had a vineyard in Baal-hamon. He let the vineyard out to keepers; for its fruit everyone was to bring a thousand of silver. ¹² My vineyard which is mine is before me; the thousand is for you, O Solomon, and two hundred for the keepers of its fruit.

²¹ For the breaking of the daughter of my people, I am broken. I mourn; horror has taken hold on me.

⁶ For even your brothers and the house of your father, even they have dealt treacherously with you; even they have fully called after you. Do not believe them, though they speak good things to you.

⁸ Their appearance is darker than soot; they are not recognized in the streets. Their skin has shriveled on their bones; it is dried up, it has become like wood.

⁶ for a son despises his father; a daughter rises up against her mother; the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man's enemies are the men of his house.

²² And you will be hated by all on account of My name, but the one enduring to the end shall be kept safe.

³⁵ I came to dissever a man from his father, and a daughter from her mother, and a bride from her mother-in-law. ³⁶ "And a man's enemies shall be those of his own house." Mic. 7:6

⁶ And the sun rising, it was scorched. And through not having root, it was dried out.

⁵¹ Do you think that I came to give peace in the earth? No, I say to you, but rather division. ⁵² For from now on five in one house will have been divided, three against two, and two against three. ⁵³ Father will be divided against son, and son against father; mother against daughter, and daughter against mother; mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law, "and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law." Mic. 7:6

²² confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting to continue in the faith, and that through many afflictions we must enter into the kingdom of God.

²⁹ But then, even as he born according to flesh persecuted the one according to Spirit, so also now.

¹⁶ And he said, I am looking for my brothers. Please tell me where they are feeding.

²⁰ And Samuel said to the people, Do not fear. You have done all this evil, only do not turn aside from following Jehovah, and serve Jehovah with all your heart. ²¹ And do not turn aside to go after worthless things which do not profit and do not deliver, for they are worthless.

¹ To the chief musician, A Psalm of David, the servant of Jehovah, who spoke the words of this song to Jehovah in the day that Jehovah delivered him from the hand of all his foes, and from the hand of Saul. And he said: I love You, O Jehovah, my strength.

¹ A Psalm of David. Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not want. ² He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters;

¹ A Psalm of David. I will call to You, O Jehovah; my Rock, be not deaf to me, lest, if you be silent from me I may be compared with those going down into the Pit.

¹ To the chief musician. A Testimony. Concerning the Lilies. A Psalm of Asaph. Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, You leading Joseph like a flock; shine forth, You dwelling between the cherubs.

¹ I love Jehovah because He hears my voice, my prayers.

¹⁶ My Beloved is mine, and I am His. He feeds among the lilies.

¹ By night on my bed I sought Him whom my soul loves. I sought Him, but I did not find Him. ² I will rise now and go about in the city, in the streets and in the broad places. I will seek Him whom my soul loves. I sought Him, but I did not find Him. ³ The watchmen going about in the city found me. I said, Have you seen Him my soul loves? ⁴ When I had passed on from them, it was a little while until I found Him whom my soul loves. I seized Him, and I did not let Him go until I had brought Him into my mother's house, and into the room of her who conceived me.

¹⁰ My Beloved is bright and ruddy, standing out among ten thousand.

³ I am my Beloved's, and my Beloved is mine. He feeds among the lilies.

¹³ You who dwell in the gardens, the companions are listening to your voice; cause me to hear it .

²⁰ It shall never be inhabited forever, nor shall it be lived in from generation to generation. And the Arabian shall not pitch a tent there, nor shall the shepherds make flocks lie down there.

⁹ With my soul I desire You in the night; yea, with my spirit within me I diligently seek You. For when Your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

¹¹ He shall feed His flock like a shepherd; He shall gather lambs with His arm; and carry them in His bosom; those with young He will lead;

¹² So says Jehovah of Hosts, Again in this place which is a waste without man or even beast, and in all its cities shall be a home of shepherds causing flocks to lie down.

⁴ And He shall stand and feed in the strength of Jehovah, in the majesty of the name of Jehovah His God. And they shall sit, for now He is great to the ends of the earth.

³⁷ He that loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he that loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.

⁶⁷ Therefore, Jesus said to the Twelve, Do you also wish to go? ⁶⁸ Then Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of everlasting life. ⁶⁹ And we have believed and have known that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

¹¹ I am the Good Shepherd! The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

²⁸ And I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish to the age, and not anyone shall pluck them out of My hand. ²⁹ My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all, and no one is able to pluck out of My Father's hand.

¹⁷ Thirdly, He said to him, Simon son of Jonah, do you love Me? Peter was grieved that He said to him a third time, Do you love Me? And he said to him, Lord, You perceive all things, You know that I love You! Jesus said to him, Feed My sheep!

¹⁴ And above all these, add love, which is the bond of perfectness. ¹⁵ And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you also were called in one body, and be thankful. ¹⁶ Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom teaching and exhorting yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. ¹⁷ And everything, whatever you do in word or in work, do all things in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father through Him. ¹⁸ Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as is becoming in the Lord.

⁷ Then to you who believe belongs the preciousness. But to disobeying ones, He is the "Stone which those building rejected; this One became the Head-of-the-corner," Psa. 118:22

¹⁹ They went out from us, but they were not of us. For if they were of us, they would have remained with us; but they left so that it might be revealed that they all are not of us.

¹⁷ Because the Lamb in the midst of the throne will shepherd them, and will lead them on the living fountains of waters; and God will wipe off every tear from their eyes.

³ As for the saints in the earth, they are the excellent ones; all my delight is in them.

¹¹ And the King will desire your beauty, for He is your Lord, and you shall worship Him.

¹³ The king's daughter is all glorious within, her clothing braided gold.

³⁴ Blessed is the man listening to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

¹⁵ Behold, you are beautiful, My love. Behold, you are beautiful; your eyes as doves'.

¹⁰ My Beloved answered and said to me, Arouse yourself, My love, My beautiful one, and come away.

¹ Behold, you are beautiful, My love. Behold, you are beautiful; your eyes are as doves' from behind your veil. Your hair is like a flock of goats which lie down from Mount Gilead.

⁷ You are all beautiful, My love. There is no blemish on you.

⁹ What is your Beloved more than another Beloved, most beautiful among women? What is your Beloved more than another Beloved, that you adjure us so?

¹ Where has your Beloved gone, most beautiful among women? Where has your Beloved turned? For we seek Him along with you.

⁴ O My love, you are as beautiful as Tirzah, as lovely as Jerusalem, awesome as bannered armies. ⁵ Turn away your eyes from Me, because they have overcome Me. Your hair is like a flock of goats that lie down from Gilead. ⁶ Your teeth are like a flock of ewes which come up from the washing place, of which they all are bearing twins, and barrenness is not among them. ⁷ Your temples behind your veil are like a piece of pomegranate. ⁸ Sixty of them are queens, and eighty concubines, and virgins without number. ⁹ But My dove, My perfect one is one alone . She is the only one to her mother; she is the choice of the one who bore her. The daughters saw her and called her blessed; the queens and the concubines saw her, and they praised her. ¹⁰ Who is she who looks down like the dawn, beautiful as the moon, clear as the sun, awesome as bannered armies ?

¹ How beautiful are your feet in sandals, O prince's daughter! The curves of your thighs are like jewels, the work of the hands of a skillful worker. ² Your navel is like a round goblet; it never lacks mixed wine. Your belly is like a heap of wheat set about with lilies. ³ Your two breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle. ⁴ Your neck is like an ivory tower; your eyes like the fishpools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bathrabbim. Your nose is like a tower of Lebanon, peering toward the face of Damascus. ⁵ Your head is like Carmel, and the hair of your head like purple cloth; the King is held captive in its tresses. ⁶ How beautiful and how pleasant you are in delights, O love! ⁷ Your stature compares to a palm tree, and your breasts to clusters of grapes. ⁸ I said, I will go up in the palm tree; I will take hold of its stalk. And please let your breasts be like clusters of the vine, and the scent of your nose like apples, ⁹ and the roof of your mouth like the best wine going down smoothly, for my Beloved, flowing softly over the lips of sleeping ones. ¹⁰ I am my Beloved's, and His desire is toward me. ¹¹ Come, my Beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us stay in the villages. ¹² Let us rise up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flowers and the blossom opens, and the pomegranates bud forth. There I will give my loves to You. ¹³ The love apples give a scent, and over our doors are all excellent fruits; new, also old, I have laid up for You, my Beloved.

¹⁶ So says Jehovah, Stand by the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; and you shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk in it .

¹⁵ Then when they broke fast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these? He said to Him, Yes, Lord, You know that I love You. He said to him, Feed My lambs!

¹ Be imitators of me, as I also of Christ.

²⁷ that He might present it to Himself as the glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such things, but that it be holy and without blemish.

¹² that you not become dull, but imitators of those who through faith and longsuffering are inheriting the promises.

⁴ By faith Abel offered a greater sacrifice to God than Cain, by which he obtained witness to be righteous, God testifying over his gifts; and through it, having died, he yet speaks. ⁵ By faith "Enoch" was translated so as not to see death, and "was not found, because God translated him." For before his translation, he had obtained witness to have been pleasing to God. Gen. 5:24 ⁶ But without faith it is impossible to please God . For it is right that the one drawing near to God should believe that He is, and that He becomes a rewarder to the ones seeking Him out. ⁷ Being warned by God about the things not yet having been seen, moved with fear, by faith Noah prepared an ark for the salvation of his house; through which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness according to faith. ⁸ Having been called out by faith, Abraham obeyed to go forth to a place which he was going to receive for an inheritance; and he went out not understanding where he went. ⁹ By faith he resided as a foreigner in a land of promise, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the joint-heirs of the same promise; ¹⁰ for he looked forward to a city having the foundations of which the builder and maker is God. ¹¹ Also by faith Sarah herself received power for conceiving seed even beyond the time of age, and gave birth; since she deemed the One having promised to be faithful. ¹² Because of this came into being from one (and that from one having died), seed even "as the stars of the heaven" in multitude and countless "as sand by the seaside." Gen. 22:17 ¹³ These all died by way of faith, not having received the promises, but seeing them from afar, and being persuaded, and having embraced and confessed that they are aliens and tenants. ¹⁴ For those saying such things make clear that they seek a fatherland. ¹⁵ And truly if they remembered that from which they came out, they had time to return. ¹⁶ But now they stretch forth to a better, that is, a heavenly land . Therefore, God is not ashamed of them, for Him to be called their God; for He prepared a city for them. ¹⁷ By faith, being tested, Abraham offered up Isaac; and he receiving the promises was offering up the only begotten, ¹⁸ as to whom it was said, "In Isaac your Seed shall be called;" Gen. 21:12 ¹⁹ reckoning that God was able to raise even from the dead; from where indeed he obtained him in a parable. ²⁰ By faith concerning things to come Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau. ²¹ By faith dying Jacob blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and "worshiped on the top of his staff." LXX-47:31 ²² Dying Joseph by faith made mention of the Exodus of the sons of Israel, and he gave orders concerning his bones. ²³ Being born, Moses was by faith hidden by his parents three months, because they saw the child was fair; and they did not fear the king's decree. ²⁴ Having become great, Moses by faith refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, ²⁵ having chosen rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than for a time to have enjoyment of sin; ²⁶ having counted the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking to the reward. ²⁷ By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the anger of the king; for he kept on as seeing the Invisible One . ²⁸ By faith he made the Passover, and the sprinkling of blood, that the destroyer of the first-born might not touch them. ²⁹ By faith they passed through the Red Sea, as through dry land; by which attempt the Egyptians taking, they were swallowed up. ³⁰ By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, having been circled during seven days. ³¹ By faith Rahab the harlot did not perish with those disobeying, having received the spies with peace. ³² And what more may I say? For the times will fail me telling about Gideon, Barak, and also Samson and Jephthah, and also David and Samuel, and the prophets, ³³ who through faith overcame kingdoms, worked out righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, ³⁴ quenched the power of fire, escaped the mouths of the sword, acquired power from weakness, became strong in war, made armies of foreigners to yield. ³⁵ Women received their dead by resurrection; but others were beaten to death, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. ³⁶ And others received trial of mockings and of floggings; yea, more, of bonds and of prison: ³⁷ they were stoned; they were tried; they were sawn in two; they died by murder of sword; they went about in sheepskins and in goatskins, being in need, being afflicted, being ill-treated; ³⁸ of whom the world was not worthy, wandering in deserts, and mountains, and caves, and the holes of the earth. ³⁹ And having obtained witness through the faith, these all did not obtain the promise, ⁴⁰ God having foreseen something better concerning us, that they should not be perfected apart from us.

⁷ Remember your leaders who spoke the Word of God to you, considering the issue of their conduct, imitate their faith:

²¹ Was not our father Abraham justified by works offering up his son Isaac on the altar? Gen. 22:9

²⁵ But in the same way Rahab the harlot was also justified out of works, having received the messengers, and sending them out by another way.

¹⁰ My brothers, as an example of suffering ill, and of longsuffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.

⁶ as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord; whose children you became, doing good, and fearing no terror. Gen. 18:12

⁷ Let us rejoice and let us exult, and we will give glory to Him, because the marriage of the Lamb came, and His wife prepared herself. ⁸ And it was given to her that she be clothed in fine linen, pure and bright; for the fine linen is the righteousnesses of the saints.

²⁸ And the horses that king Solomon had were brought from Egypt, and from Kue; the king's merchants received them from Kue at a price;

¹⁴ And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen; and he had a thousand, four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; and he placed them in the chariot cities, and with the king in Jerusalem. ¹⁵ And the king made the silver and the gold in Jerusalem as stones, and he made the cedars as sycamores that are in the low country for abundance. ¹⁶ And the horses which Solomon had were brought out of Egypt and out of Kue, the king's merchants took them from Kue at a price; ¹⁷ and they came up and brought out from Egypt a chariot for six hundred silver pieces, and a horse for a hundred and fifty; and so for all the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of Syria, they brought them out by their hand.

² As a lily among thorns, so is My love among the daughters.

¹³ The fig tree spices her unripe figs, and the vines give a fragrance by the blossom. Arise, My love; come, My beautiful one, and come yourself.

² I sleep, but my heart is awake. It is the sound of my Beloved that knocks, saying, Open to Me, My sister, My love, My dove, My undefiled. For My head is filled with dew, My locks with the drops of the night.

¹ Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and lean on horses, and trust on chariotry, because it is great; and in horsemen because they are very strong! But they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek Jehovah.

¹⁴ You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. ¹⁵ I no longer call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his lord does. But I called you friends, because all things which I heard from My Father I made known to you.

²² And it happened when the camels had finished drinking, the man took a golden ring, its weighing a half shekel, and two bracelets for her hands, ten of gold their weighing.

⁴⁷ And I asked her and I said, Whose daughter are you? And she said, The daughter of Bethuel the son of Nahor, whom Milcah bore to him. And I put the ring on her nose, and the bracelets on her hands.

⁴² And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand and put it on the hand of Joseph; and he clothed him with fine linen robes, and put a golden chain on his neck.

⁵⁰ And we bring near Jehovah's offering, each what he has found, vessels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and jewels, to atone for ourselves before Jehovah.

⁹ for they shall be an ornament of grace to your head, and chains for your neck.

⁹ You have ravished My heart, My sister, My spouse; you have ravished My heart with one of your eyes, with one chain of your neck.

¹⁸ In that day the Lord will take away the beauty of the ankle bracelets, and the headbands, and the crescents, ¹⁹ the pendants, and the bracelets, and the veils; ²⁰ the headdresses, and the leg ornaments, and the sashes, and the houses of the soul, and the amulets; ²¹ the rings and nose jewels;

¹¹ And I adorned you with ornaments, and I put bracelets on your hands and a chain on your neck. ¹² And I put a ring on your nose and earrings on your ears and a crown of beauty on your head. ¹³ And you were adorned with gold and silver. And your clothing was fine linen and silk and embroidered work. Fine flour and honey and oil you ate. And you were very, very beautiful. And you advanced to regal estate.

⁴ but the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of the meek and quiet spirit, which is of great value before God.

³ As His divine power has given to us all things pertaining to life and godliness through the full knowledge of the One calling us through glory and virtue, ⁴ by which means He has given to us the very great and precious promises, so that through these you might be partakers of the divine nature, escaping from the corruption in the world by lust.

²⁶ And God said, let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creepers creeping on the earth.

⁹ If she is a wall, we will build a turret of silver on her. And if she is a door, we will enclose her with boards of cedar.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up on its behalf, ²⁶ that He might sanctify it, cleansing it by the washing of the water in the Word, ²⁷ that He might present it to Himself as the glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such things, but that it be holy and without blemish.

²¹ who will transform our body of humiliation, for it to be conformed to His body of glory, according to the working of His power, even to put all things under Himself.

¹ To the Chief Musician, Concerning the Lilies. For the sons of Korah. A Poem; a Song of the Beloved. My heart is overflowing with a good matter. I am speaking of my works to the King; my tongue is the pen of a rapid writer.

¹³ Your plants are an orchard of pomegranates with excellent fruits, with henna and spikenard; ¹⁴ spikenard and saffron, calamus and cinnamon; with all trees of frankincense, myrrh and aloes; with all the chief balsam spices; ¹⁵ a fountain of gardens, a well of living waters; even flowings from Lebanon. ¹⁶ Awake, north wind; yea, come, south wind; blow on my garden; let its spices flow out. Let my Beloved come into His garden and eat its excellent fruits.

⁵ Your head is like Carmel, and the hair of your head like purple cloth; the King is held captive in its tresses.

⁴ Again, he sent other slaves, saying, Tell the ones invited, Behold, I have prepared my supper; my oxen, and the fatlings are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.

³⁴ Then the King will say to those on His right, Come, the blessed of My Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

²⁶ And as they ate, taking the bread and blessing it, Jesus broke and gave to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is My body. ²⁷ And taking the cup, and giving thanks, He gave to them, saying, Drink all of it. ²⁸ For this is My blood of the New Covenant which concerning many is being poured out for remission of sins.

³ And He being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as He reclined, a woman came, having an alabaster vial of pure, costly ointment of nard. And breaking the alabaster vial, she poured it down His head.

³⁰ And it happened as He reclined with them, taking the loaf, He blessed, and breaking He gave to them. ³¹ And their eyes were opened, and they knew Him. And He became invisible from them. ³² And they said to one another, Was not our heart burning in us as He spoke to us in the highway, and as He opened up to us the Scriptures?

²⁰ Behold, I stand at the door and knock: If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will enter to him, and I will dine with him, and he with Me.

³ And another angel came and stood on the altar, having a golden censer. And many incenses were given to him, that he give them with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne. ⁴ And the smoke of the incenses went up with the prayers of the saints out of the hand of the angel before God.

¹¹ And their father Israel said to them, If it be so, then do this: take from the produce of the land in your vessels and bring down a present to the man, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts and almonds.

⁸ All Your garments smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia out of ivory palaces, by which they make You glad.

⁶ Until when the day blows, and the shadows flee away, I myself will go to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hills of frankincense.

¹⁴ spikenard and saffron, calamus and cinnamon; with all trees of frankincense, myrrh and aloes; with all the chief balsam spices;

¹ I have come into My garden, My sister, My spouse; I have gathered My myrrh with My spice. I have eaten My honeycomb with My honey; I have drunk My wine with My milk. Eat and drink, O friends; yea, drink fully, beloved ones.

³ His left hand would be under my head, and His right hand embracing me. ⁴ I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem; why should you stir up or why should you awaken my love until it pleases?

³⁹ And Nicodemus also came, the one coming at first to Jesus by night, bearing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred Roman pounds.

¹⁷ that through faith Christ may dwell in your hearts, having been rooted and founded in love,

⁶² and Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and En-gedi; six cities and their villages.

²⁹ And David went up from there and stayed in the strongholds at Engedi.

¹³ A bundle of myrrh is my Beloved to me. He shall lie between my breasts.

¹³ Your plants are an orchard of pomegranates with excellent fruits, with henna and spikenard; ¹⁴ spikenard and saffron, calamus and cinnamon; with all trees of frankincense, myrrh and aloes; with all the chief balsam spices;

⁸ If you yourself do not know, most beautiful among women, go in the footsteps of the flock. And feed your kids beside the tents of the shepherds.

¹² His eyes are as the eyes of doves on the rivers of waters, washed with milk, sitting on a setting.

¹⁴ Yet you say, On what cause ? Because Jehovah has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously; and she is your companion and your covenant wife.

² For I am jealous over you with a jealousy of God. For I have promised you to one Man, to present you a pure virgin to Christ. ³ But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent deceived Eve in his craftiness, so your thoughts should be corrupted from the purity which is due to Christ.

¹⁷ that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of Him, ¹⁸ the eyes of your mind having been enlightened, for you to know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

² You are the fairest of the sons of man; grace has poured into Your lips; on this account God has blessed You forever.

³ Your people shall be willing in the day of Your power; in holy adornment from the womb of the dawn, to You is the dew of Your youth.

⁷ Behold his bed, Solomon's! Sixty mighty men are around it, of the mighty men of Israel.

¹⁰ My Beloved is bright and ruddy, standing out among ten thousand. ¹¹ His head is like refined gold; His locks are bushy and black as a raven. ¹² His eyes are as the eyes of doves on the rivers of waters, washed with milk, sitting on a setting. ¹³ His cheeks are like a bed of spices, a raised bed of aromatic herbs. His lips are like lilies dropping flowing myrrh. ¹⁴ His hands are like rings of gold filled with jewels; His body an ivory plate overlaid with sapphires. ¹⁵ His legs are like pillars of marble founded on bases of fine gold; His appearance is like Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. ¹⁶ His mouth is most sweet; and He is altogether lovely. This is my Beloved, and this is my Friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

¹⁷ For how great is its goodness, and how great its beauty! Grain shall make the young men flourish, and new wine the virgins.

⁸ But, nay, rather I also count all things to be loss because of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them to be trash, that I might gain Christ ⁹ and be found in Him; not having my own righteousness of Law, but through the faith of Christ, having the righteousness of God on faith,

¹¹ And I saw, and I heard a sound of many angels around the throne, and the living creatures, and the elders, and their number was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands, ¹² saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb having been slain to receive the power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. ¹³ And every creature which is in Heaven, and in the earth, and underneath the earth, and the things that are on the sea, and the things in all of them, I heard saying: To Him sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb be the blessing and the honor and the glory and the might forever and ever.

⁹ And he built the house and finished it, and covered the house with beams and rows of cedars.

⁸ And send to me cedar trees, firs, and algums from Lebanon, for I know that your servants know how to cut down the trees of Lebanon; and behold, my servants shall be with your servants, ⁹ even to prepare trees in abundance for me, for the house that I am building will be great and wonderful.

¹² The righteous shall flourish as the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

¹⁶ the thresholds, and the latticed windows, and the galleries all around, their three stories opposite the threshold, were paneled with wood all around, and from the ground up to the windows, and the windows were covered

³ Across from the twenty cubits which were to the inner court, and opposite the pavement which was to the outer court, was gallery on the face of gallery, in three stories.

¹⁵ But if I delay, that you may know how to behave in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth. ¹⁶ And confessedly, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in flesh, was justified in Spirit, was seen by angels, was proclaimed among nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

¹⁰ for he looked forward to a city having the foundations of which the builder and maker is God.

⁴ to whom having drawn near, a living Stone, indeed having been rejected by men, but chosen by God, precious; ⁵ you also as living stones are being built a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
